Oh, and Lorick lied about being poor.
Thul2008-07-26 01:45:13
Okay. I don't like it when my random hypotheses turn up correct like this. It's HORRIBLY convenient. But we can work with this.

Not coming up with anything on Daganev is sort of odd, and says something bad about either him or Arix... but we can work on that later. First of all we need to work out if Arix is BSing this whole thing. This is actually relatively easy. Unvote: Daganev

Vote: Lorick Roleclaim, please. Full inventory.
Unknown2008-07-26 01:46:24
I've been thinking Lorick is scum, and this information is helpful.

Vote: Lorick
Arix2008-07-26 01:49:24
Oh, and my challenge ability is that I can nab artifacts. I assume this to mean some sort of Indiana Jones-esqe thing where I can grab idols off pedestals without setting off the boulder trap, but I could be wrong.
Arix2008-07-26 01:51:06
VOTE: LORICK

He lied, and I believe him to be scum based on my investigation. Also, if he does turn up scum, could I possibly get a doctor to keep an eye on me?
Unknown2008-07-26 02:01:00
Unvote: Daganev

Vote: Lorick

I guess it doesn't really need to be said that Arix is going to die tomorrow if Lorick isn't actually scum.
Thul2008-07-26 02:01:46
You're... probably screwed, actually. Look at Othero's role really fast.

All you can really do is hope that someone has a one or three or something shot left to burn on you.

On that note, I'd like for everyone to state the following before the day ends:

I win with the Fellowship.

This way Xenthos can get in at least one investigate tonight. I'm going to be highly suspect of anyone too hesitant or too inactive to do so. Xenthos is of course exempt, but then I'm naturally suspicious of him anyway, as I am of anyone who's ever held Glomdoring leadership positions.

Arix2008-07-26 02:06:43
I did state that. And I never said Lorick was scum, I just said I thought he was suspicious based on what he was wearing and carrying.

This post was made at 5:44, PM (Pacific Time)

All of a sudden, shadows gather around Daganev, circling and wisping around him, protecting him. The sun, as if defying all laws of physics, seems to set in a matter of moments. It is now night. In the darkness, the protective shadows dissipate around Daganev.

IT IS NOW NIGHT 4

Send me your night choices.
Arix2008-07-26 02:11:05
Is it really night or is that an illusion?
Unknown2008-07-26 02:14:18
*facepalm*

Yes. ITS NIGHT. QUIT POSTING.
Unknown2008-07-27 01:37:53
Lorick failed to make it through the night and was stabbed to death.

The remains of Arix are scattered about, purple tendrils of strange mist floating around the bodyparts.

Lorick was...

Enter Jae'zub. You're an evil warlock. You like to steal souls, raise the dead, make pacts with Dark Gods, etc. You are chaotic evil to say the least. You've gotten together with these...sheep because you plan an using the Daemonicus Orb, a supposed precious artifact hidden with the rest of the treasure. The Orb will grant you the power to raise an undead army and...control the region, and then...the world. Together with warlock mafia you must join forces to stop the fellowship from reaching the treasure before you do. If any Warlock makes it to day 10, you win the game. You also win if only Warlocks are left standing. You win with the Warlocks.

Mental Domination: You may use your evil powers to intimidate people into giving you what you want.
Essence Drain: During the night you may target someone in hopes of blocking any night action they take.
Warlock Destruction: Instead of using Essence drain, during the night you may choose to super charge your demonic power. Simply pm me with DAEMONIC CHARGE. The more charges you have, the more powerful you become.

2 Charges: Gain the ability to make a nightkill for the rest of the game.
4 Charges: Gain nightkill immunity for the rest of the game.
8 Charges: Kill three people in one night. Can only be used once.

For every 3 votes cast on you, you will lose 1 Daemonic Charge. Votes are accumlitive. You cannot have negative charges. Also, for instance, if you have 3 charges, and get six votes on you, you will be at 1 charge and will lose your nightkill ability.

Warlock's Bond: You are apart of the Warlock Mafia and may talk with REMOVED.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The group enters a small clearing in the forest. It seems to be some sort of grove, and there is a group of people sitting under a large tree. The roots extend visibly to the feet of the group. Everyone nods in agreement and walks towards the people sitting under the tree.

As they get closer, the details of the people under the tree start to become more and more clear. They dont look like merchants of any sort. In fact, they look kinda dangerous.

Someone says, "Uhh, why are we walking towards these people again?"

A female voice answers, "Because, they might know how to get to the cove. And we've been in this forest forever."

The voice responds, "Whatever. They better be friendly though."

Everyone stops walking. The people under the tree, now indentifiable as grown men with weapons, stand up. A staring match ensues. The female shouts a "Hallo!" But they do not respond. They only continue to stare at the group.

She says, "Hrmph, whats their problem. Thats just rude, not repsonding like tha..."

And she is interrupted by the pack of men running from under the tree towards the group, weapons drawn. They must be bandits of some sort. They scream and shout obscenities, preparing themselves for a fight with you.

It is time for your warriors to prepare themselves for battle. You can send two people to fight the bandits.

It IS NOW DAY 5.

Only five more days left!
Arix2008-07-27 01:39:29
well at least a warlock died too. Nice playing with you. I was hoping I'd be able to give my gold to Visaeris though
Unknown2008-07-27 01:42:31
Main page is updated.
Thul2008-07-27 02:34:24
Vote: Daganev If multiple people can convince me that having his name on that very real and very successful night-force action was not his fault, I may consider taking this vote off. Otherwise, he's won the title of Mr. Obvilynch for the entire frigging game.

I know we had multiple fighters, here. I'm not one, though... Visaeris, I think?

Awesome. Props to whoever vigged Lorick. Let's see what we have to work with... If the other (one? two? three, maybe? I'm guessing two) function in the same manner as Lorick, it's in our interests to dump as many spare votes on suspicious people as we can. Of course, that's dependent on everyone being active. dry.gif I'm assuming that when votes are calculated for that effect, they're the final tally votes rather than just picking up a vote at all during the course of the day, because otherwise... hell, I could sink the entire warlock team right now. It'd take one rather long post containing multiple votes and unvotes for everyone who's playing, and would be obnoxious as hell.
Unknown2008-07-27 04:03:35
Vote Daganev. That force night is just screaming to be lynched. Also Nominate Shamarah and Visaeris for the fight. Remember, Shamarah is the brawler as he already won us that one challenge and vis is a warrior as well.
Thul2008-07-27 05:04:10
There's a difference between brawling (knocking people around in bars) and fighting in the sense presented. I think you might want to hold off on Shamarah in case there's an armed warrior who specializes in this stuff. sleep.gif Archer would have been a top choice for this.

Does anyone else have a suitable ability that'll function here? Shamarah's a decent stand-in, I guess, but I think this is a job for a meatwall. Or someone with Richard-grade attack spells, maybe. I'm only good on forest fires. dry.gif
Daganev2008-07-27 05:45:30
Ok, either, someone is setting me up, or someone miscounted how many votes were on me, vs how many votes were on Lolrick.

I am guessing, that the skill was supposed to protect lolrick from getting lynched, but instead it hit me instead because I still had more votes on me. 3 vs 3, tie goin to the person who had the most votes.

As for arix, investigating me, my inventory is made up of the following items.

Strange-looking attire, a monocle and a a bag of gadgets.

I suggest we go through and look at people who voted along with lolrick and the usual thing, and not try to lynch me.

I had 3 votes on me for a very long time, 2 IRL days actually. If you will notice, it was only after Lolrick got 3 votes, that someone forced night. and for some reason put shadows on me. I am thinking that we don't have a vigilante, but rather part of the demonic pact is that if a non warlock gets protect the warlock with the most votes on him dies. BUt I could be wrong about that, and we do have a vig, in which case we just got really lucky.

If I was scum, those shadows would have gone on me a LONG time ago. And we know for afact that lolrick was scum.

Instaed of focusing on me all the time (every day now actually,) I suggest we go through voting paterns and the like snifing out those who are lolrick's pals.

Also, why didn't someone ressurect Othero?

Unknown2008-07-27 15:48:13
I'm an uber-warrior.
Unknown2008-07-27 15:58:36
I'm back on my Wii since my power chord fell apart again, and I didn't see how many posts there were after the opening.

So yeah, I have righteously gotten badass and can definitely win this fight.
Nominate Requiem

I was reading the voting thing as real time (triggered in the middle rather at the end of day) but that it had to be three different votes simultaneously rather than cumulatively.

Also, Vote Daganev. All of the other day powers have been pretty transparent about who was using them.
