Enter Deckard. You might seem sane on the outside, but on the inside you're a raging sea of malcontent and hatred. You hate all people. They dare travel through your lands on the way to find some "treasure"? They dare step on the holy soil you've spent your entire life protecting? They are trespassers. They must die. You have joined this merry fellowship in hopes of killing as many people as you possibly can. You dont care about treasure, all you care about is blood. You have no mystical powers, you dont need them. You win when you have killed 8 people or if you are the last person standing.
Natural Woodsman: A man of the woods, you can scavenge for food, hunt, pathfind, etc.
Innocence: You appear to be just a normal woodsman, and investigations will prove fruitless.
Throat slit: During the night, you can slit someone's throat, killing them.
Bow Shot: Once in the game during the day, you can take aim with your bow and shoot someone, attempting to kill them. (BOW SHOT X)
Local Discount: You get 1/2 off all items in shops.

...uh, Dag? I'm missing the part about ending the day.
Also, when Archer explained his ability, it happened mostly how he described.
I really get the sense that you're trying to create suspicion where there's no reason, which seems like the sort of tactic scum would use. Ergo, Vote: Daganev.
Unknown2008-07-19 01:22:07
I agree, and he seemed to be nit-picking even before me and trying to form targets of bandwagons out of the silliest things.

Hmm my post thingy seems to be broken, wonder if I did something to it. Anyway I hate working long hours always miss all of the good stuff.
Unknown2008-07-19 03:12:59
Anyway as far as posting something relevant to the game, Daganev has been acting strange (well more than usual) ever since Vis got voted in for leader. I'm not very good at using any of the forums tools so can't quote it or anything, but he has been talking about being lynched for the longest and now this adds to it. Don't think he has some sort of vengence ability though, just posting random thoughts I suppose.
Unknown2008-07-19 03:36:06
I keep missing the challenge nominations and stuff.
Anyway, that's a pretty amazing streak of two nights with no kills. The thing is, it also gives us nothing at all to work with, and we haven't lost a single townie or offed any scum except through a modkill. At this rate, the 10-day restriction is starting to sound like a good idea.
While I agree that Daganev's been acting strange, it's more of an ongoing and everpresent paranoia than anything new. The flavour text is a valid concern, though, given Bali's RP emphasis in this game, so some confirmation from the mod that this was indeed flavour text and has no bearing on Archer2's actual role would be nice.

I'm not going to confirm or deny anything of that nature.
Unknown2008-07-19 04:34:12
If we assume that Bali put those in on purpose then what does that mean? Archer lied about his items and a bit about his role. His skill still sounded like how he described it. I can even understand lying about the lawman badge. That would make us all very suspicious. I just don't understand the reason for lying about the sword. Archer, if you are town it might be worth explaining why there are these differences between what you told us and the flavour text.
Arix2008-07-19 04:56:41
I'm back, did someone do the challenge?
Arix2008-07-19 04:59:44
Oh wow, 100 gold, sweet. NOW I just need to manage to be here when there is shopping to be done

I'll sell you this mechanical contraption that I can't discern any info about because I'm a stupid half troll.. 700gold? :<
Arix2008-07-19 05:47:12
I don't have that much
Unknown2008-07-19 05:56:41
I don't think anyone does, except maybe the thief. If Daganev's roleclaim is true, though, he'll probably be the one who can figure it out, unless we have another engineer-type running around. Mechanical contraptions, mechanical balls..
Arix2008-07-19 06:10:22
Can I point something out about the Necklace? It says 'Magical-looking'. Now, when you think of magic items, they're usually more expensive than that and not to be found at some random tavern stall. It's my experience in other games of this type that unless you know for a fact it's magical, you're better off with something else. Because otherwise It's either cursed and the guy is trying to pass it off to a sucker by making it look like a good deal, or it's something mundane made to look magical. I had a D&D character who got filthy rich off a handful of trinkets and Nystul's Magic Aura. I know this isn't D&D, but just keep my words in mind when you see anymore 'magical looking' items
Xenthos2008-07-19 06:14:52
Well, if you accept the dwarf's claim of having 700 gold when we first began this journey as well as his engineering ability, it seems like this contraption would have been sent by the very Heavens to his waiting hands. Excepting for the thief who he claims nabbed half of it, leaving him sadly unable.
I'm still completely unsure why a thief has completely avoided Slogoth twice now, when it was known our brave leader was carrying a large quantity of gold, but it is seeming slightly more difficult to disbelieve in its existence.

I am going to go ahead and:
Vote: Daganev
He's still been very suspicious and I've been voting against him everyday until he stops being so damn suspicious.

I can think of a few reasons, actually, ignoring the inevitable protests.
1. Slogoth himself is the thief, which also means he's a con-artist, and dangerous.
2. The thief is working to frame Slogoth, knowing that most will assume the former.
3. The thief is after easy targets, and Slogoth doesn't seem to provide one.
If the first is true, one must consider that our leader would surely be intelligent enough to realize (particularly given the frequent mention that he's not been targeted) that fingers would be pointed in his direction.
If the second is true, one must consider who might benefit most from our leader's removal.
If the third is true, the thief is likely to continue picking the pockets of easy marks until caught.
Arix2008-07-19 06:48:16
Option 4: Lorick lied, there is no thief, and Daganev is just going along with it
Lorick2008-07-19 06:57:08
Sorry guys, just got back and challenge was done and everything worth buying bought. Ah well.
It isn't a lie, and I it is only for your benefit to consider it thus. Arix, you keep looking weirder with all this denial about thieves. Personally I think we have an inexperience or not so intelligent person as a thief since it would of been to their benefit to frame me by stealing from Visaeris after he handed me the gold.
As for the vote, yeah, I'm still Vote: Daganev

I didn't deny the thief, I just didn't want people to discount the possibility that there isn't one

I suppose it's also possible that there isn't a thief. It seems unlikely, but it is possible.
