did you roll or use an RNG?
Unknown2008-09-03 11:06:56
22 point assignment, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, and 8, with the table, since it was easier that way.
Arix2008-09-03 11:11:40
yeah, most GM's resort to that after a few games with me in, once I pull out the Godly Stat Dice and throw several 18's.
Unknown2008-09-03 11:40:05
Well the reason I dont trust rolls is because since I'm not there, someone could legitimately claim a few 18's and maybe a 17, 13 and 14 to offset that, assigning points is more fair and means you can customize your character more rather than resort to luck.

Oh no, I'm talking about RL games where the DM is sitting right there watching me and is utterly shocked by the stats I roll

Best to just have the DM do all the rolling. If the forums could roll in posts that would be cool, but the flavor I think is always nicer when we don't know exactly what was rolled.

I own my set of dice, and I like to have my destiny in my hands. If I screw up it will be my luck, not someone else's
Also, since when does Lusternia have Halflings
Arix2008-09-04 04:06:11
Faelings?

Faelings?
Or Furrikin, I know, but if you play, don't play as a Halfling. Say you are a faeling, or furrikin or something

Jesus saves, everyone else takes damage.

I actually bought some steel dice for this blacksmith fighter charachter I have in a 3e game I still play. When I'm mad, they dent the table
