Oh no, I voted Bael to -one- vote away. yep, must be scum
Unknown2008-08-08 00:43:38
Er I see where the problem is now. Sorry, I never meant to say I could roleclaim, it would have been more appropriate to -nameclaim, which I was thinking was the same thing all this time

Given that it lets anyone pull an Arix... it is often a pretty bad decision, yes.
Shiri2008-08-08 00:50:04
I like Shou's roleclaim better now someone way too many pages ago suggested the idea he is such an ostrich he can't talk about being a soulless-killer or something of the sort. It may even be the case that we have a vig: the Soulless scoff our bodies (Serella) but some tard vig/SK nailed me last night, leaving a corpse for Silvanus to rezz.
Unvote Shou.
Vote: Zetsu cause work or otherwise I haven't seen him actually playing the game or being productive.
As for Revan voting Bael up to one vote, yes it's a bad idea, but putting people in vote range isn't really scummy and getting overly paranoid about it is unhelpful.

Oh, and while I do not totally disbelieve the lover's scenario I don't think it could apply to Revan/Lorick. The only Soulless-friends in the histories were scum-side (then again we do have slightly out of synch roles...bah.)

They don't have to be soulless to be scum. They could just be traitors, like maybe a Lisarea Fain duo.
The possibilities are really endless.
So how long do we give Bael to talk?

Zetsu's next on my list of "vote to force them to PLAY THE GAME", though, others have said Zetsu has work.

I forgot about Lisaera and Fain. Damn. Ok, you're right, Lorick and Revan are still in it (and they were kind of in it anyway on the basis that they could have been pulling a super-risky mafia stall tactic.)
However it matters much less if we kill a random mason than if we kill whatever Eventru might be - in fact, killing one mason proves the other. So we shouldn't stall forever on them just because we don't know, if it comes up again!
Myrkr: Well, if he has work...fine, but he's still not playing! Maybe Bael has work too and that's why he's not playing. Or Saaga. The end result is the same and we need active people so we can assess them better.

It'd be interesting if this turned into a game of "lynch off the inactives".

No, it would be boring.
Unknown2008-08-08 01:29:25
I would have to say requiem brings up a good point for his suspicions in such a manner I never thought he could do. I am almost completely torn now in my choices -.- as is I will have to unvote him and think very hard on everything again. Unvote: Requiem and just cause you all loves it

Yep. Ideally lynching inactives will be kept to a minimum as people REFRAIN FROM BEING INACTIVE. Eventually we'll get stronger leads too, like if I catch a scum.
It would be nice if the mafia killed off the hidey people in times like this too, but it's a worse strategy for them so they don't seem to much. Meh.
Daganev2008-08-08 01:46:07
Bael was alot more active than this on the first day...
BAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL WHERE ARE YOU????

Alright, first off, do you people not remember the "We are united in a struggle against the Twelve and the Soulless" from before? Revan is completely town, I know that for certain and because of this was the only reason I would ever put my neck on the line in a mafia game.
People trying to get the train going on Revan are my prime targets right now. Req puts forth this "lovers" idea and they jump on a bandwagon because of it, which doesn't make sense considering if it were true that would mean lynch = 2 townie deaths plus two night kills. Obvious scum. The fact they let Req pull them around by the nose and the ease in which the votes were acquired only makes it more obvious who they are.
The reason the one disappeared as most likely the Soulless mafia killing with a Cleaner, since they would most likely have that role over the Twelve. For those that don't know, a Cleaner is a person who masks the roles of the people they kill. I'm very convinced we do not have a cult in this game, especially considering two mafia groups + sk + cult would be overkill.
All that said, I'm going for the obvious of obvious here, Myrkr is most likely mafia as well, but Req is leading so...
Vote : Req
I encourage everyone else to go after the obvious scum rather than lurkers. We have enough info as is, we can come back to them later.

Also, help me out Revan. He isn't going to give up until we are dead.
Daganev2008-08-08 02:48:04
And what happens if we lynch Req and he turns out to be town, does that mean you are scum?
Lorick2008-08-08 02:49:37
I don't plan on a lynch without a roleclaim, but that would be course for par in this sort of game.

And just how did you come to this conclusion?
Most all of my votes have been, "Hey, Wake Up, Are You Alive?" votes.
When Revan popped up, I unvoted.
When Bael pops up and says something (worthwhile), I'll unvote.
I fail to see the scumminess in this.
