Hmm, guess I'll add in little parts!

Sarrasri, Lekius admires that she's eager to help Serenwilde in anyway she can, through Domoths, defending, leading covens, etc. She really has this thing about things either being helpful for the Serenwilde, or not mattering, and it's quite cool!

Gregori is another one of the "old-folks" that's been around forever and Lekius has again come to admire because of his dedication to Serenwilde.

I can't really talk about any other folks in Serenwilde right now cause Lekius hasn't had too close of interaction with 'em outside of SEG or Moonhart conversations.

Lekius was Somaria's first love. There are still a lot of bitter and unresolved feelings there, but it doesn't stop her from moving on with her life. It's safe to say that without Lekius's influence, Somaria would likely have more of a 'Sthai'ish attitude, as he always pushed her to feel something more substantial rather than grasp what was simply there and raw.

Still, she had a very cold demeanor when it came to him, often finding herself jealous when he'd wander off, but irritated when he'd cling to her side.

In the end, it was a fairly bad match. The way she sees it, it's all his fault, and he ended up where he belonged.
Kelysa2008-11-02 20:56:02
Alright, I'll try!

Sarrasri is pretty much the best mentor imaginable. Probably secretly responsible for alot of Kelysa's political views and tendency towards the more zealous side of things. (Though Kely is admittedly more moderate). Sarrasri's always been there for her and really helped her feel like she belonged again when she came out of her long inactivity.

Akui - Kelysa doesn't really know Akui that well but likes what little quips and witty hilarity she's heard from her from time to time. Being Sarrasri's daughter Kelysa tends to just assume she's probably pretty awesome anyways.

Halamir - Kelysa and Halamir don't get along very well. Kelysa has gotten upset enough at Halamir to toad him. Halamir rubs her the wrong way. That is all that comes to mind. tongue.gif
Tervic2008-11-02 21:04:31
Halamir and Tervic are boot buddies and frequently nod to each other whilst jumping the Astral Spheres. Halamir also loves to torment Tervic for what seems to me like no reason at all, especially on the Order Channel. The upside is that there is actually conversation on OT. The downside is that Elostian often chimes in and ends up making me feel like a tool, but I know he only does it because he <3's me. I hope....

Casilu just has a sick mind, always asking me to design forging patterns for whacked up stuff like.... well... stuff that isn't forums-sanitary. *shiver*

Kialkarkea's a bit of an oddball. He's married to Tervic's unofficially adopted daughter, Bellarin, but what seems to be his frequent use of a mirror of gender switching is a bit... disconcerting. However, Bellarin is happy with him (her?) and that's all that really matters to Tervic with regards to his childrens' mates.

I only know Akui OOCly, but I must say, wub.gif^wub.gif for making many of my otherwise very boring days vastly more entertaining.

Now that Ried's moved and gotten to know some people...

Kelysa is pretty nice, if strict, but that's preferable to a lenient GA. Ried feels she can depend on Kelysa to answer her questions accurately and thoroughly, and feels comfortable enough to go to Kelysa as if she was her mentor in the Moondancers. She'd like to get to know Kelysa more, perhaps as a friend, but feels she doesn't have enough rank and experience as a member of the Moondancers or of Serenwilde to be worthy of the honor.

Ried views Sarrasri in much the same way, though the latter's status as an Avatar of Charune intimidates Ried.

I know I saw Iola a few pages back, and Ried feels really comfortable around Iola - moreso than with Kelysa or Sarrasri. Iola was more open and accepting of a former enemy, and for that, Ried is thankful. While Kelysa and Sarrasri are great role models for Ried, Iola is the motherly sort of person she's attracted to.

Oh, and if we backtrack to Glomdoring for a moment, Ried's views on Somaria are... cautious at best. Ried naturally doesn't trust people, and she doesn't trust people who flaunt or show off, especially those in high positions of power. She feels that leaders should always be composed, cool-headed, and strict with their members but gentle with their novices. From her observations of Somaria, especially around the Master Ravenwood, she feels Somaria is a bit too immature and uncomposed, but Ried belongs to Serenwilde now, so Glomdoring's affairs don't affect her.

That's Myrkr. I wanted the maces made from severed heads.
Ashteru2008-11-02 21:19:17
Ashteru is really awesome. He's cool, relaxed and good looking. And has lots of friends. His god adores him and the women grovel as soon as they see him. That's why he's hiding n a manse nowadays, didn't want to hurt Glomdorings daily dealings. He hates drama and makes fun of everyone who takes himself too serious. Harrdiharr.

Still disturbing.
Tervic2008-11-02 21:23:43
Because she's lurking....

Arkzrael!

I may be biased, given that Tervic is married to her, but she is most assuredly quite adorable. Even though her mind sometimes wanders off into the Void, making for very extended awkward pauses, she always gives 100% to everything she does, whether it be trying to make Tervic blush in public, find children to adopt, or work for the Glory of Glomdoring. <3

I knew you were either going to post nothing or something about your own character. rolleyes.gif
Arkzrael2008-11-02 21:53:49
Ah, god...I guess I gotta say something...

Tervic is, of course, Arkie's hubby. Though most perceive him as off his rocker, Arkzrael feels like he's about the only person that makes sense. Since Arkie's transition from goose-stepping Nazi Shadowdancer through her leave to roguehood, Celest, and now back to Glomdoring, Tervic's been the one person to bring light to the dark and make her feel like she's not crazy. He's Arkie's favorite person, with an answer to everything, even if the answer has to be 'PIE!'. She's madly in love with him, and is content to follow him around like a puppy-dog whereever he goes.

Kundu has been Ark's best friend since they were...novices. Arkie looks up to him because he's always well put together, calm, and straightforward. She could tell him any secret, and he would take it to the grave. He also knows that all work and no play makes Kundu a dull boy, so from time to time he'll do something crazy that makes Arkie giggle...like wearing pink frilly panties around the forest (yes, I remember that!)

Ashteru is Arkie's ex husband. I think she feels she's probably the only person who actually sees a truly good and useful side of him...he's always talking about himself and basking in his own glory, but when someone needs something, or a big bear to climb up and snuggle on, he's there...as long as you buff up his ego just a little bit. She regards him as more of a playmate now after their divorce, which was a pretty peaceful quiet 'we never see eachother' kind of thing. He can back up his ego most of the time, which is why Arkie puts up with his chatterings at all...even when he's announcing that the Order banner is a picture of him naked wrestling a lion.

Leiliadhe is deliciously demented, with that 'I don't give a damn' attitude that Arkie actually looks up to. She's pretty good at knocking Arkie back to earth when she's in a fray.

Moralis is Arkie's favorite playmate. She thinks he's frequently an idiot, but he's about the only person who can keep up with her when she gets into one of those hyper, terrorizing sort of moods.

Daedalion IS an idiot in Arkie's perception, because he takes things too seriously that he doesn't need to care about, but he's hilarious when he's angry and fun to play tag with.
Shaddus2008-11-02 21:54:19
Rika is thoughtful and friendly, quite generous to those who have less than she does. She doesn't throw her weight around as Regent, she has a more delicate touch with leadership.
Rika2008-11-02 21:55:53
OMG WHO ARE YOU?!

Tervic is very thankful that Moralis is around when Arkzrael goes into one of those hyper, terrorizing sort of moods. But then again, sometimes he isn't because more often than not, Tervic himself is the victim of the hyper, terrorizing sort of moods which are then only amplified by Moralis. Meep.

Tervic and Moralis playing 'who can almost kill the other one...OOPS I DIED!' is not Arkie's fault v.v
Aerotan2008-11-02 22:59:57
Hmm...round two time?

Aerotan hasn't had much interaction with many people, but some of the more notable ones are:

Sarrasri, who's been in several ranking positions within the Moondancers and the Wilde itself. He sees her as a matronly figure as a consequence. Friendly, but not one to interact with unless it's important.

Rika is in a similar vein, though I'm fairly certain she's never been a ranking 'dancer. If Aerotan tugs on Rika's sleeve, chances are he's in relatively large amounts of trouble. Like, "Glommies gon' kill me for un-undeading a miner" trouble. Either that or he heard Globglob active, and is contributing his part by pestering those capable of killing him.

Kielo is an old flame of his, and part of the reason Aero's been a Moonie almost as long as ascendants have been around. (We're talking, like Ayridion, btw, not Illyarin, Shuyin, Nejii, et al.) It was a romance that never was, but Aerotan doesn't resent or regret that. He's quite happy that the other was able to be happy with Xiel, who he envies, but in a friendly way.

Lendren Aero sees as almost a father figure, which is significant because before Lendren, the only males he'd ever really seen in any kind of role-model position had been Kalaak and Wuylinfe as a Celestine.

More to come! Stay tuned.
