Here's my Character concept.
I'm a guy who doesn't remember his past, but I somehow know how to fight and hunt. I'm really friendly and mild mannered, and I don't like a lot of conflict. I'm very Loyal, and I am trustworthy to those who I befriend. I don't take betrayal easily.
Based on this, I was advised to join the Serenguard, so I did.
I took the Hunting skill. What do you think?

Hello and welcome to Lusternia!
It'll be interesting to see your character develop in Serenwilde. ^_^

Thanks! The other guild that was suggested was Paladin... but that didn't seem right to me.

I think serenwilde is just perfect for you.

You're just looking for a new nublet to lolgank.

Xavius you're dumb.

Well, you certainly wouldn't like Magnagora.
You seem like romper/snuggler type. You'll fit in wonderfully in Seren.

You give trolls like me a bad name. Go away.
Snuggler/romper =! friendly. Yer's an arse.
@Original poster:
What race are you? Hunting is usually inferior to Totems. If you're an Elfen, take Totems definitely.

Tell me you're fresh from Aetolia. Please, please, please?

Welcome to Lusternia, and welcome to the Serenguard! If you need anything, you're more than welcome to ask me (Iasmos).

I'm Human. I'd definately take Totems if I were an Elfen, but it doesn't fit with my human characters personality.

Nope, fresh from Achaea.

Thanks, I'll look you up!!
And to the person who said something about snuglling.... I do NOT like snuggling. It's senseless and has nothing to do with character development. Only person I snuggle is my wife or my pet.

I played Achaea for a few years before making the jump to Lusternia. After a while, it was just like a second job to play Larkin, keeping the shop going and answering nitpicky questions about scripting. Compared to Achaea, Lusternia is delightful even on its worst days!

Just... ignore her.
Hints on being a warrior... well, for PvE you want speed weapons. That's most important. Damage increase that you get from the damage stuff is pretty small in PvE, while the speed bonus is more substantial. And you can dual-wield without any kind of a skill, so even having 2 clubs in Newton is a good idea.

What should I learn as far as skills go right away?
I learned the basic stuff, so should I continue in Knighthood?
Also, I was thinking about going axelord, but I thought you could wield two Axes when you do that. Are there handaxes that I can dual wield? I'll either go the hammer route or dual-wield swords. Haven't decided yet. What do you think?

20 extra damage shaved off an entire hit for me against Kephera. Definitely not 'pretty small.'

Not necessarily. That just means you got that little bit extra needed, probably.
Unknown2008-08-20 16:22:00
Can't dual wield axes. All axelord ones are two-handers. As for skills, I suggest Knighthood, yeah. Not that you can reach Master or higher rank as a novice...
Unknown2008-08-20 16:23:30
No, an increase of 50 damage shaved off two hits against workers. Damage definitely helps at the lower levels.
Unknown2008-08-20 17:05:51
In my personal opinion, the two-handed specializations are a little easier just because you're only worrying about one weapon, but the one-handed specializations give you more flexibility as far as when to raze, where to strike, and all that.
