You guess? Some certainty would be nice.
I was kind of making the ironic statement that my second (first/only non-challenge) ability is that I have none.

Do you decide the colors, if so, can it please be one we don't have to highlight to read? I'd appreciate it.
That really depends on the forum skin you use. I have to use a different colour each time and I have been doing my best to not use yellow
Rika2008-07-17 07:36:10
And yes, the name is "Joe, the Red-Headed Jester".

And I've decided that listening to Visaeris' vote counts is generally a bad idea. I'm counting myself next time. Luckily, we have enough roleclaims for this not to be too dangerous for me to claim.
Also, what was that about having two names of scum Visaeris?

I updated the count! I said 6 but forgot lorick :<
As for the scum, it's just theory now.. Some guesswork. I don't want to tip them off. More as it develops. In any case, this is a tricksy situation.
We're running out of people to make roleclaim at this point.

We're running out of people to make roleclaim at this point. Well not really, but still. My evidence store is running low. I can only point so many fingers. Feh
Lorick2008-07-17 07:38:05
Ah, well, hmm.. And yeah, I can see a survivor being in the game, but I don't think it is Slogoth currently, simply because I'm sure he was investigated. If he wasn't, well.. The game will only get more interesting (By this I mean we have an odd investigator and are most likely going to lose more people than we should).
Unknown2008-07-17 07:39:11
Really, no more roleclaims for now. Rika's sort of checks out. A bit plain, could definitly be a lie but hard to tell. Add that to the fact that her play always looks scummy. I'm not defending her I am just saying we need to take the roleclaims we have now and go for the ones that have a glaring problem. So that brings us back to Requiem, we still do not have any explanation to the two challenge abilities.
Unknown2008-07-17 07:39:35
Another question for Rika - Is that second no-power ability you were being ironic about really called 'Average?'
Lorick2008-07-17 07:40:27
Yeah, but it seems like we will have to wait on him to be here to reply.
Rika2008-07-17 07:40:34
Yes, it was really what Balizar called it. I guess it was more a description of Joe rather than the 'skill' itself.
Unknown2008-07-17 07:41:25
Also, I should hope that an investigator did investigate Visaeris on Night 1, but he turned up fellowship - not that we can do anything about it lynch-wise, but I assume they would have spoken up some way or the other.
Unknown2008-07-17 07:41:36
I am willing to wait. We do not need this game to keep up with the pace it has had.

Three, if I were investigator and checked out Visaeris night one and he turned out to be town, I probably would roleclaim.
Dear god no, the last thing I need is someone roleclaiming and forcing hte doctor to split protections.. Resilience only gets me so far.
Better just to drop hints

We won't get one for a while..
Here's what he had to say when I posed that question
QUOTE(requiem dot exe @ Jul 16 2008, 01:24 PM) 533857
Last time I played here I'm pretty sure it was a game I was running, but games here used to be pretty slow paced. I'll do my best to stay active during the day so give me a little bit to see how I do before killing me off because I might be slow.
This is how I'm interpeting my role. I have a challenge ability that works for the random challenges throughout the rest of the game like everyone else. I also have a second ability that hinges on my becoming leader.
My guess would be that either certain things happen better (challenges, finding shops, whatever) or I get a new ability if I'm elected leader.
I know people keep saying that we didn't need another roleclaim, but given that I suspect I really am the best person for the role, I'm wanted to make sure I'm at least considered.
Sidenote: my role was actually decently paraphrased, not just replacing pronouns.
Second sidenote: I'm not stupid. I know that coming into the discussion this late with another roleclaim, especially one that looks so custom fit for leader, is going to draw a lot of suspicion and possibly end in my death. But since I'm pretty sure absent the leadership role I'm just vanilla towny, it's a chance I'm willing to take.

unFoS: Rika
My vanilla townie role action is called Wench: no powers or special abilities. I think Rika's claim checks out, but I don't think there are this many vanilla townies, and think that requiem was not 100% truthful.
I'll keep my vote on Daganev, his annoyance with this fellowship is very strange.
Unknown2008-07-17 07:43:36
Since I'm not sure about this myself - would you say that the 'no powers and abilities' skill has a generic name across the board?
Unknown2008-07-17 07:44:00
I'm actually inclined to turn towards Daganev now. He wants out, i'm not particularly against helping him with that goal, all things considered. He's demonstrated he doesn't have much to contribute at this point besides petulant tantrums, but I'll hold off on voting for him simply because my position is biased.
Lorick2008-07-17 07:47:09
Eh, vote however you want.
Unknown2008-07-17 07:48:15
To elaborate, if the answer to my above question is probably yes, I'm not believing Rika's roleclaim.
Lorick2008-07-17 07:49:37
I wouldn't know, and please don't claim yourself unless you are sure you are getting scum with it. That said, if average is universal by a large degree, I'd be suspicious.

Silvanus says his was 'wench'. I doubt all vanilla townie 'skills' would be called 'wench', even in Balizar standards.
