Yo people, just got home from work but anyway, I hate Daganev as much as the next person but lets not lynch him due to his post style so early please. Think you have had like 5 or 6 people posting so far and already trying to move the day along. How about we slow down a bit and let some people post who haven't posted at all. Also FOS Okiesakana For jumping on the Daganev hate bandwagon with the coverup of "moving the game along" its only 6 pages long, chill people.
Shiri2008-08-01 04:10:01
So yeah, who hasn't posted at all? It's been a day now, we can start prodding the inactive people to wake up and say something constructive.
Shayle2008-08-01 04:15:28
It looks like almost everyone has said something up to this point.
(and seriously, mafia game aside, what's with all the hate for Daganev? I think it's really unnecessarily mean. )

I don't particular hate him, but it is hard to get a read on him. He just flat out acts suspicious all the time. I mean, the town was ready to lynch him again the last game after it was _proven_ he was town... Because he was suspicious.
All that said, we really only have the normal first day nothings to go off of.

Eh...if anyone IS hating on him (doesn't look like it to me except maybe Revan) it's probably just because his attitude is gamewrecking. Check out the last game, his posts read like a ginormous drama thread split off from Lack of Rants.
I suspect here it's more since his dodgy logic (which if anyone had listened would be advising against people playing competently at all) is the most obvious clue we have to go off right now.
He's getting defensive over my comments about it too, after accusing -me- of being defensive earlier. Trying to derail it into a discussion of popularity instead of town survival is something of a dodgy smokescreen too.
If everyone's said anything...we can either press on the suspicious people or try to make the quieter ones say something more constructive, I guess? Eh.

Requiem's the only one who hasn't spoken up at all, I think?
Silvanus2008-08-01 04:31:08
Daganev is shifty and suspicious, just always.

That's not a surprise.

Sorry, another loooong day at school (hopefully the last one for a while. I'll go over the posts now).

Going to keep my vote on Daganev so pressure doesn't drop for no reason, but the people randomvoting should probably change to requiem or something at this point, as despite his promised 24/7 interweb access he apparently hasn't posted anything...?
Unknown2008-08-01 06:13:32
If we're going to put pressure on anyone, it should probably be a united thing if it's going to be in any way effective.. I haven't seen any damning evidence on Daganev's part so far, except for those passing judgement from previous game experience. I'm also willing to give Requiem the benefit of the doubt until (or if?) he posts, so I'll keep my vote where it is for now.
Arix2008-08-01 06:15:57
I'm back now, I had a minor medical crisis but it's mostly been resolved. It still seems like people are bandwagoning Daganev. And I see no posts from Requiem, didn't he say he got better internet access?
Thul2008-08-01 07:00:19
Requiem's last five posts on the forum include a vote for the second to last day of the last game. The man can lurk.
Unvote: Shayle

Have some pressure.

Goodness people, I'm here.
I just want to point out that Daganev talks. A lot. Which means he generates discussion in games that (in my experience, which skipped the past bunch of games) tend to peter out by the fourth or fifth day.
Also, the only time I've ever said something along the lines of "I hate Daganev as much as the next person" I was actively setting him up to get him lynched in the following days. It creates a group exclusion mentality that makes it easier to lynch him. Granted he does tend to set himself of for the role of Irate Outsider anyway, but I find people who nourish the sentiment rather scummy.
I'm going to go read the thread again and I'll vote when I'm done.

Rika, you have daganev voting for daganev.
Think that's meant to be me.

Alright, I vaguely remember someone mentioning a forum function that says how many times each person posted in a given thread. Or was it just changing it to outline and counting? Because if that's all it was, then it's no good. I suck at counting.
I'm going to Vote: Serella as the other person who's only posted once (I think...). And no I've posted twice.

Interesting. UNVOTE:okieSakana for now.
Unknown2008-08-01 13:34:59
Definitely meant to say "now" rather than "no." Also, this is what usually happens. I pop in and read up on the thread. I post on the thread, and go back and count things. Then I wait a while, get bored because no one else posts at the same as I do, and then go away. Then life distracts me and I don't get back on for another 14 hours.
