I think influencing Estarra with other people's credit cards is shrubbable.

Yeah I only read the important announce posts.

I'm a tad disappointed with the auctions, I was thinking there would be a few more cool items, something for warriors may have been nice seeing as Guardian, bards and mage/droods all have gotten something now. Even just an alternate to weapon runes, Rune of Darkness, Rune of Light - change it to 1/6th 1/12th have it unblockable damage, or a Rune to convert 1/3 to Psionic damage, or maybe something for armor or helm.

Just as a note:
1. I am a warrior.
2. I plan to go for that Crow Censer with 50 credits.
3. Back off, Ashai!
4. All you Blacktalon can back off, too.

Yeah, I'm not saying there isn't anything nice for warriors, I'm just a bit saddened that there isn't anything just for warriors.

Well, I'm of two minds about that...

While it might be nice...

The crow censer is about the only thing that appeals to me much out of the list. What does the broom actually do?

Weapon runes are all pretty much the same, just slight variances, really there is what, + stats, damage type, + wounding, and that's it, seeing as this is an auction, having a few one off ones might have been nice, the Light and Darkness ones could have had automatic customization for them as well.

Don't forget the +bleeding, too.

That's a heck of a lot more artifact variance than some of these other things give.

PS: Of the artifacts on the list, the only ones I don't expect to end up in the shop eventually are: Transplanar Torus, the custom emote/pose (though it may be something that they'll eventually allow you to purchase via credits, like pets...), Tully's Broom (simply because it sounds unique, and the ability to wipe out any herbs in a room seems a bit... annoying for general consumption), the Pentagon Puzzle (the pyramid already exists, and this is a unique upgrade), and perhaps the magic carpets (there's already a flying artifact, the faerie wings).

Everything else up there should be looked at as "artifacts that will be on the general market eventually," and as such, can be compared with the existing artifacts.

I despise these things. All they'll do is widen the gap between the fighters(Read: Inner Party) and the normal people (Read: Proles).

I'm pretty sure that Geb will get the Torus and put an entrance in Ethereal Glomdoring, off on the north end, but well... it's not a whole lot different than divinefiring in anyways and using a whistle to summon a ship. Most of the other stuff isn't really game-balance changing.

I like the dingbat part. I will be vying for those, I believe. Everything else? I'll never afford.

How does the scrying mirror work as well?

MESSAGE ESTARRA Hey, I know I bought some of these artifacts, but could I possibly beg you to let me swap them for credits again since I did it the day before the announcement?

I'm not saying it'll work (it very well may not), but Estarra has traditionally been pretty fair when it comes to credit expenditures / purchases at "The Wrong Time". Such as credits bought the day before a credit sale getting the credit bonus applied to them, if a message is sent.

Can't hurt to try, at least.
