Sthai is possibly one of the best RP'ers in the game, hands down. Seriously, she scares me at times. Her moods change on a whim, she's almost ALWAYS in control of her surroundings. Shaddus looks up to her, and secretly detests her, at the same time.

Somaria likes Shaddus because he builds her furniture when available. That's as far as their relationship goes however. She doesn't respect him in the least and prefers to focus her attentions on more important or worthwhile things. Like her kids and 'protege'.

OOCly I don't ever see Shaddus roleplaying, honestly. dry.gif At least not in any memorable way.

Why, cause I don't sleep wth everyone who bats their eyes at me.

Know what, I'm going to shut up. Shaddus RP's as a hulking bloodthirsty brute, with a sensitive, furniture making side. That's about it. He has layers, but Somaria was too busy flirting with him, trying to get higher in the guild/order, to really get to know him.

Myrkr's gone hunting with Shaddus a couple of times. He came off as polite, kind, interesting, and patient -- to an extent. By the time Myrkr was ready to go for her fifth hunting trip in a month (RL day) Shaddus was pretty much burned out, and subsequently avoided all hunting trips thereafter with her.

She also filled two or so kegs for him before the War. Never missed a payment, Shaddus. Overall, Myrkr thinks he's a good person, even if he avoided hunting trips with her, and would like to get back into contact with him, along with a couple of other Mags she had talked with pre-War.

Yes, because that's exactly what I do. rolleyes.gif

On a brighter note, I've only ever interracted with Myrkr on an alt, but I loved her to death. Very fun, very energetic. A refreshing change to the rp Somaria falls into much too often.

Edit: Because I didn't bother reading this part till after..

Somaria never flirted with Shaddus. Callia had more power. Flattered you thought that was the intention though. happy.gif
Krackenor2008-08-27 02:44:14
Somaria is, like most other Illithoids Krackenor has encountered, ignorant of her own heritage. Yet she, unlike most other Illithoids Krackenor has encountered, is open to education and learning. She was the first guinea pig in his attempt to inform the Illithoid people

Outside of that, there is little in the way of interaction, unfortunately.

Casilu thinks of Krackenor sort of as someone she left behind, but still as a friend. After becoming a faeling again, what little connection they had was gone, but she still feels attached to him in a weird sort of way, after all those immolation runs she made, especially. She wants to help him change away from the Taint and Illithoid, but the thoughts really aren't that close to the front of her mind and she sometimes forgets about him completely, as she does with nearly anything.
Celina2008-08-27 02:50:30
Somaria is pretty interesting. She's either in total control or on the verge of breaking into pieces. She's manipulative on a whole new level, ambitious and will use who she needs to get where she wants, but she cares about people and this sometimes gets in the way. She wants to be cold and detached, but she keeps getting wrapped up in feelings. She's proud but can crumble under pressure and doubt. She's very black and white at times, and is endlessly fascinating. I enjoy RPing with her, even when she's getting me kicked out of GLomdoring tongue.gif

Now *here's* someone I can really comment on!

Myrkr loves Casilu deeply, as she is Myrkr's most favorite cousin. After the death of Arukashi and Ahnn, and the vanishing of Cappen, Casilu was the only one related to Myrkr who made her feel like there was something to family. Even after their numerous awkward encounters and Myrkr getting killed by Casilu, Myrkr still loved Casilu to bits. Myrkr isn't sure how she feels about Illithoid, but, she knows she loves her cousin. Casilu is a very good ear (no mass-telling her with sob stories!) and a much deeper character than she lets on. Also, she has awesome (albeit painful) jokes. And she's an uber-fun hunting buddy. If Casilu feels you're very important to her, she does tend to get a bit on the clingy side, though! (Casilu, see: Kelysa vs. Casilu for time-spending with Myrkr)

Lofty. Ambitious, sometimes ambitious without the means to actually do anything. An idealist to the extreme, but lacking the crusader's edge.

Since she did get any critique lovin'..
I absolutely adore Celina. Somaria respects her immensely, though she realizes that to protect herself, she can't push a friendship. Celina is passionate about Fain, probably the most difficult Divine to really stick with, and that in itself is admirable. However, other than Fain, there's little else Celina seems to care about aside from the d'Murani. It's difficult to chip through the hard extrerior, and I love that.

Since Somaria stole my critique, looks like I'll have to settle with Veyda. Ashteru covered the overly-ambitious part, but I think it should be made very clear that Veyda has zero follow-through. He has these great ideas and wants to do everything, but manages to complete only half the things before disappearing on another project (a lot like Lusternian development >.>). That said, the projects he does complete turn out very well because Veyda is intelligent - slightly insane, but intelligent.
Astraea2008-08-27 03:34:59
I rather like Synl. He comes off as dark and certainly a tad mysterious, but not in a cliche way. Synl seems to me like a very enigmatic person who exudes power on the level of the likes of Xenthos, Shayle, and a good portion of the older guard of Glomdoring who were very charismatic, very strong (Physically and emotionally), and slightly off their rocker. If there were a royal nobility of Glomdoring, I think Synl would be a part of it, or at the very least, one of those conniving advisors (Read: Jafar).

Because I don't know Astraea or Krackenor, and you posted on the thread, this one is for Kelysa!

Kelysa is a very ambitious character who likes to push others to do the best that they can. She is very set in following Moon and Lisaera, but she is also a very loyal friend. Kelysa truly enjoys being helpful, and when she is proud of something, she has a tendency to show it off, even if it means dragging people to her manse. Kelysa is an inspirational character that Myrkr is starting to learn more about. Myrkr secretly hopes Kelysa can teach her how to have a backbone when dealing with people who are not strangers, and thinks Kelysa needs to have more children to share her wisdom with.
