I'm suspicious of Revan for miscellaneous jackass behavior, general lack of helpfulness, dubious value of the Mason defense, and most especially last night's ninja lynch of Bael. There's the possibility that it might have been accidental. But if most of our roles link to ability, I could quite easily see Meridian having a double vote (or Fain, for that matter,) and if that's correct... well, he frigging ninja-lynched Bael on purpose.

I'm going to wait and see, though... I hope Shiri looked into one of the two after that little mess.

Bright side: if the Traitors are killers, it means we're not in a cult game, and it means they're somehow ineffective. Frigging huzzah.

Just a heads up: I might not be around too often this weekend, but I'll try and poke my head in at least once every 24 hours.

Hello everyone, I'm back! Thankfully I wasn't kidnapped by a Soulless or anything of that sort. My ability as Xyl is to RESEARCH ON XION. I can do this one time during the night, but the following day I won't be able to speak or do anything the dead can't do. I received the following unhelpful information from my research (thank you random info generator ): Thul is Maylea, Bloom of Serenity and requiem is Orlachmar, Bearer of the Excoroperditio. Whether requiem is scum or not remains to be seen.

I will also be leaving for the beach in a few days, so feel free to find me a replacement.

Well, that's annoying. At least we -know- for sure that Thul and requiem are who they say they are. I wonder if Shiri has any useful info for us. Also, I bet that Zetsu made Shiri armour already. At least I hope so.

Eldritch is seeming a bit suspicious to me at the moment, as is Lorick.

...that's... either amazingly or conveniently unhelpful, Serella. Leaning towards epic-grade bad luck at the moment, though. Odd that you'd have something like that with Shiri/Keph around, but I guess this is one of those No Vanilla Roles games.

Dag, it's been established that there are multiple scumgroups. Revan (and by extension, Lorick) could be Traitors (it'd be funny as hell if Meridian was a Traitor,) so it's not a case of betraying one of their own. On the other hand, Bael wasn't particularly present in the game, so they could've just as easily decided to toss one of their own in front of a train in order to make themselves look innocent. I've done that before when I was scum. Someone voting to lynch scum is not a good indicator of innocence at all.

I do hope shiri gets on soon and throws down the investigative pipe and smokes heartily from it like sherlock holmes.
I would also like to point out that none of us have any proof who was the double voter could have been any one. Hell for all we know it was the first guy to vote but I doubt it. I have a feeling it was some one near the middle/end of the vote tree just laying in his hidden double vote to get a silent ninja lynch if people like revan or almost me jumping on to make it 1 aways. Yeah I almost jumped on to make bael speak but mid typing I went check my anime site and when I came back I reloaded and saw that revan had already voted.

Good point about serella, she could have made up her role. why exactly would investigating xion only give her that info?

Unfortunately my investigation whiffed: I was getting huge scum tells from Xenthos' "invisible bollikin", more so than Revan and his aggro, but he was telling the truth, and the person he claims is bollikin is proven innocent too. If bollikin doesn't claim we can assume it's because it's a random half-superpowered-mason-group and he has something useful to hide; if he does, that's ok, we have another townie.

This means our voting block is: Thul, Shiri, Xenthos, Silvanus, _bollikin_, MAAAAAYBE req.

I WOULD disbelieve Serella and her Xyl stuff immediately because that is one hella useless run of numbers but she claimed Xyl before this all came up, so I'm now unsure. I don't think lynching her is a priority.

Naturally, we now need to go ONLY to 2 votes left before lynching anyone since we have a ninja double voter here somewhere. I don't think I'll call Revan out for borking it yesterday but you guys might disagree.

I bet Atropos has a limited kill condition of some kind.

Actually, now that you mention this...no, everyone knows the Fates are seperate, so it could easily have gone wrong. And we DO have a mason group already. AND the ninja lynch...hrm. It could well have been an accident, but it could be a case of Clotho: nightkill immune, Lachesis: double vote - ...wait a minute, that doesn't make sense, Revan wouldn't ninja lynch Bael, that's retarded.

Revan and Lorick aren't fates.

Well, so far going after the inactives has been good for us. Do we have enough info to suspect anyone of being scum? I guess we can look at people who have supported / defended Bael, or people who did not vote for Bael.

People have been after EldritchExMachina, and I'd like to get a really clear run-through of why if anyone wants to bother with that.

Right now we have Shayle and Eldritch as the least talkative. (and I guess Serella, but she wasn't allowed to talk for a day, and I think Serella is being replaced?)

Hey, I told you so. It's not an invisible Bollikin, just one who doesn't want to claim. For no apparent reason.

On an off note I would have to say I have never seen town with its act in gear this well. Nothing but good lynches so far and got a good narrowing of who is town and who is unknown leaving smaller and smaller openings for the mafia's.

I know, but I could hardly believe that. Silly Bollikin.

Despite all those things everyone has said about Revan, I'm still hard-pressed to pick out the Revan/Lorick pair. Though what I've highlighted there is the next scummiest thing that comes to mind. Setting someone up for the kill? And all these 'comments of relief' after something happens... seems like a subtle though clever trick to conjure a sense of innocence about himself.

So unless there are more suspicions today I feel like investigating either Lorick or Revan tonight would be good. Besides that I'm just a little wary of the people who have posted less than Arix in the post Daganev brought up too.

Btw, I didn't receive any messages about armour...and Zetsu might not have bothered since he knew the doctor was on me, preferring to wait until he knew the doctor (or had a good guess) instead. So I think we're safer assuming Zetsu got punked before the opportunity came up and that his role was wasted.

I just have a very strong feeling that Eldritch is one of the Fates. He's just really quiet. Maybe it's just cuz he's lurking though.

I agree with Shou that Archer2's abovementioned quote seems quite definitively scummy - it sounded like he had/knew about the double vote and was trying to set someone up to ninja-lynch Bael. While Bael was 'scum' - though with no powers - it doesn't mean that the actual Traitor scum didn't try to off what they thought was a townie, since the Fates appear to be a completely separate group.

Lorick and Revan may not be as innocent as they claim to be, either - they did mention at first that there might not be just the two of them in the mason group, which ties in to the possibility that they may be Fates.

Either way, FoS: Archer2 for the moment, for his little 'cue' as quoted above. Revan and Lorick could bear closer examination, too.
