I think you could be scum because you're alive again, warlocks raise stuff, and there was a suspicious absence of nightkill last night. If a rezzer comes forth and vouches for you, I'll lay off. Rezzing you for your challenge ability is a logical enough reason, though.

It could've been the Bag of Trick that rezzed you instead, though. We still have no frigging clue what, if anything, that thing did.

Bali probably just hasn't been on between Visaeris's give post and now. You'll notice that he timestamped that night-force action, which would have been relevant if he'd received the request before someone received enough votes for a lynch. There he is.

The problem with asking the rezzer to come forward, is that that just makes them a warlock target, and since Othero is dead, it would be a bad idea to come forward.

It could have been my bag of tricks, but that would just be wierd. Though, maybe the revive skill is random as well, and can only be used once 3 people are dead. Or there is a random shot revive skill, and a targeted revive skill.

Lots of possibilities. But I suspect warlocks lynched me. As does Visaeris, and if they lynched me, why would they revive me?

Warlocks can win through delay. Toss an unsuspicious minion back into the mess, and hope it lives long enough to assure your victory would be the trick I would use. If nothing else, it statistically reduces the chances that the warlock will get lynched.

Revive as a player ability could require charges like the warlocks have, could be one-shot, could be random, could be damn near anything. I'm guessing it's a one-shot power because it would be hideously, hideously broken on any side if it's multiple use, and so I'm not overly concerned about asking the person to come forward.

The color... eh. I guess that makes me feel slightly better about you, but it's hardly a clear and ringing acquittal.

Well, I guess whomever revived me, IF you have no other abilities, you might as well come forward and let us know what happened.

Thul, look at the first page and look at the colors there, then look at the color of the REVIVE text.

I do not think that the colour will do much to alleviate these fears, as the colour is based upon what you "were," not what you "are" (by his theory). It does seem horribly convoluted to me, however... do you not think it's a bit of a stretch, Thul?

Gold system adding abilities, Lorick's role description, challenge system, Daganev's Bag of Tricks, and that's just the stuff we know about. Convoluted? Convoluted is the name of the game.

Mafia revive ability is well within the realm of possibility, and something I suspect Bali would throw at us. Hell, Lorick's got a day eight "everyone dies" ability.

It's only ("only") three people. But by Night 8... that'll be roughly half the players we have left in one swoop. And then it's just a matter of voting the leftovers out of the way. Might not be instant death if we let it get to that point, but it's still Really Not Good.

Also, yeah... where the hell is Shamarah? And what sort of person has "brawling" abilities that isn't a monk? Didn't really question him since he volunteered the information and has occasionally popped in with some nice insights, but it has been a while...

Silvanus, how does your ability work again? Visaeris took the only item I'm interested in and I've got some cash.

If he had the 8 charges, that would mean that he never was able to kill people after the first 2 charges. So it all depends on the rules of the game and how many killers there are as to what "only 3" means.

As I interpret Lorick's abilities, he has to choose between charge/roleblock and then he can kill without affecting his charge count once he's charged to two. It's... a little vague, admittedly. I'm assuming the other warlock (I'm now guessing there's just one left due to power set and general slantedness towards their team) works on a similar charge mechanic, and so can kill at the same time he's charging (or performing some unspecified ability... probably not roleblocking.)

I also notice that there's no stipulation against multiple warlocks killing in one night. Worrying, if we've got two or more left.

I've got work for a while longer, but when I get home or if someone else is willing, we need to tally up who's accumulated votes on any given day, and see if that might have something to do with why we haven't been exploding into purple smoke left and right...
