Here’s a (mostly whole) log of my visit to Magnagora shortly after I found Lusternia. I was still very new, didn’t even entirely understand planar travel (as you’ll see) and was entirely overwhelmed by the whole event (it was my first interaction with any god, let alone two.) I’d only been playing for a bit over a month when this happened, and it was my first mud. It is still the most impressive and engaging experience I’ve had in Lusternia, so I thought I’d share it.
The log begins shortly after Mire invited me into Magnagora after I asked if I could enter for the Celestines’ pilgrimage. It's split in three parts.. Magnagora, Astral and Afterward.

Swishing its small tail, a wooly mammoth ponderously leaves to the south.
You say, "I would be interested in your view of Celest as well."
The Necropolis Library Atrium.
Dark shadows coalesce in and out of existence as small, dark clouds obfuscating
the available light as they float around the area from a shield shrine of Fain
nearby. Two doorless archways lead out of this room to Wraith Lane and Mourning
Lane on either side of the Necropolis. Every wall of this library is lined with
heavy marble shelves that are part of the walls themselves, filled with ancient
tomes. The centre of the room is occupied by four plain wooden tables with
unpadded wooden benches. The ceiling is lined with candles, shifting in eerie
patterns as they float around the room. The doorway to the southeast glows with
dark energy from some device of great power in the next room, the glow pulling
colour and light out of the air into the void beyond. A library catalogue rests
here on a pedestal. An elegant chair carved of black onyx sits here. An elegant
chair carved of black onyx sits here. A painting of Angkrag Meat Market is
proudly exhibited on a nearby wall. Nariah d'Iasani, Black Pearl of Nil is here,
shrouded. She wields a damning symbol of domination in her left hand.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He wields a bloody symbol of pain in
his left hand. Xanon, Wrath of Brom is here, shrouded. He wields a twisted staff
in his left hand and a large darksteel round shield in his right. Mistress Mire
d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine is here, shrouded. She wields a glass violin in
her left hand and a glittering diamond dagger in her right. You may use the
LIBRARY commands here.
You see exits leading northeast, south, northwest, and in.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Well, then, the Megalith."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "All that matters to most is
that Celest wishes to kill us for who we are."
Kaikazu arrives from the northwest.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Are you much familiar with
the history of Project Cosmic Hope?"
Kaikazu leaves to the south.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "And something we've no
control over, I might add."
You nod your head at Mire.
You nod your head at Dvyrus.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Then you probably know that
it used to be known as the Stone of Truth."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "The current form is much
more glorious."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "It simply pulses with raw
energy and power."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Well, now, I've an option
for you."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Right, so."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Your options."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "We've a..creature, of
sorts..that keeps our city's protection intact."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "If you ask me to see it, I
will show you. However, many find its appearance repulsive and don't consider
the tremendous amount of science and research that went into its creation."
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "It's very beautiful."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "If you look beyond
appearances, I guarantee you will find it fascinating. Aye, I find it a marvel
to behold."
Passage before a circular chamber.
Swirling eddies of chaotic, dancing ether glisten like stars from a shield
shrine of Morgfyre nearby. The ribbed roof of the corridor narrows and grows
shorter as it approaches a small archway to the southwest. Through the arch, a
circular chamber can be seen, aglow with dark energy. The arch is covered in
runes and strange carvings that have been laboriously chipped out of the hard
stone. The floors and walls of the passage here are covered in an organic slime
that makes the ground slippery and causes it to shine in the dim torchlight. Two
tunnels lead off toward staircases to the north and east, the rising steps up to
the ground level illuminated by flickering torches. Towering above you, this
massive mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long yellowed tusks. Connoisseur of
Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He wields a bloody symbol of pain in his left hand.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine is here, shrouded. She wields a

You see exits leading north, east, and southwest.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "These passages beneath our
city are as ancient as almost anything else you'll find here."
p mammoth
This wooly mammoth has long, scruffy brown hair all over its huge, ponderous
body. Two long, yellowed tusks curl upwards and taper to a sharp point although
they are chipped by much use. Wide leather straps circle its body, allowing a
rider easy control of it.
A wooly mammoth is quite powerful.
He weighs about 4095 pounds.
His feedbag could use replenishing, but will still last him approximately 32
months.
He is mountable as a legendary steed.
He is loyal to Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench.
You see nothing in it.
You nod your head emphatically.
You follow Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine southwest to strange
chamber above a large staircase.
With a wistful look on her face, Mire touches a shield shrine of Morgfyre.
You follow Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine down to landing over
pit.
Landing over pit.
Swirling eddies of chaotic, dancing ether glisten like stars from a shield
shrine of Morgfyre nearby. The stone stairs enter from above here and curve
around in a small landing before descending further into the darkness. A single
torch burns on the wall here, illuminating the cryptic scrawlings on the walls,
as well as the bodies of the menacing serpents that make up the banisters of the
staircase. A powerful heat rises from below, causing the organic slime that
coats everything to be even more slippery than on the stairs above. Towering
above you, this massive mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long yellowed
tusks. Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He wields a bloody symbol of
pain in his left hand. Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench is here, shrouded. She
wields a twisted staff in her left hand and an iron shield in her right.

glass violin in her left hand and a glittering diamond dagger in her right.
You see exits leading up and down.
You follow Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine down to the Pit of the
Necromentate.
Mire greets Kunthin Shadowarm with a sincere smile.
Kunthin Shadowarm says, "Oh, the job pays well and House i'Xiia provides good
medical benefits."
The Pit of the Necromentate.
Swirling eddies of chaotic, dancing ether glisten like stars from a shield
shrine of Morgfyre nearby. Organic slime covers everything in sight, liquid and
slick in the heat caused by a large organism. The walls have been carved with
detailed pictures and undecipherable runes that weave around the mountings for
several torches that illuminate the room. A large platform rises in the middle
of the room, before which stands a small altar. Candles burn on the altar,
illuminating a book that has been fastened to a stone stand. The large staircase
descends from above, landing at a corner of the room where one snake head and
one tail are the bottoms of the banisters. This pit is clearly a place of power,
guarded by stone statues of menacing creatures spread at frequent intervals
along the walls. The huge bulbous brain of the Necromentate pulsates within the
pit below. There are 4991 spikes sticking out of the Necromentate. Warhammer in
hand, Kunthin Shadowarm stands here rigidly. Towering above you, this massive
mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long yellowed tusks. Connoisseur of
Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He wields a bloody symbol of pain in his left hand.

Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Kunthin! How fares the
Necromentate?"
Kunthin Shadowarm says, "Lovely little critter, ain't it?"
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Most certainly."
With a wistful look on her face, Mire touches the Necromentate.

You stand within the Capital City of the Mighty Dominion of Magnagora.
Your environment conforms to that of tainted constructed underground.
You are in the Prime Material Plane.
p necromentate
Covered in slathering ooze and slime, this enormous grey brain emits a sickening
sound every time it throbs and pulses. Several floating eyes are attached to it
by long stringy veins, each eye a different colour. A horrific gaping maw filled
with razor sharp teeth hangs down from the lower half of the foul mind
monstrosity. The Necromentate thrives from the polluted gasses of the Megalith,
like a grotesque parasite. A plethora of wriggling red tentacles spasm and shake
with orgasmic delight.
The Necromentate has an air of extreme strength.
He is strangely weightless.
He is loyal to the Mighty Dominion of Magnagora.
You see nothing in it.
You nod your head emphatically.
Morgfyre strokes you tenderly.
Mire blinks.
The frail, haunting voice of a child says, "Hello, little merian."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Lord, hail!"
Mire performs a graceful curtsey.

You say, "Greetings."
Veonira curtseys respectfully before Morgfyre.
You bow respectfully to Morgfyre.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "Ahh, greetings."
Mire tells you, "This is our city Patron, Lord Morgfyre. Mind you watch what you
say."
Dvyrus inclines his head politely to Morgfyre.
A mirthful, joyous voice laughingly says, "Rather far from the seas, aren't
you?"
You nod your head at Morgfyre.
You say, "I have been curious to learn more of Magnagora for several years, and
am finally able to do so."
The model of flawless elegance, a woman's noble voice says, "And what brings a
theologian of Japhiel to My demesne?"
A soft breeze caresses your exposed skin, sending shivers through your body.
"Oh?" Morgfyre exclaims quizzically.
You say, "My path is one of learning, and I seek to learn. I believe it is best
to seek knowledge from its source."
An eloquent voice, tinged with amusement, says, "I dare presume high fashion in
Magnagora seems to exceed that of New Celest by a great deal. Fins and leggings
were never very appealing to Me, though Amberle might have disagreed on that
point."
Mire smirks.
Veonira's eyes sparkle with amusement.
A sensual voice on the cusp of ecstasy says, "She was ever a simple whore,
though."
You say, "I apologize for my appearance. I can change if you would like."
You say, "I meant to appear simple and unthreatening, not knowing how I would be
greeted here."
Morgfyre, the Legion flicks His hand idly, appearing disinterested.
Mire tells you, "Do be sure to put the extra emphasis, as in 'You' rather than
the 'you' one would use for normal mortals."
An august and reserved voice proudly says, "And what have you observed thus far,
my scantily-clad visitor?"
You say, "I have learned much of Your city, Lord. I hope I can record some of it
so others can learn what I do, as well. It is most interesting to see things
from another perspective."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "I have told him a bit about
the noble Houses, Lord."
Bhairan arrives from the up.
He is followed by a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged
beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a
ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, and a ragged
beggar.
Comprehension flashes across Mire's face.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "I will be right back."
A heated, argumentative voice says, "Ah yes, the nobles are an interesting, and
loyal, group."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine has lost you.
Mire beckons Bhairan to her.
Utterly compassionless, an emotionless voice says, "You have learned ...much. I
see you are as descriptive with your words as with your choice of clothing."
Mire smirks.
You blush furiously.
Bhairan leaves, following Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine.
He is followed by a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged
beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a
ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, a ragged beggar, and a ragged
beggar.
Dvyrus jerks slightly as the air fills with sparkling motes of bright light.
An understanding voice confidingly says, "Lady d'Murani, Lord d'Erlette? I take
it one of you has guided this wayward soul?"
Bhairan arrives following Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine.

Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "Ahh, I was going to tell him
some of the Demon Lords, Lord Morgfyre. I believe he wished to see the
Necromentate first, however."
Kunthin Shadowarm says, "Lovely little critter, ain't it?"
Morgfyre pets the Necromentate ingratiatingly.
A deep and throaty mumbling voice says, "Just so, Master Shadowarm."
At the darkest hour, the bell tower suddenly springs to life with sound. The
shadows are given voice as its hallowed tones ring in celebration of midnight
over Magnagora.
A grim, somber voice says, "By all means, then, do not let Me interrupt."
You notice Mire's eyelids are beginning to droop.
A small cresting wave expands across the ground and sends several cracks
shooting across the surface.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says to you, "In anycase when you
are ready to learn some of the Demon Lords, I will enlighten you somewhat."
You nod your head at Dvyrus.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Perhaps the Wailing Woman
would be a better atmosphere?"
Dvyrus shakes his head.
Dvyrus makes a beckoning motion to no one in particular.
You begin to follow Dvyrus.
The Hall of Living Transformation.
The wall of the cathedral has been covered with beautiful frescoes that depict
the transformation of the living during the Taint Wars. In the first frame, the
various races toil diligently at harsh fields, shackled and held captive by
cruel angelic creatures that float above them, bloody whips grasped in hand,
while hideously fat merian slave drivers lie idly about. The sphere of Hod is
woven into the floor before the second frame, which captures the Taint
descending upon the fields, darkening the land around it while the enslaved
races rise up in rebellion against their cruel masters. Their shackles are
breaking, and the angels and merian are taken aback and overthrown by the newly
freed slaves. The final frame depicts the Empire of Magnagora in its dark glory,
the various races by now merged into the viscanti, while Nihilists command
demons and ride the winds, powerful Ur'Guard march in lock-step formation
outside the Necropolis, and Geomancers work the earth as though it were clay in
the now-barren fields around the city. The merians are nowhere to be seen, but
many of the angels can be seen conversing with the beautiful demons, and taking
on demonic aspects themselves. Towering above you, this massive mammoth has a
thick, shaggy hide and long yellowed tusks. Master Sergeant Bhairan Feyranti,
the Midnight Drake is here. He wields a vicious katana in his left hand.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine is here. She wields a glass violin
in her left hand and a glittering diamond dagger in her right. Veonira d'Murani,
the Earth Wench is here, shrouded. She wields a twisted staff in her left hand
and an iron shield in her right. Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He
wields a bloody symbol of pain in his left hand.

You follow Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette west to Font of the
Wrathful Bells.
Font of the Wrathful Bells.
Here the walls themselves rumble with the earth-shaking force of a noiseless
roar that seemingly echoes from far beneath the ground. At each corner of the
room flickers a tall, white-hot flame, seemingly fueled by nothing at all, and
in each fire kneels a burnt skeleton. Their bones blackened by the terrible heat
of the flames, each skeleton is kneeling, with arms wide in supplication,
towards a large stone altar in the center of the room. Before the altar itself
lies a twisted sword, stained a putrid brown by countless sacrifices. On the
back wall, several feet behind the altar, a large, bowl-shaped brazier roars
with fire that rages even higher than the rest, waiting to devour the bodies of
those sacrificed to the Duke of Inescapable Damnation. Towering above you, this
massive mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long yellowed tusks. Master

Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "This is the Silent Cathedral,
there are five fonts each devoted to the different Lords."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "As you likely already know,
the Lords were once known as Emanations - during the Time of Weakness."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "The Shallamurine Cathedral is
an edifice that failed to adapt to change as it came."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "It's a much antiquated place.
Amusingly enough, the priestesses are consumed by hatred and the feelings of the
Demon Lords they so claim to despise."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "The first Lord is Ashtorath,
the Duke of Inescapable Damnation. Known for his unending rage, brute strength,
and rather lack of tact, to be honest."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "I would liken Him to your
inquisitors and so-called crusaders of Light."
Font of the Devourer.
The stone walls are sculpted to appear as though entirely of pulsating flesh,
constantly shifting and mutating. At various intervals hands, feet, and every so
often a horrible gnashing mouth emerges to snap at the empty air, as though mad
with hunger. Upon the back wall is the only permanent growth of this edifice, a
giant staring eye, red-veined and piercing. It gazes greedily down upon a wide
rectangular hole in the floor beneath it, around which even the thrashing
motions of the living room become still. Within the hole there is nothing but
endless blackness and a terrible silence broken only by the screams of those
sent to the gaping maw of the Devourer of Souls. A dark mahogany table stands
here. Towering above you, this massive mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long
yellowed tusks. Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench is here, shrouded. She wields
a twisted staff in her left hand and an iron shield in her right. Master

Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "This is the altar devoted to
Lord Gorgulu - the Devourer. The most touched by the Taint, He represents
unbridled ambition."
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "Most consider Lord Gorgulu
inane, but that is simply the result of those without the aptitude to listen. He
is raw power, the desire to always strive for more."
Font of the Web of Despair.
The doorway into this chapel opens into complete and utter blackness, broken
only by a faint gloom far in the distance. Stepping forward reveals a
labyrinthine maze of solid but invisible barriers that feel like a thousand
strands of web to the touch, which wind chaotically through the room until it
reaches a small, dimly illuminated altar of unknown make, wrapped completely in
thick, grey webbing. Before the altar lies a tiny dagger, its blade stained with
some deadly venom. Against the back wall of the room stands a simple stone
pedestal upon which rests a large black tome, open wide to a blank but ominous
parchment. Inscribed on its cover are ancient runes that declare it to contain
the darkest secrets of those offered in sacrifice to the Prince of the Dark
Fates. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground.
Towering above you, this massive mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long
yellowed tusks. Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He wields a bloody
symbol of pain in his left hand. Saklas d'Murani is here, shrouded. She wields

left hand and an iron shield in her right.

The Hall of the Pyrrhic Sage.
This hall honours the Magnagoran tradition of sacrifice to achieve greatness,
the sphere of Chokmah carved into the marble floor. Lining the otherwise
unadorned walls are small alcoves, each containing a small sculpture of a male
figure in the midst of suffering or struggle, kneeling weary and bloodied before
their objective. Beneath each statuette is a miniature plaque detailing their
discovery, be it a historical text or an ancient artefact, and the contribution
it has made to the culture and might of Magnagora. In the centre of the hall
stands a full-sized nude male statue, unbowed despite the deep gashes that cover
his body, from which acrid smokes rises into the darkness above. His eyes are a
pair of fiery rubies that shimmer in the gloom of the chamber. Master Sergeant
Bhairan Feyranti, the Midnight Drake is here. He wields a vicious katana in his
left hand. Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine is here. She wields a
glass violin in her left hand and a glittering diamond dagger in her right.

Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "Hrm, one moment - Creslin.
Need to collect my thoughts. Lord Baalphegar is a rather difficult to explain
Lord."
The Hall of the Blackened Soul.
The defiance of Magnagora in the face of adversity is memorialized in the hall,
the shape of the Binah sphere engraved into the marble floor. The hall is filled
with tall, black wax candles that stand atop tall braziers. The candles burn
dimly in the lurking darkness around, their flickers representing the souls of
those who have fallen for the ideals of Magnagora. In the centre of the hall, a
full-size nude female statue stands defiant, her face upturned towards the
waiting shadows above, holding a crystal globe of blood red in her hands, while
her eyes shimmer softly from two large sapphires. The sharp smell of powerful
incense fills the air from the flickering candles, and the hiss of burning wax
is the solitary sound in this empty place. Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus is
here. He wields a bloody symbol of pain in his left hand. Master Sergeant
Bhairan Feyranti, the Midnight Drake is here. He wields a vicious katana in his

Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Your options."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "We've a..creature, of

Connoisseur of

Warhammer in

p necromentate

Bhairan arrives following Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine.

some of the Demon Lords, Lord Morgfyre.

She wields

Upon an iron cross.
A sickly sweet odour, the smell of decomposing corpses, wafts in from a war
shrine of Fain nearby. The corrosiveness of the taint sickens the land. A cross
forms here where the two main iron beams that hold this astrosphere together
meet, seamlessly melded together. The sky is open above, and rather than the
usual velvet blackness of astral space, a strange brown ball of light hovers
overhead and pulsates, which strobes hideously across the iron cross. Devoid of

glittering diamond dagger in her right. Morgfyre, the Legion floats hauntingly
in the air, heralded by a thousand sinister whispers.
You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.
Veonira grins mischievously at Dvyrus.
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "I'll have to try that."
Flashes of beings coalesce in the astral wind then fade quickly from view.
The air shimmers and glitters as the sickly motes around Morgfyre continue to
dance and whirl, twisting the very air around Him and distorting your view of
the metal sphere beyond.
You say, "Is there anything else you think I should see? I think I'll need to
return to Celest soon to compile what I've learned before I forget."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "What else did you wish to
know?"

You are essentially naked, and utterly satiated.
From the clothing that can be seen, you look nondescript.
You are an enemy of: Nil, Nihilists, Kyrian.
Mire smirks.
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "I am sure you know that the Taint as
first experience by the Project Cosmic Hope expedition was different from what
it is today."
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "Ahem, experienced."
Veonira twitches spasmodically.
You nod your head emphatically.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "There is almost more to see
and learn. To claim a day, a month, or even a year is enough would be faulty."
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "I don't believe we have yet answered
your question, how we experience the Taint."
You say, "Aye, perhaps a better question would be, what is the Taint to you?"
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette asks, "First tell us. What is it to
you?"
A wry smile spreads across Bhairan's face.
Morgfyre, the Legion continues to chant softly under His breath, the twisted and
malevolent glow in the air growing brighter and stronger.
A power node glimmers with astral energy.
You say, "To me, the Taint is only an abstraction, gathered from small bits of
information I've read. The only experience I've had with it is defending against
those participating in raids on Celestia and Water."
With a wistful look on His face, Morgfyre touches a power node.
You say, "And an unfortunate death in the Sea of Despair, as I was studying the
creatures there."
The astral node shudders under the Elder God's touch, flashes of energy dancing
across its surface. The node slowly begins to turn a pitch, midnight black
colour, and a dark, oily mist begins to emanate from deep within it.
A stainless steel goat clatters in from the northeast.
A stainless steel goat bites into Bhairan with metallic teeth.
Veonira points her staff at a stainless steel goat and it swells, rapidly
discharging a torrent of poisonous fumes and sharp rocks which engulf his body.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette asks, "Could you elaborate?"
A stainless steel goat bites into Veonira with metallic teeth.
Bhairan wildly jabs a vicious katana at a stainless steel goat. Bhairan stabs
him with a light puncture.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "Ahh, Nil."
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "Yikes."
Muttering words of power, you trace a cobalt blue pentagram in the air that
remains hovering before you, protecting against assault.
A stainless steel goat bites into Bhairan with metallic teeth.
Dvyrus raises a bloody symbol of pain towards a stainless steel goat, and a gout
of black fire slams into his chest.
Veonira points her staff at a stainless steel goat and it swells, rapidly
discharging a torrent of poisonous fumes and sharp rocks which engulf his body.
Veonira has scored a CRITICAL hit!
A stainless steel goat turns purple as the poisonous fumes overcome him and
blood gushes out of his mouth as he collapses to the floor, dead.
A stainless steel goat has been slain by Veonira.
Many golden sovereigns spill from the corpse.
Veonira suddenly scoops up the corpse of a stainless steel goat.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "One moment."
Veonira chuckles long and heartily.
Mire smirks.
Mire mutters and traces a cobalt blue pentagram in the air that remains hovering
before her.
Saklas suddenly scoops up some gold sovereigns.
Mire creates a sparkling cloud and then molds it until it appears like herself.
You say to Dvyrus, "Elaborate on what?"
crystalline power node pushes up from the ground here. Towering above you, this
massive mammoth has a thick, shaggy hide and long yellowed tusks. Master
Sergeant Bhairan Feyranti, the Midnight Drake is here. He wields a vicious
katana in his left hand. Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench is here, shrouded.
She wields a twisted staff in her left hand and an iron shield in her right.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine is here. She wields a glass violin

wields an iron shield in her left hand and a demonic lyre in her right.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus is here. He wields a bloody symbol of pain in
his left hand.
You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.
Swishing its small tail, a wooly mammoth ponderously leaves to the southeast.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Surely you don't think all
of the Taint's glory was contained in merely a few individuals?"
A stainless steel goat clatters in from the southeast.
A stainless steel goat clatters in from the southeast.
Veonira points her staff at a stainless steel goat and it swells, rapidly
discharging a torrent of poisonous fumes and sharp rocks which engulf his body.
Mire gives a garnet vial to Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench.
Veonira takes a drink from a garnet vial.
Veonira thanks Mire profusely.
Dvyrus narrows his eyes and searches the ground with a burning intensity.
Dvyrus picks up the corpse of a stainless steel goat.
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "Apologies."
Veonira put her fingers in her mouth and lets out a high-pitched whistle.
A wooly mammoth trots in with head high.
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "What an inopportune moment to run out
of healing."
Veonira easily vaults onto the back of a wooly mammoth.
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette says, "Well ah, hrm."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Does your city know you are
here?"
You say, "No, indeed not. I didn't mean to claim I had experienced any large
part of it at all."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "I can't see many Celestians
approving of this endeavor."
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "How do you believe the Taint is an
abstraction? I'm not quite sure I understand."
You say, "I was supposed to make a pilgrimage, as I have, to see the Megalith
and speak with those there."
Dvyrus nods his head at Veonira.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "You were assigned to it, you
mean?"
Morgfyre, the Legion chants harshly under His breath, pointing an imperious
finger at you. The air shudders and howls as the aetheric strands twist and
writhe, beginning to slowly draw apart around the node as the dark, shadowy
presence pervading the node grows more distinct.
You say, "It is an abstraction to me, as I've had no real direct experience with
it, aside from those individuals who have killed me."
You blur and slip through time as Mire approaches you.
A reflection of Mire blinks out of existence.
Mire's attack rebounds off your magical shield.
Mire gives a pained sigh.
You say, "Not assigned."
Mire tilts her head curiously.
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "Asked?"
Connoisseur of Discomfort, Dvyrus d'Erlette asks, "So you're essentially saying
it isn't real because you've no real experience with it?"
Master Sergeant Bhairan Feyranti, the Midnight Drake says, "Sounds like glom
talk."
You say, "It is something Celestines are supposed to do, to learn about others
in the Basin, as they progress."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "I think he's saying he
hasn't yet learned enough to comment."
Bhairan smirks.
Saklas d'Murani says, "Ah, he comes of his free will. Not that Celest would have
let him come; they'd rather keep him ignorant and blissful about such things."
You say to Mire, "Yes."
Morgfyre, the Legion lowers His hands and a shimmering ritual circle appears
upon the iron beams in translucent green fire, rotating ethereally around you as
it draws tighter and tighter.
You say, "It is my own free will. I do not believe I've broken any laws by doing
what I've done here."
Saklas d'Murani says, "Of course not."
Saklas flashes you a joyous smile.
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "Of course not, you only seek to learn."
Morgfyre, the Legion says something unintelligible.
Master Sergeant Bhairan Feyranti, the Midnight Drake says, "Let's give credit
where due. He has had more guts than his fellow mates in seeking to learn about
something which they rather keep ignorant about."
Mistress Mire d'Murani, Rhythm of the Engine says, "We can only hope his report
will express facts as they are."
As Capricorn and Aries collide, the astrospheres grind together, connecting and
weighing each other down.
Mire nods her head sagely.
Veonira d'Murani, the Earth Wench says, "Indeed, I have never had the pleasure
of spreading our knowledge to one of Celest prior to this."
Master Sergeant Bhairan Feyranti, the Midnight Drake says, "Question though is,
how far are you willing to go to find the knowledge you seek?"
A voice dripping pure malevolence says, "The ritual is ready to commence."
Stern and solemn, a man's voice says, "Bind him forcefully."
Veonira faces northeast and sharply claps her hands together, the sound of which
is like two bricks being slammed against each other.
The earth erupts and pushes up a massive wall of stone.
Mire's attack rebounds off your magical shield.
Saklas's attack rebounds off your magical shield.

The light whisks you away, unceremoniously dumping you at the feet of Talkan.
The garden of finger flowers.
A rhythmic thrumming saturates the area, drawing attention to a war shrine of
Terentia nearby. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water.
Thrumming loudly, a wild node is planted firmly here, astral energies swirling
around it. Father Talkan, Hand of the Even-Blade is here, shrouded. He wields a
holy symbol of the light in his left hand and a silver scaled shield emblazoned
with crossed blades in his right.
You see exits leading east and southwest.
Talkan takes a long drag off his pipe.
Talkan raises his hand in greeting and says "Hi!"
You give a pained sigh.
You suddenly perceive the vague outline of an aura of rebounding around Talkan.
You stumble as you feel invisible strands of force wrap around you, followed by
a high-pitched thrum.

trying to claw itself open. Thrumming loudly, a wild node is planted firmly

Your soul is flung back to the prime material plane. Slowly, a skeleton forms
from the aether, and muscles appear upon the bones, bubbling up in a frothy
spray of blood. Finally, new skin stretches out and covers your new body, and
you step out from the Pool of Stars.
The Pool of Stars.
This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. The stars twinkle in
the clear night sky. An enormously wide circular pool, as dark as the night sky,
glitters softly between the columns. The resplendent figure of an archangel
rises up from the ground, her golden wings furled protectively over a small
figure cradled in her arms. There are 4 golden retrievers here. A statue of a
cavalier of the Light stands here, memorializing his noble spirit. His form
suffused with soft light, the Keeper of the Pool of Stars stands here
attentively. There are 4 cavaliers of the Light here. An obsidian eye sigil is
here. A noble pegasus stamps one reflective hoof, his gossamer wings flipping
impatiently. A white and brown speckled pony grazes nearby. Lined with holy
fire, a celestial archangel stands loftily on a floating cloud, regarding you
with her sympathetic eyes of light. Blessed Daruin, Seeker of The Light is here.
He wields a beryl encrusted coral wand in his left hand. Postulant Meliana
Dekoven, Missionary of Light is here. She wields a glowing powerstone in her
left hand. Sir Raikogen Tanestra, Talon of the Dove is here. He wields a steel
inquisitor rapier in each hand. Lysandus is here. He wields the Rosewood Lute of
Celestial Rhapsody in his left hand.
You see exits leading north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west,
northwest, and up (open door).
Talkan tells you, "Go to celestia."
The Pool of Stars flares with chromatic colours, as Talkan steps out of it,
looking remarkably fresh and vitalized.
(Celest): Genevieve (from Celestia, Plane of Light) says, "Ixion and Athana on
Astral."
The Pool of Stars suddenly begins to froth violently, expelling a dazed and
confused Meprion from within its churning depths. As the Pool of Stars calms
itself, skeins of light drip from Meprion like liquid and just as quickly
dissipate.
(Celest): You say, "I'm at the pool."
(Celest): Genevieve (from Celestia, Plane of Light) says, "Cancer."
Talkan cries aloud his rejection of divine grace.

what Veonira said after I escaped."
Kaalak blinks.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Creslin, this must have been

You say, "I intend to spend some time on Celestia."
Kaalak ponders the situation.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Ah. This is now clear."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "And I suspect Lady Veonira is Lord

the end."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Silence is the hook for answers."
You say, "I am just glad I was summoned away, and died before they could finish
attempting to summon me back."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Regardless Creslin, you put yourself
in harm's way and found out some very useful information. Because of the nature
of this information I will have to think hard on it before we distribute it."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "This could lead to panic in the city
if not carefully treated."
You say, "I would have found the ability to kill myself very handy when bound
with them, though..."
You nod your head emphatically.
You say, "That is why I've only spoken to you."
You say, "I'm not prepared to share generally what happened to me on Astral."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Thank you. I will consider who I
speak to about this."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Creslin I have to warn you, because
of this situation, some in the city MAY see you as Tainted and attempt to kill
you."
You say, "I know."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Given zealous attitudes at the
moment."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "But they are wrong."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Enough time for questions. Lets get
provisions and go to Celestia."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "If you are ready."
You nod your head emphatically.
You say, "The sooner the better."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Yes...hmm."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Hmm. Creslin do you have a book?"
You say, "I have my journal, and a booklet I'm writing something in."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Good. We may need those. Do you have
a bell? Or candel on you?"
Kaalak sticks his tongue out and says 'Ack.'
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Candle."
You say, "No."
Kaalak nods his head emphatically.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Creslin, can you lead me to the
nearest market? My sight is failing me."
Kaalak begins to follow you.
You open the walnut door to the out.
You get up off a leather chair.
Kaalak follows you out.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Good. Lets go to Celestia and the
Pool of Stars there."
You nod your head emphatically.
You place your hands on the Pool of Stars and find the link to the cosmic plane.
Pulsating energy flares throughout your field of vision, and you find yourself
tumbling through the aether pathways.
Kaalak follows you ether.
Pool of Stars.
This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Soft, flowing sands
surround the Pool of Stars, pale as freshly fallen snow. A lonely desert palm
grows beside the pool, casting shadows upon its magical waters. Small indigenous
rocks are scattered around the base of the pool, glistening with flecks of mica
and quartz. A powerful aura of peace and tranquility hangs in the air here,
penetrating the soul of any traveller who passes through. Beside the pool, a
creosote bush blooming in beautiful yellow flowers grows. Inside the bush, a
nest of desert insects chirps, filling the peaceful locale with the sound of
life. An enormously wide circular pool, as dark as the night sky, glitters
softly under the luminous sky. An imposing sword of radiant white metal has been
driven deep into the ground in a silent statement of intent. There are 20
archons of Eternal Light here. Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge is here. He
wields a holy symbol of the light in his left hand and an orc bone wand in his
right.
You see a single exit leading down.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Now Creslin, I believe it would be
wise to repeat your oaths to reaffirm your Faith."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "And connection to the Light."
You nod your head emphatically.
(Celestines): Terentia says, "Alodia, one of the Twelve was being rather
dastardly this month. Do see to it that your Celestines are more careful when
regarding the Taint."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "That you took upon your anointment."
(Celestines): Terentia says, "I'd rather not see whatever it was that the Blob
was up to, come to fruition."
(Celestines): A beatific cherub says, "Celestia stands against a tide of
darkness!"
The breathy song of an angelic choir fills the air, as a beam of white light
descends from the heavens upon which travels a celestial archangel who bows to
you in answer to your call.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Drat."
Communing with the Holy Supernals, you reach out and channel the powers of the
Light into a celestial archangel.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Our enemies may try and stop you."
You make a subtle gesture towards your angelic companion, cloaking it from
prying eyes.
(Celestines): A divine deva says, "Infidels have invaded Celestia!"
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says to you, "Quickly. We must go to
Elohora. Now."
(Celest): Genevieve (from the Prime Material Plane) says, "Celestia under
attack."
Before the Throne of Brilliance.
This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. A comforting feeling
of privacy pervades the area. There are 2 celestial archangels here. The
effulgence of Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, radiates out from her
incandescent body in waves of scintillating brilliance.
There are no obvious exits.
You bow respectfully to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light laughs, sending ripples of soft light
twirling in the air.
(Celestines): A beatific cherub says, "By the Light! Celestia is under attack at
the sands of Celestia!'"
(Celestines): Genevieve says, "Creslin, Kaalak, come to the pool."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge trembles, covering himself with his black
cloak.
(Celestines): A beatific cherub says, "Infidels have invaded Celestia!"

An exhilarating choir of angels reverberates throughout the plane, filling the

You say to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, "I wandered too far in my search

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Welcome, child..."
Kaalak bows respectfully to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles radiantly and places a hand upon

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles softly.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "The Light welcomes all, and hurts

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Creslin, child, you are troubled by

You nod your head at Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light raises a hand and releases a soft glow that

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles softly.
An exhilarating choir of angels reverberates throughout the plane, filling the
air with warmth and blessing.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "You do not require such, but if you
seek it, you have it. You embody the Light in your venture, seeking to

their present state and those who come before them do not understand the
significance. Creslin, you remain a child of the Light, and rightfully so."
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Walk with our blessings, child."
The echoes of giggling cherubs surround you, making you smile with happiness.
You say to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, "I am heartened by your words.
Thank you."
You bow respectfully to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles radiantly and places a hand upon your

In a stoic but old, cracking voice, Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says to
you, "Let us return to the Pool Creslin. The Lady has said your Faith has
purified you. We must continue to defend Celestia and prepare to repel the
invaders."
You nod your head emphatically.

The Pool of Stars suddenly flares with pulsating energy as Genevieve steps
through.

Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Anyway, please continue."

Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "I can understand, Creslin. The Taint

You say, "Veonira suggested I see the Megalith on Astral, which concerned me,
but given their actions thus far, I didn't think too concerning."
Kaalak ponders the situation.
You say, "I was following Mire, she led me there before I'd realized we'd left

You say, "They then attacked me, binding me."
You say, "And Morgfyre ordered them to not kill me, but keep me bound."
You say, "At that point, I called for help and Talkan and Raikogen came and
helped me escape."
You say, "I know now that Morgfyre was going to perform a ritual on me, from
what Veonira said after I escaped."
Kaalak blinks.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Creslin, this must have been
terrifying."
You say, "She has been trying to convince me since to return and allow Morgfyre
to cast the Illusion of the Taint over me, so that I can 'safely' experience it.
Is it possible to forcefully Taint someone?"
You say, "Yes, yes it was."
You say, "I'm not leaving Celest for awhile."
Morgfyre's main Priest, beneath Visaeris. Yes. It now makes sense."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Hmm. Perhaps a rite of purifcation
would set your mind at ease?"
You say, "Do you know what they were attempting?"
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "I have never heard ot such a thing."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Let me consider this a moment."

You recall that Veonira told you:
"We have foolishly attempted to taint in the past, and you are too young to
recall, but it led almost to our own destruction."
You say, "Is there a way to be sure I'm whole and untouched?"
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Possibly."
A pulsing white glow forms in the air, and Terentia emerges from within it.
You bow respectfully to Terentia.
Kaalak bows respectfully to Terentia.
Inside the Celestines' administration office.
A rhythmic thrumming saturates the area, drawing attention to a war shrine of
Terentia nearby. Deep thick carpet covers the floor, in a thick pelt of soft,
deep blue fibres. Near the door is a tall floor standing vase, filled with tall
cut flowers, each standing as tall a man. The entire north wall, from ceiling to
floor is a mosaic in coloured glass, depicting in fine detail, the Sacrifice of
Marilynth during the Taint Wars. Numerous tall, fat candles in hefty brass
bases, light the room from different angles. A comfortable leather chair rests
here. An elegant chair carved of black onyx sits here. A sigil in the shape of a
small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A painting of Zyaran, the Midnight
Eagle is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall. Terentia, the Even Bladed stands
here, radiating a sense of austerity. She wields Judgement in Her left hand.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge is here, shrouded. He wields a holy symbol
of the light in his left hand and an orc bone wand in his right.
You see a single exit leading out (closed door).
Terentia gives a bottle of eisweinn to Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge.
Terentia gives a bottle to Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge.
Terentia inclines Her head politely to you.
Terentia sniffs you, trying to decipher just what that smell emanating from you
is.
You blink.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "I was to suggest Lady Elohora."
Terentia, the Even Bladed says to you, "Do stay away from that Blob, Creslin."
You nod your head emphatically.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says to you, "I've no fancy in raising up to hack and
slash at Him, puerile child that He is."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge trembles in the divine radience.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "Rather grumpy that I banished Him, He is.."
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "So now He's trying to attack those that I watch
over."
Terentia looks about Herself suspiciously.
Terentia smiles wryly at Kaalak.
Kaalak coughs softly.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says to Kaalak, "You're trembling, Kaalak."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "A-a-all of the Divine Spark have a
majesty ..."
Terentia peers about Herself unscrupulously.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "Not the Twelve."
Terentia spits on the ground in disgust.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "Nearly destroyed Us, They did."
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "And if We'd failed, no mortal would exist."
Terentia gives a pained sigh.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge carefully sips the bottle.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says to you, "I'd suggest visiting Elohora. The
Half-formed that Celest worship have a lovely way with the Taint."
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "You'll either die, or not."
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "Let's hope for the latter."
Terentia is suddenly surrounded by an aura of translucent divine fire.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says to Terentia, "Thank you L-l-lady."
A white seagull glides in on a salty wind, drops a letter into Kaalak's hands,
then majestically soars away.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says to Kaalak, "And in the future, do remember.."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "And I will die of paperwork it
seems."
Kaalak tilts his head and listens intently to Terentia.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "Oh. Nevermind."
Terentia smiles wryly at Kaalak.
Kaalak rants and raves like a madman, directing his curses at an elegant white
letter.
Terentia, the Even Bladed says, "Walk Well, Kaalak, Creslin..."
Kaalak bows respectfully to Terentia.
You say, "Thank you, Lady."
You bow respectfully to Terentia.
Terentia fades into an explosion of white light, a lingering voice, "..I'll be
watching..."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Lady Terentia, the whisky is divine.
Very smooth, yet with a bite."
Inside the Celestines' administration office.

You see a single exit leading out (closed door).
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Creslin?"
You nod your head emphatically.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "I have a few more questions for you
before we attempt this procedure."
You nod your head emphatically.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Hmm. What did Lord Morgfyre say to
you. Was he taunting? Anything could give a hint of what was to come. And what
did Lady Veonira say? And when did you know exactly what their objective was?"
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "And by exactly, where were you
standing? On prime or in astral?"
You say, "His comments were mostly taunting, commenting on my fins and dress, my
responses."
You say, "I don't remember any indication that He was doing anything other than
making fun for His amusement until on Astral."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Lord Morgyre is a subtle creature as
are His servants it seems..."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Lord Morgfyre rather. ..this whisky
has a delayed kick."
You say, "I had asked Mire and Dvyrus how they experienced the Taint at one
point, when he was telling me about the demon lords, which is when Veonira
stepped in, to poke fun at my responses about the Taint from my perspective."
Kaalak's exhausted mind can stay awake no longer, and he falls into a deep
sleep.
Kaalak stands up and stretches his arms out wide.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "Last question. I need a timeline for
months in this. This will allow me to deduce a few things."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "When did Veonira appear from the time
you entered Magnagora? When did Lord Morgfyre?"
You say, "It all happened in the last several days, a total of maybe 4 from when
I was on the highway leaving Glomdoring."
You say, "It was not planned on my part, I'd only decided to the do pilgrimages
earlier this month."
You say, "Mire was the first person I saw from Magnagora listed in the help
magnagora scroll present."
You say, "I was purposely not offering very much while listening to them, for
fear of saying something to insult or anger, and I wanted them to keep telling
me about the history and their beliefs."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "That is wise. Open them up."
You say, "That might have made me seem more pliable to them, though, and led to

You kneel before Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, swearing your allegiance to

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light raises a hand and releases a soft glow that
touches your heart and fills you with joy.
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge's legs spasm.
(Celestines): A beatific cherub says, "May the Light have mercy on us! We're
under attack in the holy realm!"
An exhilarating choir of angels reverberates throughout the plane, filling the
air with warmth and blessing.
You say to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, "I wandered too far in my search
of knowledge. I came too close to that which we oppose and fight, to our lives'
end. Forgive me for my misjudgement of the wiles of Taint, Lady Elohora, I

Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says to you, "Ask for forgiveness again. The

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light purses her lips, deep in thought as she
contemplates you.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Welcome, child..."
Kaalak bows respectfully to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles radiantly and places a hand upon
Kaalak's brow.
You say to Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, "I beseech your forgiveness,
dearest Lady. I reached too far in my search for knowledge. I pray that I did

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles softly at you.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Forgiveness is not what you need,
child. There is nothing to forgive when your heart remains pure."
Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge gives Creslin a faint smile.
You flash Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light a joyous smile.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light raises a hand and releases a soft glow that
touches your heart and fills you with joy.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Why do you stand so far, Merciful

"Your radiance has grown over the years, Lady Elohora."

"And I still need my 'sight' to scribe by. For service to Your Will."
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light smiles softly.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "The Light welcomes all, and hurts

Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Creslin, child, you are troubled by
this venture?"

You embody the Light in your venture, seeking to
understand, in order to oppose it. The once Holy Emanations are tormented in
their present state and those who come before them do not understand the
significance.

You embrace Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light with great ardour.
Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light says, "Go with my blessings, child. And
remember that the Light will always guide you."
As you embrace Elohora, Lady of the Eternal Light, her purity and grace surround

you find yourself before the Pool of Stars, still feeling blessed.

Exorcist Kaalak, The Merciful Judge says, "To Cresln You have been honoured."
You nod your head emphatically.
You say, "I have much to consider, and tomes I could write."

Much thanks to everyone for being so nice! And especially to Talkan and Raikogen (Prince at the time) for rescuing me (and dying), and still not yelling at me, even though I was entirely inept at being a good rescuee at the time.

Come to think of it, this happened the day before I started playing Lusternia. Crazy.

Think there's a chance Glomdoring would be able to do this with a few Seren novices?
No, I didn't think so.
Excellent player-run 'event', though!

It actually has happened, though without the "Divine Intervention" bit (as no player can really control that).

Wow. Yeah I'm surprised you remember this Creslin. That was fun.
By the way, just as a note if you are an elected official (GM, GA, Champ, Order Head) and there is a divine around that isn't busy sometimes you can make things happen.

Epic log, though I was honestly wondering why Creslin didn't find it suspicious that everyone was pretending nothing was going on while Morgfyre was working his magic.
Also, now since Kaalak bumped this post, I realize I'm reading it just after Morgfyre's left us.

Well, by that point it was long, long into this (the total thing was several hours) and I had gotten disconnected somewhere near going to astral (I think I edited that out.) I was mostly concentrating on the conversation at that point, too.
I had started being concerned about the direction things were taking when they wanted to go to astral, because it was kind of out of the blue, but I let myself be talked into it. What happened was never anything I could have considered possible, though.
