Edited for Addition: Wasn't it decided by the Shadow Court previously that any and all logs of Shadow Court activity should not be posted in the forums or be spoken of outside the Shadow Court?
Hahaha what? I understand the principle but you made an IC decision about that?

No idea, I haven't seen anything yet about it.

Oh, Synl ninja'd me actually. If he didn't know, maybe Marina made it up.
Druken2008-07-18 01:13:23
No, the Shadow Court didn't make that a rule. That's stupid and impossible to enforce. Marina's probably working off the assumption that people that belong to private IC organizations won't post logs.
But, as Exeryte said and as the log obviously shows, the meeting degenerated when one of the Guardians left. Barking in the fricking court room does not make it a court meeting.
And, generally, speaking, Arel should have been there to mediate it if it were an official meeting. Otherwise, it's an official group of people doing potentially official things unofficially. You know. Kind of like when congress tries to do things.

You'd think that not posting org ruling council matters on the forums not need to be said at all. On another note, it seems less a matter of 'Dramadoring" and more a matter of OOC clan drama

Hello. This
You don't ever copypasta council stuff onto the forums. Ever.
Jesus, what a stupid thread and an epic example of fail on a half dozen levels.

To save this thread I implore everyone here to click on my eggs. They don't have much time left.

I thought we did. I remember hearing something along the lines of that before I became Queen.

No, because as has been said, it's impossible to enforce.
That doesn't mean doing it is a Good Idea, though.

Lawl. Reading this thread is better than reading the (removed) logs.

Look, if you are playing DnD with some friends, and the DM tells you something quietly on a piece of paper, and then you shout out the to the group.. Hey look what the DM just wrote to me privately.. It ruins the game.
You should have real life loyalty to wanted to play a good and fair game, and things done in private is part of that.
It ruins the game if things like this are just posted on the forums. Nothing to do with loyalty or Forum RP.

It was probabbly ment to be said to you on an OOC level. Or perhaps it was said to you in the context of posting logs to news boards. (which is a perfectly fine IC conversation)

I just think threads like this (and the Fain logs, etc) should just have a big SPOILERS in the title and perhaps even tags in the post itself. I start to read these things and then realize too late it is not some public event but private information that I would never come across IC. I try hard to keep OOC and IC separate but knowing things like who is in which Order (especially "secret" ones like Fain) or the like is really hard to block out.
