Lederton quite likes Shurimaru, amused from his short interaction on his way through Magnagora. He hopes Shurimaru gained a little extra confidence in heels whilst he was away.

This has, I'm afraid, lost the order completely, but I think that may have gone out of the window a while back
From the point of view of an ally, Sarrasri inspires respect through fear. Although she insists she is out of practice with leading defense, she's much closer to perfect than she realises because Sarrasri always has a commanding air. Iola has always been in awe of her, not only for her presence but also for the devotion she shows to her guild, order, commune, but most of all her family. Despite not being someone Iola is incredibly close to, Sarrasri always made her feel more of a Talnara than anyone else did.
I will freely admit that for a very long time, both IC and OOC, I found Myrkr's character really quite irritating. I'm not even sure why. I think it is because I was looking at it through Iola's eyes, and Iola never saw the chaotic fight in Myrkr that she believed was inherent in all faeling. Since coming back and towards the end of when I was around before, I've now had interactions with her that have definitely raised her in respect-gaining. However, Iola finds it hard to take anyone with so many relationships seriously. But that's mostly because she's disgustingly monogamous and loyal
Although I've never personally interacted with him, Synl commands a huge amount of Iola's respect. Ironically, this is for having a secret relationship with her daughter. Xiran and Iola's relationship is oddly largely built on how Iola would defend Xiran against Laysus, and genuinely wanted to give Xiran the best advice she could. Concequently he's become an enigma, but someone who appears very intelligent and perhaps one of the few Gloms that Iola would honestly have a proper conversation with. Despite the fact that I don't think they've ever had a conversation!

Iola is Tael's daughter, so he naturally loves her of course! He keeps a watchful eye over her, making sure that while he is cold to others, he remains with a warm heart to his children. He ensures that she is safe, but secretly harbours both happiness and disdain over the fact that she does not need it anymore from him. No matter what, she's Tael's pride and joy.

I hope you don't find me annoying...
To clarify, Myrkr never had more than one relationship at once, and she's only been married to one person.
Anyway! Myrkr sees Iola, currently, as an ex-faeling, and as such, a traitor to her own kind. Myrkr still tries to interact with Iola because of her great respect for her, but she is finding it increasingly difficult to do so. To Myrkr, Iola was and will always be "one of the lead Moonies", and as such, Myrkr doesn't think she can ever really be friends with Iola (or any of the other "lead Moonies") even she wants to. Iola is still a good person to Myrkr, for what it counts.
Quick for Tael, Myrkr misses the days he'd say the Chickens told him every that would happen.
Harkux2008-09-19 00:50:30
Shiida always looked up to Tael because he was her uncle and whatnot, though it's been a long time since she's seen him, I never brought her back from dormancy after I made Harkux.
Harkux has only met Tael once or twice, and while she's related, those meetings were only during political times, particularly when she was contesting for Seneschal. She has a lot of respect for him despite all of it.
OOC? <3 Tael. He's been my buddy for like ever =D

He still does, he follows the ways of Albion closely. Leading to the good and arguably bad aspects of following the Crone (Dementia). Though the chickens do have much knowledge for those who listen.

Quois2008-09-20 17:34:23
Quois isn't a Seren, has never interacted with Serens, and wants to know what they have worth pawning. >_>
Shurimaru is a good bloke and great fun to chat with, and gets additional props for having snagged Amatsemaru, who Quois respects for being effective, friendly, and generally a tolerant person within the Nihilists. They tend to have fairly amusing chats about women and their assets every so often that leave me loling IRL.

While Shuri doesn't ICly remember that particular discussion, I certainly do. Back when Shuri was a philanderer....that was great RP. Personally, I think what I'm doing now is better though.
Anyways, as for how Shuri views Quois, well, she hasn't yet met him. But before he lost his memory, he did like Quois for his accent, and for when they flirted (well, more like sexually harassed) with those two women, spanning two generations.

If Myrkr feels like it they could have a very interesting discussion on reincarnation. Iola has a very religion-based viewpoint on it and she does love an opportuntity to wax lyrical about Lisaera

I would comment on everyone Ried's interacted with if this thread wasn't a month old and if it wasn't 2:40 AM, so the important ones for now:
Dylara is Ried's... everything: a strong role model, a trustworthy confidant, and the only mother figure she's ever known. Especially because of the latter, Dylara's opinion shapes Ried's more than she lets on. That's why, when Dylara returned to Serenwilde, Ried felt her world split. It wasn't until after talking with Dylara that she realized where her loyalties really lay, a revelation that only confirmed her absolute faith in her mother.
Exeryte is the father Ried never felt she knew. He was always forging or always hunting and it kind of saddened her that she was never close to him. Still, Exeryte is a dependable and amiable sort of guy, and he was never so harsh on her. In fact, she enjoyed his humor and whatever conversations they had. And whenever she tagged along on hunts, she could always count on him to protect her from cave-fishers, kephera monks, and the occasional Celestian.
On the other hand, Emar is who Ried considers a father figure. Since the beginning, he was patient and straightforward and taught her the values she held dearest to her. He always had time in his day to sit and talk, and she always enjoyed their conversations, even his nostalgic meanderings. She felt he was the only one truly capable of leading the Blacktalon, which is why she felt it would never be quite as glorious as it was during his second time as Eye.
And now it's 3 AM. Time for bed.

Wow, haven't posted in here in a while... but... new home, new people! Here we go!
Eliron is, to Myrkr, practically her brother. They call each other brother and sister even though he's married into the family, and she's going to be married into the family. In general, he's a great deal of fun to joke around with, but she knows she won't be able to pull on him what she's pulled on Urazial. (See: shoving out of trees) Myrkr fears that her interactions (or lack thereof) with Druken may be putting stress on Eliron.
Myrkr is absolutely terrified of Druken. Due to what Myrkr feels was a failed first meeting, Druken holds an awkward place. While Druken is Urazial's brother, and therefore important to get along with, Myrkr feels that he hates her and doesn't want her to be part of the Inseira family. Because of this, her way of dealing and interacting with Druken has been "avoid like an incurable plague". She acknowledges Druken is a wonderful person, but she feels that they will never get along.
Lyora is almost a daughter to Myrkr, though she's well aware that Lyora will be her niece. Lyora is a very fun-loving, aggressive, false-innocent character who enjoys most of the attention on her. Which is fine for Myrkr, because Myrkr seems to have enough zest in her to pay attention to many people at once.
Lyrinae is somewhere between a friend and a niece for Myrkr. She often finds herself darting across the line while interacting with Lyrinae, but Myrkr genuinely enjoys being in Lyrinae's presence, for Lyrinae is both calm and silly, knowing when to be serious and to joke around, which is something Myrkr admires.
Lyla is one of Myrkr's found daughters. Myrkr feels she understands Lyla's actions to a great degree, but wishes that Lyla would feel open enough to her to say how her life's going to her. Lyla is quiet and relatively innocent by nature, though not necessarily shy, and she holds a calmness to her in most situations.
Like Lyrinae, Tacita has that calm silliness to her that Myrkr admires. Except, unlike Lyrinae, Tacita is Myrkr's found daughter. Myrkr feels that Tacita would come to her if something was bothering her, and she feels that if anything ever bothered her she could go to Tacita. Sometimes, Tacita acts more mature than Myrkr, which can throw Myrkr for a loop, but in general Tacita seems to have more of Myrkr's silliness, which Myrkr greatly enjoys.
Though a little odd due to saying "ayes" so often, Nyir is actually someone Myrkr enjoys acting with, even if the interactions are brief. Myrkr can tell there's a very deep person to Nyir, and is highly intrigued by her, but feels she is one of those untouchable people that you sort of gaze at in awe from a distance.
Kundu is another one of Myrkr's buddies. Myrkr likes hanging out with Kundu because Kundu is fun, and he isn't afraid to poke fun at her. She isn't afraid to poke fun back at him, and most of all, they're both able to laugh it off at the end of the day. In this sense, Kundu reminds Myrkr of Lekius, but Kundu isn't as whiny to Myrkr. Also, Kundu is someone who provides Myrkr with active competition because they're both Trans Alchemists, albeit Myrkr is a lazy Alchemist.
Kharaen is a business-buddy to Myrkr. She's also the one who explained how shops work to Myrkr, which made Myrkr, a money-hoarder, ecstatic. Myrkr has heard some people call Kharaen negative names in passing, but never believes them, since Kharaen has been nothing but kind to Myrkr.
Myrkr feels oddly comfortable around Leiliadhe. Despite Leiliadhe being an illithoid and Myrkr having left Seren for Glomdoring, Myrkr even questions herself why she doesn't hold any distrust or curiosity about Leiliadhe. Their actions so far have been nothing short of pleasant, and Myrkr finds Leiliadhe to be a beautiful and brilliant leader, even if she hasn't interacted enough with her.
Like Druken, Talan is one of those "talk but don't touch" people, which puts Myrkr in an awkward situation. Even more awkward for Myrkr is that Talan has, on a couple of occasions, took Myrkr's genuine compliments as sarcasm or as trying to belittle her. Even though this has happen, Myrkr feels Talan is actually a very nice person, and like Leiliadhe, highly intelligent. Whenever Myrkr feels like she's been on too much of a debating-spree and needs to be "grounded" (not punished, but taken off her ), she seeks out someone she knows will defeat her in most situations, whether it be debating, influencing, and maybe if they tried, fighting. This person being, namely, Talan.
Amani and Myrkr haven't interacted too much yet, but Myrkr feels like Amani is an older-sister figure. Amani is kind and wise, which Myrkr would like to aim for, and wishes she could willingly give up as much as her time to the Coven and Glomdoring as Amani has.
Demuiq, like Amani, is an older-sibling figure to Myrkr. Demuiq is kind and rather smart, though Myrkr feels he isn't as wise as Amani, but in place he has an air of expression about him that Myrkr can relate to herself. Because of this, Myrkr feels like if she were to put effort into it, she and Demuiq could really become good friends.
Myrkr hasn't had too much interaction with Lesk, aside from a spar and a debate. In the spar, which is where Myrkr usually fails hardest, she defeated -- er, well, her horse defeated -- Lesk. However, in a debate, which Myrkr has found herself to be quite good at recently, Lesk actually managed to top her, to the amazement of all present. Myrkr feels that Lesk may be one of her sons, but isn't sure just yet. What she does know is that she's determined to set things straight with him -- namely, beat him in a debate and have him beat her in a spar.
To Myrkr, Mikalia is a very hopeful person. Not just very hopeful, though. Mikalia aims big, tries for big, and if she doesn't get big, she keeps trying. Myrkr originally pushed her hopefulness off as naivety, until she saw that with determination, Mikalia could get something done even if others doubted her. Mikalia also is someone Myrkr actively hunts out for both debates and to sacrifice for, to prevent her from passing out. Though their conversations have been relatively short, she finds Mikalia to be a fun person.
Another person Myrkr wishes she had more interaction with is Arilyon. Because Arilyon is close to Nocht, Myrkr isn't sure on how she's supposed to act around her, and is particularly scared of messing up somehow to have Nocht send His Order out to kill her (again). Aside for testing positive for the Nocht Factor, Arilyon is a kind and caring person who Myrkr enjoys sharing hugs with, even if random, and enjoys talking to. Myrkr doesn't know too much about Arilyon, but because of the degree of gentleness she offers, Myrkr almost wishes Arilyon was her mother.
Valarien has also been a brief talker to Myrkr, much like his wife. Myrkr doesn't feel comfortable enough with him yet to offer him hugs, since she met him shortly after Druken ( ), but she feels he is also a gentle person. He also helped get Myrkr out of a mess that she hadn't necessarily gotten herself into, which Myrkr feels heavily like she needs to repay him for. Because she likes novices, she figures a good way to start to repay him and enjoy herself at the same time would be to help novices.
I'd like to finish my sandwich, so I'm taking a break from the massive Glom-people post for now. The second half shall come later!

I might as well post and hope for the best.
Myrkr I hardly know as any of my characters, so can't really comment so much.
Rattusk isn't really a forum going unless he has an alt here too, but I've always liked being around him due to his passive and sometimes diliberate rp, which I randomly stumble upon. Gabranth has a really high opinion of him and his ability despite his natural disadvantage.
Celina seems to be the most popular critique so I might add my limited perspective. Gabranth views her as an engima and a bit erratic, since she can never decide what she wants and doesn't fully understand her motivations for rejoining the Geomancers. Her Fain rp is good though and he is intrigued about her schemes after a previous incident they had before I disappeared a little while.
I would say more, but I havent been around enough to really comment.

Gabranth is regarded as a confidant, and a close friend. He was one of those, along with Veonira, who made Krackenor feel at home in the Geomancers, and as he grew, the relationship gradually became one more akin to equals than student and teacher. All in all, one of those that he is always glad to see.
How's that for approval?

Kharaen2008-10-20 18:31:10
Kharaen will rarely have an interaction with someone unless it is business/trade orientated, so she likely seems aloof, distant, arrogant, insolent... Her being unaware of people calling her anything is simply part of her personality - the slights aren't worth notice, so they aren't.
Krackenor2008-10-20 18:34:28
Well...since Kharaen decided to show herself, I'll add that as well.
Kharaen is the best business partner that Krackenor has ever had. Already, the interaction has earned him quite a bit, and there is no sign of the flow slowing down anytime soon.

Heehee. She's not silly, just misunderstood...>.> Okay, she spends most of her time upside down. She is silly.
Tacita thinks that her mother is very odd. But then that's what makes her believe that Myrkr is her mother!
Eliron2008-10-21 04:24:44
Since I was done and actually meant to do several people when this started:
Tacita Eliron likes Tacita a great deal. He's still disappointed she decided she's not his kid (even if he'd never say it!). He likes that she's neither uptight nor gloomy, but definitely has a good head. She's taken all the surprises Eliron's thrown at her and recovered quickly. She's eager to do guild work, which is the fastest way to Eliron's heart for a Harbinger. He also likes her sense of humor, since she'll play along when he quietly teases.
Lyora Eliron's first born. She's energetic, occasionally immature and never actually innocent, and Eliron loves her for it. She keeps him from his introspective funks. He worries about her withdrawn tendencies and lack of involvement, since he knows she left the Glomdoring once. He knows she's just being an attention hog and slightly manipulative when she sulks over new kids, but she's good at it (learned from her parents!) and he's torn between pride she's that good at it, worry that she's serious, and being grumpy since he's always wanted a big family.
Lyrinae Eliron's other daughter. Eliron strongly admires her creativity and poise. She's dedicated and willing to step forward on projects when she has the time, and Eliron wants to work with her as an actress again. He wanted her as a child for years but didn't ask since she/Druken were rarely around. She's quieter than his other kids and he's not quite sure how far he can take the teasing.
Myrkr Eliron started calling her sister to try and make her feel more comfortable in the family, and now he means it. He loves her cheerful personality and willingness to be herself (she kind of reminds him of a Lyora he hasn't yet spoiled rotten XD). He also likes the fact she's always hugging, since by nature he's more physically affectionate than shows with most of his family. He thinks her fear of Druken and lack of confidence utterly ridiculous and is determined to remedy both.
Urazial Awesome baby-snatching Inseira who's even more awesome for stepping up into Lord Song. Enough said.
Druken Eliron's first opinion of Druken was he didn't know if he should kill him, kiss him, or both. Now he's fond of everything from Druken's confidence (and arrogance), to his aesthetic sense and intelligence, to his occasionally seen whimsical side. Druken's habit of terrifying new Inseiras amuses Eliron.
Arilyon One of the easiest people to talk to Eliron's ever met, and he's probably shared more of what he's actually feeling with her than with anyone else. He admires both that and her sense of duty. Start playing more when I'm around!
Arel Not been around much, but included because he had a huge impact on Eliron when Eliron was young. Eliron's always been in awe of Arel's ability to draw people to him and encourage them to not only follow Arel, but to work together. He's one of the most charismatic characters Eliron's interacted with. Eliron viewed him as a father figure when he first joined the Harbingers, though didn't ask to join the family since he was too old to be adopted by Vionne. Then Arel joined Serenwilde and had a very cold/realistic view about loyalties that convinced Eliron he was a Manipulative Bastard. Eliron took Arel's leaving a little too personally too really interact with him when he returned to Glom, but again El admired Arel's ability to convince people he should lead them. Arel's part of the reason El took Harbinger teachings the direction he did, ie charm, confidence and manipulate bastardry can be good things.
There are other people I really should do, like Kundu, but I'mma gonna stop spamming this now.

QUOTE(Myrkr @ Oct 20 2008, 09:57 AM) 573254
Myrkr hasn't had too much interaction with Lesk, aside from a spar and a debate. In the spar, which is where Myrkr usually fails hardest, she defeated -- er, well, her horse defeated -- Lesk. However, in a debate, which Myrkr has found herself to be quite good at recently, Lesk actually managed to top her, to the amazement of all present. Myrkr feels that Lesk may be one of her sons, but isn't sure just yet. What she does know is that she's determined to set things straight with him -- namely, beat him in a debate and have him beat her in a spar.
Lesk is somewhat apprehensive of Myrkr, but in a "is she insane, or..?" Kind of way. He finds it endearing though, in a way. He looks up to her, and sees both her and Urazial as a great challenge, and uses them as his benchmarks. They're also one of the two couples who Lesk thinks may be his parents, but he's not likely to say anything about it unless asked.
He's actually less likely to attempt any sillyness with Urazial around, as he sees Urazial as more of a stern figure, and is a little intimidated of the Harbinger. As I've already said, though, he trusts both of them to be fair with him, and not push him farther than he can take.
Most of the figures within the Shadowdancer leadership intimidate or frighten him, and he gives them all a healthy amount of respect and deferrance. one exception is Spinner Demuiq, who, while Lesk certainly trusts him and respects him, Lesk looks to as sort of a fatherly figure or a mentor, though he doesn't necessarily agree with the Spinner's opinions on every issue, most notably what Tah'vrai means to him.
And then there's Athine and Armand. Who he hasn't interacted much with, but has thoroughly enjoyed the interactions he's had. They're like the nice couple that likes to take the neighborhood kids out for icecream and fun. This is the other couple Lesk believes could be his parents, but again, isn't likely to comment on without prodding.
Along with them, there's Vincen, who Lesk sees as very odd, very quiet, and slightly insane, in a good way. He comes off as somewhat naive, but it's actually kind of charming for the most part.
Glydan strikes Lesk as a hardworking, no-nonsense kind of guy, who he's more than a little confused about. Still, they left the Portal at almost the same time, so he feels a kinship with the fox.
All of these people, as well as a few others I haven't mentioned for fear of misspelling the names (Som and Dae, for instance) are having quite an effect on the little guy, even if he doesn't show it all the time.
