And then there's Athine and Armand. Who he hasn't interacted much with, but has thoroughly enjoyed the interactions he's had. They're like the nice couple that likes to take the neighborhood kids out for icecream and fun. This is the other couple Lesk believes could be his parents, but again, isn't likely to comment on without prodding.
You obviously haven't interacted enough. Casilu's great grandfather is clearly insane.
Also, Myrkr has just completely lost it. Or she's a traitor. Either way, very little caring on this end.

Man, there are so many new Glommies out there I don't recognize! And I've only been gone for 2-3 months!

Casilu herself is also insane ... it must run in the family ...
Valarien2008-10-21 08:19:18
Oh man, count me in with the huge Glomdoring posts. Starting with the family!
Arilyon is Val's wife, and perhaps the first occasion where a relationship has worked out for the very best, as Val's had a rather poor history regarding that topic. Before Arilyon, Val was doubtful that love was even a real emotion whatsoever outside of a natural need to breed and create offspring. Arilyon means the world to Valarien, and probably the first person he's ever gotten overly jealous concerning. Arilyon also introduced Valarien to Nocht, which has further gone and shaped his life for the better. In essence, Arilyon is his other half through and through. Val goes out of his way a lot to be around her and stresses to himself when they're apart. Sometimes worries that he smothers her a bit.
Moriana Val's eldest daughter, whom he sees as having come well of age and is extremely proud of. Val is remorseful of all the time that they've spent apart, and feels that he needs to somehow make up for what was lost. Val still thinks that there remains some sort of rift in their relationship and that Moriana secretly feels closer to Maelee. He feels that she's made excellent decisions in her life, and only wants to see her happy.
Mikalia Val's youngest! Val is -incredibly- overprotective of Mikalia because of this, and has already threatened the lives of three separate individuals because of it. He's also proud of her workaholic attitude, as it reminds him a lot of how he was in his youth. He's also a bit worried that she'll overdo herself and burn out due to it much in the same way he did.
Urazial is held in high regard by Valarien and is one of the few people he genuinely relaxes around. Though he's probably seen as stern and intimidating by most, Val still remembers Urazial's furrikin self and has a hard time thinking of him as anything else. Val considers Urazial as something of a brother, and Godfather for Mikalia, even if he hasn't ever gone out and said it.
Myrkr is somebody that Valarien still watches, mainly due to her somewhat Seren tendencies and history. However, Valarien recognizes her devotion to the Glomdoring even if he has a small suspicion that it's only for Urazial. Either way, Myrkr's relationship with him makes her part of his ephemeral family and thus somebody he's a bit fond of.
Druken is always somebody that Valarien's held respect for in some way or another - Be it as a scholar or opponent once upon a time. Either way, their interactions in the past have caused Valarien to avoid him a bit to keep from inciting any potential old hostilities. Things could probably be patched up between the two of them, but Valarien remains hesitant.
Eliron is one of the new faces that've sprung up in his absence. While Valarien hasn't interacted with Eliron much, he knows that Arilyon is fond of him and trusts in her judgement. His proximity to Druken keeps Valarien at a bit of a distance.
Talan is another new face, and somebody Valarien secretly watches after. While he's no longer in the Shadowdancers, Valarien is a bit overly concerned about how things are functioning within at any given point in time. He sometimes worries that Talan is too young and inexperienced to be the Princess, and notes that sometimes she is prone to saying rather odd things. He attributes this to her not vocalizing most of her usually deep thinking. Regardless, he still respects her, her hard work, and her ideas.
Kundu is one of the few who were around when Valarien was about the first time, and somebody who's grown quite a bit. Valarien oftentimes has difficulty shaking the image he still has of Kundu from when he was just a young druid in the Blacktalon. They haven't interacted very much these days.

Glomdoring
Myrkr is the small, hyperactive faeling occasionally seen at the Ravenwood. Despite her seemingly positive attitude, Alacardael sees Myrkr as one of the people who show one face to the world yet keeps a darker, more serious personality on the inside. This is proven by the fact that she enjoys shattering others' egos, most notably her constant companion, Urazial.
Alike to a spider, Urazial likes to keep the best specimens closer to himself, and takes pride in the accomplishments of his minions. However, behind every man is a woman, and not even the Lord Song of the Harbingers can stand against the will of his fiancee, Myrkr.
Valarien is one of the upper circles of elitist Glomdoring: filthy rich, proud warrior, and resilient leader. He commands respect, yet is also able to communicate with the common folk.
Serenwilde
Xiel, Alacardael's father, is a man of perfection and excellence. He, too, spends his time productively: either through the honing of his own skills, or by improving his guild, the Spiritsingers. One of the more notable personalities of the Talnara House, he also actively tries to spread his family's name.
Aramel was one of the people who tried to convice Alacardael to return to the Serenwilde. Alacardael sees her as a motherly aunt, always probing the connections made by her nephews and nieces (probably because she has few children of her own). Not even Xiel could surpass the enthusiasm of Aramel to propagate the Talnara name.
More later, notably about Rika, Nejii, Doman, and others.

Somaria2008-10-22 07:45:10
Somaria has always had issues with keeping a constant feeling towards Urazial. Sometimes she enjoys his existence, and others, she'd love nothing more than to decorate the trees with his insides.
Many of those hard feelings came from their relationship which was filled with paranoia and the influence of other people.
They have a lot of the same opinions when both are completely informed of the given situation, though, regarding the Court, and that's enough to reign in Somaria's hostility.
She also likes Valarien, if only due to his willingness to submit to her needs during her election in the Nekotai. She went over the top when he got Ambassador, but lately is pleased to simply work with him. In time, she sees him as a worthy ally.

Somaria- Daedalion used to hate her with a passion when he was with Celina, mostly because she didn't like her. He soon grew attached to her when she started her advances, thankfully she didn't stop or he would still be the same person he always was trailing behind Celina like a puppy.
When they first started seeing eachother, Daedalion saw her as a toy he could be amused with as he was paticularly bored in those times. But as their relationship grew different aspects of himself started to come out, things I've never gotten to play out due to the situations of his other relationships. He soon started to love her as a person who could stand beside him, and while he still has a certain "Ownership" complex with her, it's not the same.
Through Somaria, Daedalion has gotten to know his romantic side and seen what love really is. She is the only person he would give up everything for, and not regret it for a second. His jealous side sometimes shows and he can't really stand to not be beside her, although he doesn't show it.

Daedalion: Somaria has always respected Daedalion, though disliked his taste in women, aka Celina. Daedalion, when alone, was much easier to get along with.
Their relationship started for two reasons, the most prominent being that Somaria's children (Nikatar and Mihewi) had pointed out Daedalion when Somaria asked who they would like as a father. Their selection provided her with another excuse to lash out at Celina and Somaria welcomed it.
When they began seeing eachother, Celina was still married to Daedalion. There was a peck here, a peck there, in the treetops of Glomdoring, gradually developing into a heavy affair in the confines of her manse. Somewhere in this timeframe, Somaria became a lady, a politician, and a businesswoman, instead of a manager of whores. This is completely thanks to Daedalion, due to the changes Somaria had to make to win him over.
Daedalion took instant control of the relationship as soon as Somaria convinsed him to leave Celina (though it was her Great House that had anchored him).
Since then, Daedalion's helped heal wounds from past nightmares (Haiden, Razeal, etc), and inspired Somaria to press forward, eventually leading her to her seat upon the Shadow Court. He's taken her dancing in her favorite spot on Ethereal, for a picnic on the beach, and generally displayed to her what love was mean't to be, rather than what she had thought it was.
She would do anything for Daedalion, viewing him as her 'Master' and 'Owner' in many aspects, mostly at his prodding. He is the only man she has ever agreed to submit to, regardless of the request, and she has never regretted that decision.
Daedalion is a wonderful father in her eyes, a husband she can rely on when necessary (despite her constant struggle to remain somewhat self-sufficient), a warrior she can respect, and a lover she can rarely get enough of.
Somaria wouldn't trade Daedalion for anything, including have Fain at her feet- and that is saying something.

Let's see...Gregori. Gregori is a right bastard. Always seen him as a hardass fanatic that could tear you down or build you up. Not the easiest character to get along with but if you did, you had a friend who'd tell you when you're an idiot and when you're not. Always seen him as diehard loyal as well. Nothing could make him leave beyond, I dunno, destroying the Serenwilde and even then I could see him trying to save Hart and spirit him away to safety. Just generally a blunt type of guy who doesn't sugar-coat himself to be liked.

Sarrasri: What can I say, she's my e-wife, and though she can piss me off sometimes, I don’t really think I'd want anyone else. She agreed my random OOC proposal over a clan, and I seduced her with herbs and lies instead of flowers and sweet words, and bam, I was in.
They've been married three times now, for various reasons, the first was to play a joke on the Talnaras, letting her get engaged to Kalodan, due to the massive Talnara hate on Kalodan, it was pretty funny, ending in me and Kalodan duelling for her. Second was for me to finally get into my family, which didn't work but she's always taken it in stride.
Bright, funny, witty, smart, I could go on and on about how awesome she is, but she already knows that, I don’t regret all the crap I bought her, the collar, custom ring and magic rune, many trans skills, free herbs, and even my awesome ship with the fountain, garden, two non-decay gems, 11 rooms, and all that (Damn I miss my ship, my poor poor ship, what has she done to you! ) , I would spend more on her, except all that's left is a pet, and her pet is hard to get .
Though they've had their many ups and downs, including her killing him lots when he was still Magnagoran, she's always been supportive of his inaction and will not to do anything in general, and even takes him hunting when he complains about her not taking him hunting, and doesn't get pissed when he turns around and says no. Even with his insane schemes of taking over the Talnaras, or contesting random positions for no reason, she's always willing to roll along with the joke, or even smack him when he's being a retard.
She's always been loyal, to him, to Serenwilde, to her guild, to her friends, always trying to help out as much as she can, though she does tend to hog the events just a little bit, but these things need to be taken in strides. I'm glad she spawned their fifteen odd kids, because it allows me to blame the bad ones on me, and the good ones on her!

So, I'm doing a Domoth as a demigod.
Nejii has been someone Rika has always looked up to. She may never admit it, but she really admires and loves him. She often feels neglected by him, but understands this is bound to happen with a family as large as hers.
Casilu is seldom serious and often unconfident in herself. When Rika first met her, she seemed to be too scared to do anything, but over time, she has grown more and more confident. Rika loves Casilu with all her heart, and will never want to see her hurt. Sometimes Rika has seen Casilu's lack of confidence as a burden, but in the end, she knows Casilu does her best.
Hey look, that got me through at least part of the Domoth. I should do this more often.

Hmm!
Sarrasri is strong willed, and doesn't let things like politics, alliances, and treaties color her beliefs. Her sharp edged (I make a lucidian pun! hehe!) honesty and zealous nature are two of the reasons Akui loves her- which is good, as Sarra is her mother. Akui feels comfortable being herself around Sarrasri, and doesn't hesitate to share her morbid and inappropriate sense of humor with her, knowing Sarra will "get it".
Halamir is a good match for Sarrasri, and a caring father, though less in the "how was your day dear?" way, and more in the "Dear, please hand me my lance so I can joust your mother's wyvern with my cave bear" sort of way. Akui got the "forging gene" from Halamir (despite the fact that he is no longer a forger), and also probably her aversion to pursuing political positions, or for that matter, taking part in ogranized ranking systems at all.
Akui doesn't know Gregori that well, but finds that, as a rude, blunt, bastard, he possesses three endearing qualities. It helps too that he is of the group of people that Akui doesn't feel she needs to worry about being corrupted by the politics and interests of the cities.
