Druid combat is, from my understanding, fairly cheap to enter in Lusternia. Guild-wise, all you really need is Sap in Druidry and enough lessons in your tertiary to hinder. I believe Runes was the ideal choice for ghetto druids, but Runes and Ecology have both received massive changes lately (and Dreamweaving will be receiving one soon), so not sure on the exact situation at the moment.
This is very true. If you're interested in combat, you only need to get about mythical in druidry and you'll be able to kill 75% of lusternia.

To be fair, I'm working on fixing ninjakari RP. It's tougher than you think! Nekotai have a large boon with that scorpion thing >.> But worry not, soon the fruits of our labor shall be seen!

p stage
The stylized steel frame of this stage has been created out of spare engine parts carefully welded together. Its platform follows the thrust stage pattern with three of its sides exposed. The steel side panels slope downward as in an engine with various valves, pipes and hoses jutting forth and adorning the metal frame, only to snake back into the unknown. Several large, blackened steel sheets are riveted to the frame's top as the stage floor. The blackened steel, transformed by the Taint, absorbs most artificial lighting which makes it a durable alternative to the traditional wood. A hinged trapdoor is placed slightly left of center-stage, barely noticeable by the untrained eye. The front panel of the stage mixes industry with art, the steel emblazoned with an outline of a gruesome mask of tragedy and comedy. The left outline of the mask is made of blackened steel cogs welded onto the panel, in gruesome likeness to a human. Its expression is that of utmost pain as if it were being hideously tortured. The right outline of the mask is sparkling gold pipe that is shaped into a hideously beautiful viscanti, its mouth twisted in some form of morbid ecstasy. The construction of the stage is sound, nothing about its unique design impeding movement on-stage.
It weighs about 3125 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of the Cacophony Guild.

As I said, I love Mag the city, if you could just get rid of those demon lords and corpses everywhere
I think a break away Tainted but aethiest city would be so much fun. And by aethiest I do not mean they would not believe in the divine, they would just not follow them. There has to be a better word but I can not think of one. The Engine of Change is just so cool, makes me sad

I agree. Mag is really something, but then it throws in something sterotypical to kind of water it down.

Well, Aryxias is all created
I chose Nihilist, I suppose because it truly interested me even if combat is lacking. Also I do imagine I could change without it being too much of a hurt, if I feel it's not a good fit, right?

No hurt at all as long as you haven't yet graduated in your guild. A Freshman novice (meaning "has not yet graduated out of novicehood in any guild") recovers ALL lessons used when quitting their guild or forgetting a skillset.

If you do become a Blacktalon, I will shower you with love, adoration, and anything else your little heart desires.
Edit: I should explain why. Being a druid is a fairly intensive class. Druids are basically the caretakers of the forest, and have more assigned to them than any other sort of forest guild. Also, in combat, druid demesnes are essential and you'll always be in a vital role. Some people get a little worn out being a druidy drood, I'll admit that I was, but it helps if there are more people to bear the duties. Like I said, though, you'll get a lot of praise and recognition quickly, and become a very important person if you do decide to be a druid, and I'll still give you all sorts of love and affection and textual wealth.

Where's my textual wealth? I spend it all on credits.

Nihilist seems to be working out well enough. I've weeded my way through most of the College tasks, and honestly the bashing skill doesn't seem bad at all.
I'm not looking to be either a pvp or pve machine, but I'll look at how I feel after the weekend, because I'm headed out of town for a few days.

I think this is a general guardian problem. We guardians certainly fill a strong role, but have less diversity than other classes. Talkan! Malarious! I chose you!
Psh. Don't lump Celestines in with Nihilists. Talkan has things on EZ mode. He's like a step above ppk whores.
Yay Nihilists! Poke me IC or OOC is you are interested in anything I've mentioned.

Yes, yes, please. You have no idea what the last hour has been like. I -try- to rp a bit with Mihewi, but Falon likes to keep asking damn questions. No, I won't take you back to Paavik, if you want to go, effing go. Yes, Pharamon will kill you again, GTFO.

For anyone from Achaea, how close is Veil in Lusternia's stealth skill to Phase in Achaea's Subterfuge?
For anyone from Achaea, how close is Veil in Lusternia's stealth skill to Phase in Achaea's Subterfuge?
Unknown2008-08-15 15:00:29
Not the same. Veil simply hides your location on WHO (Thirdeye) and prevents people from scrying you through farscout, window, etc. - it's more like the Veil artifact. It lasts 5 minutes for 5 power. The only skills that allows 'phasing' are Dreamweaving and Necromancy (Ghost), though the latter is incredibly limited.
Unknown2008-08-15 15:08:17
And from dreamweaving it's being in dreambody that is close to being "phased"?
So many questions...
So many questions...
Sylphas2008-08-15 15:51:06
Being in Dreambody, or weaving Nature or Statue in Glamours all phase you out of reality, even down the @ in your prompt. Nature and Statue cannot move or act, though. Your Dreambody is phased (but most of the skillset lets you interact with non-phased people while in Dreambody), but your real body is still asleep somewhere and can be attacked.
