Helloooo, I was able to pop in for a bit before heading back out. Gonna UNVOTE: THUL since I don't want to risk that vengeance possibility, especially if it isn't random. I really don't know what to make of Lorick and Revan. On the one hand, Lorick has a history of being scum, and that is kinda stuck in my head. But on the other hand, that means nothing in this game if the roles are random. As for Revan, if there is a 2-man mason group, odds are one of the group has either an investigate or a kill power, otherwise, they're just a couple guys that talk to eachother. Reason I think this is because in Bali's game, I was a vanilla mason paired up with an investigator. At this point I'm going to ignore that nagging little voice that is telling me those two are scum, and just believe them for now.

As for OkieSakana, I'm wondering who he is based on that Blub Blub thing he keeps doing. I think he genuinely has a post restriction, since he is new and wouldn't be likely to pull a Shiri and just make that up.

And Thul, I just don't like the idea of a bunch of people making targets of them selves by being guilted into a Day 1 mass claim. Make them claim through lynch votes instead. And with that, I am off, I will vote someone new when I get back later.

First, I'm assuming Sakana is a she. If not, then I apologize and I'll get it right in the future. Second, if you feel that I misinterpreted any of your posts, feel free to correct me. I wanted an outline of your thought patterns thus far, and not only would people probably not actually read everything anyway, but I ran out of quote boxes for this post.

A couple things I want to point out. She's mentioned twice that she knows very little about the gods. While it's probably just her acting weird because of the fact that her name means fish, she could also be using a rather hamhanded technique of reinforcing the concept that she isn't familiar enough with the gods to know that Trillialial becomes Trill, and is obviously not a fish. But either way, she's been fairly assertive of how little she knows, which could be read as how unlikely she would be able to fake a nameclaim.

Another thing is that her opinions oscillate faster than a hooker's shower head. First she wants to kill Daganev to move the day along. Then she's pretty sure Revan is scum. She reinforces this in another post. In the next post that has anything relevant to the game, she's already sure that Revan and Lorick are townies, and lynching me will cement this in her mind.

She never has a valid reason for voting for anyone. Her vote for me was the closest she's come, and she was basically regurgitating sentiments various people were already expressing.

Just something to consider.

I was wondering how long it would take some one to bring up the blub blub. I like the noise as Okie= big and sakana= fish in japanese and I do indeed love fishies ^.^ sooooo being the tard I am I say blub in blue like the water.

If anyone has any opinions about Req, I would like to hear them. Also, if anyone has any reasons they would like to put forth about why not to vote for him, I'd like to hear them.

I'd still like clarification from you, by the way.

Ookii is actually "big" in Japanese. Note the "i" syllable at the end, denoting it as a non-"-na" adjective, causing it to appear as "ooki" when referring to an object instead of describing it. Kore wa ooki sakana desu = This is a big fish. Kono sakana wa ookii desu = This fish is big.

You make a solid argument of why I am a crazy. I like your wording but in reality it is still day 1 and we are on close to page 20! I feel as this day has gone on and things have been said that we have made some real progress and so my votes have been slowly flipflopping around on bandwagons that were starting to slowly forming opinions of who is who and I am dead set until something proves you to be more than a scummy vig or a mafia cult thing. So my vote sticks on you and shall stay on you. I care not if you all decide to lynch me as my death will only bring some glares and stares back upon the people I suspect and if I can bring about the decline of one baddie or one of the scummiest sounding vigilantes I have ever heard then I am fine with that.

... if you really wanted to play, you should have signed up! At this point, you've made a few interjections that invite debate, and really should be things brought up / discussed by those who are participating (not spectators / dead folks). Though it is good to see the interest-- perhaps sign up as a replacement for an inactive, and keep your comments in case that happens?

If it really matters, I'll give one. Right now, it doesn't. If there are more members of the mason group, I don't want to reveal them for no reason, especially considering they themselves haven't come forth. And, if our group is really a two man, it stands to reason cloaking our numbers can confuse the mafia into making an inaccurate claim should they choose a similiar path.

I'll be honest, I don't know for certain you aren't mafia. You've made mention of having knowledge of masons, but I'd rather not give out more information of the current set up until a similiar claim comes up as well, at which time I can either confirm it or disprove it.

I had two years of japanese class forgive my raw use of the language and mispelling. I failed the 2nd year -.- I like the language but I only know smatterings and bits and peices but I have used sakana as my name for so many things now that it is habit. Well, since it "doesn't matter," I guess I need to retract my support for your claim. And, if I can't believe your claim, then Revan's first on my list.

I feel that I have placed my neck out as far as I can in my believes so I haven't much to say other than my DAY 1 SUSPICIONS of requiem so I could very easily still be wrong but through the days arguements and what not I feel like I am justified to distrust him more than any random vote I might have thrown about.

Also I have a side note to say any one who is defending requiem deserves a thorough perusing if he dies and is mafia even the smallest defense because a smart mafia will back outta saving their own if it is apparent he is getting lynched and even help as lorrick said LIGHT their PYRE

Currently, it doesn't. I did read your calls for a count, which to be honest, if confirmed one way or another, how would that help the town? It doesn't, but it does give the mafia a guideline of what to expect and how to claim themselves.

As a side note we have spent a large amount of time and debate on day 1 about 20 pages of chatter where as the entire care bear game only went on for 48 pages.

I went out of my way to convince people to back off of Revan because I believed your roleclaim, based on its mechanics. Okie pointed out that you did not actually state how large it was, something I should have noticed but did not. It was something I pulled out myself based on my own situation, and I think you'll note that I claimed Tae (as well as talking about Bollikin) quite some time before you even mentioned your mason group.

I did leave my breadcrumbs, and though I haven't identified Bollikin, it would be pretty stupid for anyone but the real one to claim it now.

I've also given out the mechanics for my situation, used as support for your own.

Frankly, the only reason I can see for you hiding it is because you want the flexibility to claim one way or the other (or don't want to pin yourself down), because mechanics are already out there.

Man, Thul's roleclaim annoys the hell out of me. I could believe Rika just ran out of logical gods to give these powers to (and didn't go for Orlachmar/death domoth because he was bagged for the taint side) but firstly, Maylea doesn't "kill people with seeds", whatever that means, and secondly he has the "don't try and nightkill me" typical go-to scum claim (though it can be legit too, of course.)

This role feels so weird alongside my own fairly logical role and the claimed and fairly logical Amberle + Meridian useless mason pair that I'm going to keep my vote on Thul for the time being (and because I only see Xenthos having unvoted) unless someone else comes up who needs additional pressure. I can't think why Thul wouldn't come up with a better roleclaim since he's not that dumb, so that is sticking out, but I can't get rid of this feeling.

I have it in me to believe Revan/Lorick for now so I don't think I'll be voting for them yet, but Revan's unhelpfulness "oh noes it's an autorant" reminds me so much of The Choke Defence () that he needs to keep quiet and get back in line anyway.
