Huh, well if that's the case I guess we should just lynch her. It seems like she lurking in the hopes that we decide to move on to someone else. She didn't even roleclaim, did she? We gave her a good while and she's had ample oppurtunity to defend herself in anyway :/

All righty then. I'm holding my vote until Saaga roleclaims. I've really been trying to make an educated decision and Revan and Thul are on my big suspicion list right now, but I don't feel like I have enough to vote for them and I want to wait for what the investigator says as they're obvious for it now. Saaga's lurkiness and not postingness is really really really grating on me, so I'm willing to take the final necessary vote if need be.

My suspicion on Revan is slightly assuaged by the Mason claim, as it's easily investigated. Thul for the mass roleclaim idea, which I thought was bad, but didn't quite have the logic together at the time to make a proper post. I've been trying to gather as much information on how to play this game and happened across a lot of info that mega roleclaims at the beginning usually result in Very Bad Things for the Town.

As for the way this game looks and the setting, I'm wagering we have a full array of SK/Cult/Scum to make our lives a pain in the neck IF that Maylea roleclaim and power are accurate. I think a power of that magnitude could only serve to cut down a bloated list of NKers.

How can one get posting restrictions on this board? I thought to remove those, all one had to do was make a post in the introduction thread thingy at the top. It seems pretty simple to fix, and I know I don't have them... At least I think I don't.

What happens when we reach the deadline? Does the person with the most votes die or is that a No Lynch?

So, really, instead of anyone risking seeming scummy (because Saaga hasn't roleclaimed or responded), nay-say voters are waiting for Rika do to the dirty deed of killing Saaga instead of being a ninja-lyncher.

Is it possible that Saaga can't post, like if some kind of scummy ability was activated on her?

I can't imagine any moderator would EVER make that kind of ability, simply because it leads to things exactly like this. Inevitably. That, and Saaga has posted a few times.

Well yeah. There are abilities like that, but they usually give us some sort of notice so we don't think they're just lurking and they usually happen during the Night. Like a Kidnapping ability or something.

Also, no, I doubt it's a skill because it's Day 1 and I didn't see anything that looks like a Syntax to activate a day power.

Who is voting for Saaga vs. who isn't voting for Saaga. If she really was scum, how likely is it that one of the 9 who are currently voting for her is actually a mafia too, and would willingly sacrificing her in order to save face and avoid future suspicion? And if she isn't scum, this again seems like a very convenient train to get on.

Though at the same time Saaga hasn't been providing us with much, so if she does turn out to be town then she's like the 'sacrifice' to move the game onward..

That's a smart analysis, but ruling out is never an entirely complete tactic. Clever scum can know when a bandwagon's getting too much momentum to stop/redirect, so it helps to have wider view than that. Also consider that Saaga is actually a pretty viable target right now, personally lurking is something that annoys me to no end.

Calling her a sacrifice more implies that we know (or strongly suspect) she's Town and are lynching her anyways, just to move forward, which isn't the case right now. She hasn't defended herself in the least. It's possible she's a jester, but I doubt that.

There is always the chance that she's not scum. Which would really suck, to say that least. But if being mistaken for scum bothered her, surely she would have come and said something by now, right?

I'll feel really bad if she isn't part of the mafia. But at least we wouldn't have a gajillion RL days long mafia-game day 1.

As of right now, her vote on Thul even seems like an empty vote... as in, she voted, but that's all she's done, and she isn't even changing her vote with her opinion, because as far as we know, the only opinion she has is that she doesn't care about what happens to her.

Which may or may not be true. There may be some legitimate (yet hard to imagine) reason for her to post in other threads on the forum and be on the forums every now and then while completely avoiding a post on here even to say "I'm sorry guys, I've been really busy" or something of the sort, and for her to not get herself replaced by someone else.

But, until I see such reason, she has been mod-poked by Rika, and Rika said that she's been kind of busy.

For the record, the deadline is 14 and a half hours away.

Even if no one adds on their votes, it looks like Saaga is going to end up lynched, indefinitely.
