We had good times but they eventually crashed, and there was hostility.

Lendren also argued quite animatedly against Ardmore being enemied even after that. He holds no grudge. (You should be asking this in game, though!)

But I am sure it can get old. Spending more time trying to maneuver politics and drama than, you know, actually playing can be fun at times, but it definitely can fray nerves.

i dont really know what your talkin about with jerks/beaches in Mag. I mean Mag is naturally abrasive, i actually find it odd when their are light hearted moments . idk if your just taking some of the other characters darker/mean roleplay to heart. Like sometimes i get discouraged when people dont respond to my tells or talk to me unless they need something, but these are also the people who have some really good RP situations. I also dont really get the two groups of Mags and dont know where that would lump me then. blah.

I also found some of the 'jerks' mentioned on here, not to be jerks at all they helped me ALOT as a newb, and are always really helpful. idgi

I define someone as a jerk by how they respond to someone who is not on their side.

It is a rare person who is actually a jerk to -everyone-.

You can be an enemy and not a jerk.

For example, some players will never kill low might enemies without a warning, others might jump them but will give the corpse back to be raised, while others will force them to pray with no warning. The same could be said about working to have fair fights, not using abusing language (though depending on how bad that gets I just issue them) and so on.

I am sure every org has its jerks, but you often do not really get a sense for who they are until you are playing a char that works against them (though some you can tell from their posts here).
