Well, there are two ways of thinking here.
1. We are scum, we are playing chicken with the town, and if you believe we are scum we should be investigated.
2. We aren't scum, we've been telling the truth, and if you believe that there are others who should be investigated.
The town does not benefit from a wishy-washy investigator who refused to investigate people who have been asking for it because "They have been asking for it", only to turn around and attempt to lynch those people. Seriously, either you believe us or you don't, and you don't please just man up and investigate. This has been drug on far too long.

Als, didn't Eldritch claim Terentia?

Wow, wait a second... Shiri, you utterly and completely fail horribly. One would think that your constant suspicions about Lorick and I would lead to an investigation so we'd get cleared, but you, good sir, just failed miserably. *shakes head* Seriously, stop doing it wrong. Lorick and I offed TWO scum already. If it isn't clear to you that we're innocent, then you need to lay off the skunky weed. I don't know who I'm going to vote for yet, but seriously, some of you people need to get your heads out of your collective asses.
No, this is smart play. You know I only get one investigate per night, right? Declining to investigate you when you and others act scummy but you also have some semblance of a claim (and, as demonstrated by the fact, that I unvoted you, at least a little evidence) is not "fail", it's smart play. Think about this for a second, sheesh. Your defensiveness is making it worse.
Lorick2008-08-11 13:55:58
I really don't understand it. I mean, it isn't like there have been loud calls from anyone else for an investigation on themselves, and regardless of the outcome it only stands to great benefit of the town.
1. We aren't scum, you get two confirmed townies
2. We are scum, you catch two scum
....Why is this so hard for you Shiri?

I remember something like that.
Lorick2008-08-11 13:57:26
Ok, fine, I get the idea that normally this might stand to benefit. But by investigating us you would have the outcome of two investigations. So... Why?
Lorick2008-08-11 13:59:17
I think the point Revan was trying to make was you refuse to investigate, then attempt to lynch us... Especially when we've been asking to cleared for a couple of days.
Daganev2008-08-11 14:12:35
Serrella's absence is ditrubing me right now.
Daganev2008-08-11 14:13:59
also, yes, I claimed Crumkane, and I remember Eldritch claiming one of the warrior gods.

Busy weekend for me, but wanted to let you all know that I'm alive.
It's a fairly simple strategy, Lorick. Minimize the number of investigations you have to make by looking at someone who's laying low/vaguely scummy during the night, and investigating the really suspicious people during the day when you can strongarm people through public opinion. Ideally, this would've been resolved with you two a couple days ago one way or the other, but the situation has been complicated by the way someone's been walking right into a doublevote-related ninja lynch, or abusing doublevote to end the day.
It's Revan frigging doing that, by the way. Twice now.
Still gotta look over two days' worth of stuff, here, by the way, so it may be a bit before I can offer something profound. But ninja lynch twice is irritating me.

I'm not much caring about the ninja-lynch whining, personally. Scummy or not, it's a viable tactic in some ways and it's gotten us two (count that: two!) scum. Heck, I'd go so far as to say it's gotten us four scum due to the night kills as well! So cheer up and embrace the ninja-lynch. We're doing extremely well.
Shiri2008-08-11 14:25:21
Ninja lynch has fluked and worked for us this time, but the rest of the time it's something we want to avoid, so please try not to walk into it again! (still need req to wake up before I can reveal my scry info...gah. If he's not here in an hour and a half it'll have to wait till tomorrow morning.)
Daganev2008-08-11 14:49:41
Actually, something is bothering me.
Is there any chance Shiri has been recruited into a traitor some how?
I'm not sure why Shiri is waiting for req, when he has allready said he is orlachmer. I'm also concerned about this push on revan/lorick, when he could have easily investigated, as well as a lack of helpfull information for the past two days.
Something just isn't adding up for me.
Also, Shiri was wrong in what he said about Shou. Shou first weakly attacked archer2, and silferras followed up on the vote.
Then when Myrkr said that Shou knew something about Fain, Shou said, that Myrkr was correct, and that Silferras must not be scum, since she was currently voting for scum. (i.e. archer2)

Cults don't start with 3 members. And if anyone had that ability it would be Fain. So not realistically.

That sounds more or less like what I said except I didn't include Silferras. Silferras wasn't a critical part of the equation there and remember that we have at LEAST 3 scum remaining so not being part of one scum group isn't a total absolution

Well, you said that first we became aware that Shou knew something about Fain, and only then did he put up a case against Archer2. It was actually the other way around.
Hmm, ok, if you dropped the thing against Revan, why is he still defending himself *peer Revan*
Daganev2008-08-11 15:01:14
Also, I was thinking that the third member might be Raezon, and he might have an ability to "use" another person, (thust converting them) like the way Raezon used Virvavain.

Ok. Well...I guess that's just my having a bad memory then. The general gist still got through and I don't think either the scum or the town could benefit from misrepresenting the order of those particular events. So whatever.

'cause he's aggro and has attitude problems, is my guess, although that kind of defensiveness -is- usually a scum tell

I guess that makes sense, and we only know one more traitor (that G-name woman). Raezon is probably the last member. I am not sure if that makes sense as his power though. How wouuld that work? Permanent? Hijack their ability for one night or something? Anyway, it's something to be aware of as a possibility but there's no reason to believe that's happened to me.
Lorick2008-08-11 15:10:30
I suspect Revan's reacting because while you say you've dropped it, others haven't.
Shiri2008-08-11 15:13:53
I assume because they haven't been around to (or they think the reasoning I gave outweighs the reasoning in your favour...which I feel uncomfortable about, but it's possible.)
