I'm actually kinda suspect of trillilial too, I find it hard to believe that, as Xyl, I wouldn't have some kind of relationship with the character
Thul2008-08-12 22:15:52
Don't ask me about the Maylea thing. I just have to assume I'm some sort of fluke at this point. Dunno whether it's just a case of inability to figure out who to give the ability to or poor writing on Rika's part. It's loosely tied, I guess. Maylea does stuff with flowers...
...yeah. I think it's stupidly lame too, but it's what I've got to work with. (Seriously, is there anyone out there with such a lame connection to their ability? I know there's gotta be someone.) We've been over this before, and in any case, I've got confirmation from Shiri on the matter. Ability reads are included in his material, in case you hadn't noticed.
I still think that Shou's whole deal is unnecessarily convoluted and suspicious... if the end game shows up and his roleclaim is three pages long on its own, fair enough. If you're sure he's not riffing off of you, Dag, alright then. Unvote: Shou
As far as god choices go, I'd like to add that Lantra is completely out of nowhere, but I really haven't questioned that one since Silvanus brought our investigator back.
As for Trill/Xyl, I find the likelihood of two mason pairs suspect. Three is just right out.

I never said that we would be a mason group, I said it's odd that we have no interaction at all
Unknown2008-08-12 23:09:37
Why is it odd? we have no interaction?

Mayhaps you know little about Trillilial?
She of a Million L's was the mate of Xyl.
So, unless Xyl's investigation involved effing the info out of Trillilial, I'm at a loss as to why a couple would have no interaction with each other.
However, for now, my vote stays as is.

I have stated I know little about the histories and what not. To me this is a mafia game with a cool theme.

Ok, I can't really afford to keep waiting for Rika, especially since what I was concerned about is irrelevant anyway. It didn't really have anything to do with the game. I copy/pasted my role while I was paraphrasing, and when I was looking over it again I was confused by a sentence that had the word "you" in it, and then realized what had happened. Lorick was the only one reading the page at the time, which was why I was semi-asking him to wait for me to ask Rika.
My eating people power is a night power. Observe that Fain is gone. Even if you don't believe me, Shiri said I've been eating everyone and I've never done anything with CONSUME. The elixir is a day power.
You guys either have two choices, either I'm a damn good liar, or I'm telling the truth. You would think with all of the information I've been providing and the amount of attention I've been drawing I'd have slipped up at some point. I have yet to tell a lie, or do anything that doesn't make sense in the context of this setup. Early on day 2 I've been implying that Rika seemed to have a fascination with taking other people's powers. I volunteered my name, which I was convinced was scum-tastic, because I was hoping I could last long enough to be verified by a cop.
Even yesterday, you can't honestly tell me that I was a suspect before I starting posting about how my investigation would make me look pretty scummy. And yet I did it anyway. That was the benefit of the doubt I was asking for at the time. It was completely separate from the nameclaim at the beginning.
So if I'm really smart enough that I have a convoluted, scummy looking roleclaim to cover up the fact that I really am convoluted scum, you have to give me enough credit that I'd probably have either picked something more obviously not scummy, or that I'd have let it drop at some point instead of constantly pointing out "Hey! I look like a killer!"
Oh, and I'm still fairly convinced that there's a scum daykiller. Either that, or I'm immune to traitor kills but not being eaten. But like I said, I'm fairly certain my role was designed to get me lynched during the day. Rika set this game up in much the way that I would have. Which was why I suspected something quirky like a double vote.

Like I said before, you've made it perfectly clear you aren't lying about anything regarding mechanics. Its your allegiance we question.
You keep saying "Hey look over here, I'm not lying about the mechanics!" to try to not let us notice your other scumminess signs(i.e. causing unneeded paranoia, getting people to find people via names, hiding from Shiri's inquiries, consumption habits)
You've been saying "I'm not scum but I look like scum", a bit too often. (And you admitted on day one or two, that you are a good at lieing and could have come up with a better name... if that had been your goal)
Your mistake was in thinking that all we look at is mechanics, and not behavior as well.

I was going to write a long post condemning Orlachmar, but then I went and did some research. It looks like though Orlachmar was tainted by Fain's elixir, he remained true to the Elder gods. If someone can link me elsewhere it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm missing huge holes in my Lusternia lore (like the identity of Fain's 12). However, so far the roles have fit along the allegiance of the characters, minus the Fates who seem to want everyone dead.
Daganev2008-08-13 02:02:27
I copy and paste the title of this thread here:
Mafia: Elder Wars Redux, History Rewritten!
I don't think historically, Maylea was able to destroy anyone who hurt another elder god by pelting them with flowers.

All right then. Just people's allegiance's have been true to how they were. In that light though, I'm of agreement that the consuming others deal and the soulless power source AND consuming FAIN of all people just adds up to too suspicious. As such:
Unvote: Revan

ELIXIR ZETSU
Unknown2008-08-13 02:59:39
Ok, well I don't know what else you want me to say. I'm one of, if not the most, resilient characters we have. If I wanted to remain low key I could have, and you all know I'm able to do it. Last game I almost certainly would have survived if I hadn't gotten distracted by real life.
If you're going to kill me fine. But please, please, please look at Lorick tonight. Just as a last request.

Doesn't that risk unknown affects!?! Waah, what were you thinking!?!!

Still think we should get Doman first, I have a stronger belief that he's scum than that req is.
And Zetsu better not be scum or something there.

If he's telling the truth it has at least a possibility of being a useful move, like just returning a powerless townie (for our voting bloc.)
Of course, it could also backfire. Obviously Zetsu will be a first target if we finish off Raezon and the other fates and the game doesn't end.

Raezon's the one missing?
What're the names of the fates again? Atropos and Clothos? Or Lachesis? :: Forgot which one they're missing. ::

I was thinking that too until Doman was reluctant to vote for Requim, and Requim went on his "I'm a better liar" spiel.
