Unknown2008-08-16 01:25:00
Never targeted you Shiri as I knew you were being protected. Kind of figured the Thul NK vengence was a bluff but didnt want to test it until later in the game.

Am I the only one who thinks this game was really stacked agaisnt the Traitors?
Rika2008-08-16 01:28:56
Well, the Traitors had 1) a revive ability (which could make you look like a townie), 2) a high chance of throwing off an investigation and 3) a one-shot investigation.
Unknown2008-08-16 01:29:08
No, I would say it was pretty fair. Just upset that I cant play in the next one because the sign up started while I was at work.
Unknown2008-08-16 01:31:31
Also I think I played that Sk pretty well ^^. My first time getting a scummy role so I am happy

Maybe, but as for the town...9 scum/20?

Original (pre-consuming/Excoroperditioing) roles:
TRAITORS (3)
Fain, of the Red Masque (Shamarah/Archer2)
You are Fain, of the First Circle, natural leader of the Thinkers. You believe the rest of the Elders to be weak, to be easy prey to the Soulless. You lead the twelve known as the Traitors. Each night, send me a PM with who you wish to target. You win when the Traitors comprises a majority of the town.
With those of your Fifth Circle coterie, you have discovered how to harness the powers of the Excoroperditio and may ELIXIR once during any day to revive a dead Elder. However, due to the unstable energy of the Excoroperditio, this may cause side effects to your revived target.
Your Traitors are (Morgfyre) and (Raezon). You may PM them at night.
Morgfyre, the Legion (Shayle)
You are Morgfyre, the Legion, one of the twelve known as the Traitors. You believe the rest of the Elders to be weak, to be easy prey to the Soulless. If your Master, Fain, dies, you will assume the leadership of the Traitors. You win when the Traitors comprises a majority of the town.
Because you have the essence of so many Elders, there is a 75% chance that you will automatically be able to assume the identity of another random Elder God if you are investigated by anyone.
Your Traitors are (Fain) and (Raezon). You may PM them at night.
Raezon, the Forbidden (Arix, Myrkr)
You are Raezon, the Forbidden, one of the twelve known as the Traitors. You believe the rest of the Elders to be weak, to be easy prey to the Soulless. If both Fain and Morgfyre dies, you will assume the leadership of the Traitors. You win when the Traitors comprises a majority of the town.
In your quest for forbidden knowledge, you may target a person to find information about them. Send me a PM at night if you choose to use this ability. You may use this ability once.
Your Traitors are (Morgfyre) and (Fain). You may PM them at night.
SOULLESS (2)
Kethuru, the Almighty (daganev)
You are Kethuru, the Almighty. The strongest of the Soulless, you care nothing about the relations of the Elder Gods, your cousins (or anyone else, for that matter). All you care about is your continual hunger for more essence. As a Herald of Magnora, you may send me a PM with a target each night to attempt to consume (60% chance). You win when nothing is left but yourself (or there are only one other person with you during the day).
Additionally, there is a 15% chance of you to take a random power from those you consume, should they have one. This power may be in a more limited form, however.
Illith, the Leviathan (Saaga)
You are Illith, the Leviathan. The first amongst the Heralds, you care nothing about the relations of the Elder Gods, your cousins (or anyone else, for that matter). All you care about is your continual hunger for more essence. As a Herald of Magnora, you may send me a PM with a target each night to attempt to consume (60% chance). Your Sisters are (Clothos) and (Atropos). You may PM them at night.

Meridian, of the First (Revan)
You are Meridian, of the First. You believe in the freedom of the Elder Gods in your constant battles with the Soulless and the Twelve. You win with the Elder Gods.
As one of the First Circle, you are highly influential to the paths taken by the rest of the Elders. You led the opposition against Fain and his elixir coterie and was able to win, saving the Elders from falling to the same fate as Orlachmar. Due to your strong leadership abilities, your votes are automatically counted as two votes. You may not turn off this power.
Due to your strong affection for Amberle, if she dies at any point during the game, you will also take your life the following night. Otherwise, you may choose to communicate with her via PMs during the night.
Amberle, of the First (Lorick)
You are Amberle. You believe in the freedom of the Elder Gods in your constant battles with the Soulless and the Twelve. You win with the Elder Gods.

Orlachmar, Bearer of the Excoroperditio (requiem)
You are Orlachmar, Bearer of the Excoroperditio. You believe in the freedom of the Elder Gods in your constant battles with the Soulless and the Twelve. You win with the Elder Gods.
You were the first and so far only Elder to have had the Excoroperditio used on you. The elixir has made you both stronger and faster. It has also affected your very essence. Fortunately, the purity in your soul continues to shine through and you may use this to the Elders’ advantage. Once during the game, you may PM me with CONSUME to gain the abilities of the dead Elder. These powers may come in a limited form, though.
You also may not be killed at night, for you are now strong enough to resist any attempts at murdering you.

However, you cannot reveal this fact to anyone as your rivalry is known to all, and they will surely see it as an attempt by you to gain more power. You may still vote for him and try to put a case up against him, but you may never reveal who he is or that you have this power at all.
NOTE: This means if you reveal this to anyone, you will be modkilled. Don’t do it. You have been warned.

I should not have lived that long. Turns out I'm a bit of a dumbass and didn't connect the doctor ability to Maylea, until a few days later when I actually got around to reading her writeup. The line about protecting the other elders with enchantments is actually in there... go fig. Thanks for playing along with the bomb thing, Shiri. That was great.
Oh. That's how Dag pulled that daykill? Wasn't expecting that at all. Suppose the killers deserved something for playing in that setup... seriously, there were like eight different ways to screw over a killer, including their own percentile miss chance. If I'd actually had a bomb role, that just would've been the icing on the cake.

I guess I should add a few of my thoughts.
-Was a bit annoyed that a lot of the scum were lurkers. Made it too easy for the town to just pick them out and lynch.
-WTF Revan?
-No idea why Myrkr targetted Shiri not once but twice. Daganev doing it on the last night was understandable.
-I thought the Fates idea was pretty neat. My idea was that if they played as 'good' townies, they wouldn't be found out at all until it was too late.
-I totally thought daganev's luck was going to take him all the way.
-Town is actually pretty lucky Nejii was killed day one.

-I thought the Fates idea was pretty neat. My idea was that if they played as 'good' townies, they wouldn't be found out at all until it was too late.
-I totally thought daganev's luck was going to take him all the way.
-Town is actually pretty lucky Nejii was killed day one.
I thought that Dag was the protector, and I was hoping he'd protect himself.

Yeah, that was a bit weird, especially after I'd been so anti-roles-that-don't-make-sense the previous day... I kind of thought you were trying to lure out people also claiming to have non-fitting roles, then gank them...that's why I voted Sarrasri, YOUR confusion with Silferras got stuck in my head, and I thought Silferras had made a claim to a non-fitting role (she actually hadn't thought.)
