Druid combat is, from my understanding, fairly cheap to enter in Lusternia. Guild-wise, all you really need is Sap in Druidry and enough lessons in your tertiary to hinder. I believe Runes was the ideal choice for ghetto druids, but Runes and Ecology have both received massive changes lately (and Dreamweaving will be receiving one soon), so not sure on the exact situation at the moment.

p stage
The stylized steel frame of this stage has been created out of spare engine parts carefully welded together. Its platform follows the thrust stage pattern with three of its sides exposed. The steel side panels slope downward as in an engine with various valves, pipes and hoses jutting forth and adorning the metal frame, only to snake back into the unknown. Several large, blackened steel sheets are riveted to the frame's top as the stage floor. The blackened steel, transformed by the Taint, absorbs most artificial lighting which makes it a durable alternative to the traditional wood. A hinged trapdoor is placed slightly left of center-stage, barely noticeable by the untrained eye. The front panel of the stage mixes industry with art, the steel emblazoned with an outline of a gruesome mask of tragedy and comedy. The left outline of the mask is made of blackened steel cogs welded onto the panel, in gruesome likeness to a human. Its expression is that of utmost pain as if it were being hideously tortured. The right outline of the mask is sparkling gold pipe that is shaped into a hideously beautiful viscanti, its mouth twisted in some form of morbid ecstasy. The construction of the stage is sound, nothing about its unique design impeding movement on-stage.
It weighs about 3125 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of the Cacophony Guild.

I chose Nihilist, I suppose because it truly interested me even if combat is lacking. Also I do imagine I could change without it being too much of a hurt, if I feel it's not a good fit, right?

Edit: I should explain why. Being a druid is a fairly intensive class. Druids are basically the caretakers of the forest, and have more assigned to them than any other sort of forest guild. Also, in combat, druid demesnes are essential and you'll always be in a vital role. Some people get a little worn out being a druidy drood, I'll admit that I was, but it helps if there are more people to bear the duties. Like I said, though, you'll get a lot of praise and recognition quickly, and become a very important person if you do decide to be a druid, and I'll still give you all sorts of love and affection and textual wealth.
