I actually went and looked up Eventru, since I had no idea who he was. I wonder if Shou gets to stop someone from talking during the day? If he actually has a post restriction--which keeping in mind his latest post, while reading the rest of what he's said Day 2 he hasn't necessarily contradicted--then he wouldn't be able to confirm this either, but he did just mention the mad scientist, which is a similar role. I think we should give it a day or two in real time to give everyone a chance to speak, and then go after whoever hasn't said anything.

@Rika: Giving the scum the ability to mute people and essentially get them lynched during the day would make baby Judas very sad.

Also, in light of the fact that Shou hasn't actually lied, I'm going to change my vote. He uses the term "roleclaim" rather ambiguously to refer to his nameclaim, which was what was throwing me off.

I've actually never really had a reason to suspect you. I just figured I'd throw it out there, since you appear to be the other two-man Mason group. So while you don't suspect him, your role doesn't directly say anything to the effect of "You and Bollikin believe in freedom, fight against the twelve and the soulless, and win with the elder gods"?

I have no plans to claim for Bolly at this point, but really, have you never read the histories? This role comes with ready-made amusement factor built into it (the whole Bolly/Tae interaction), so I'm enjoying it. Don't rain on my little parade!

Voting for Saaga doesn't prove anything at this point (assuming she was actually a SerialKiller with no friends, like it implied). That would be the "right choice" vote for both Town and Scum (group-scum because it's "not one of us and easily lynchable," town because it was a scum.) And you cannot say you were right about Shou until we've actually got it mechanically confirmed. It is still possible that he's lying.

I call dibs on the next game. Or if someone else was already making it (I recall something about a real life pantheon theme) then the next one.

The lovers theory intrigues me, especially with two sets of pairs that we know of. I've never heard of that kind of role, but I don't often go reading about mafia games (probably should, but I just like playing ).

So with lovers, if one dies, the other suicides? Is that true all the time? Wouldn't that mean if we were wrong about the alignment of one, we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot TWICE? I suppose the possibility of one lover being scum and the other being town is there as well, but...bleh, I don't know. I still don't trust Lorick, and Revan has been mighty quiet.

I'm not feeling the Shou bandwagon still.

If Shou is mafia, I'd logically declude the only person defending Shou is a member of the mafia.

Well, in this case, we have the excoriwhatsit, that doesn't work instantly (but takes time). It's possible that if it is the recruitment mechanic, it takes the person out for a day while it changes them, and then returns them the day after. If there's no visible change (or sign in their death-scene), we'd never catch on until we actually took out the recruiter.

Alternatively, it could be Xyl's ability to hide for a day... or Xyl was utterly consumed by something, leaving absolutely no traces behind.
