Kialkarkea to Daem is Valonah's friend. He views him as opinionated and happy with himself in that regard. He knows what he believes and does what he thinks is best without letting authority figures get him down. Aside from that he thinks he's a loving father and that's something Daem admires in males. I don't really know him as a character very much, just small observations Daem has had.
Edit: Also he's full of Glom spirit

Remember. I will never EVER do something because you tell me to. I do it because you have requested that I do, and I have decided to listen to you for now.

Daem is one of the nicest people Reiha has met. He doesn't have an ounce of vitriol in his body. He seems very mature and kind, although there's a certain youthful vibe to him. They don't speak much, but he's made a very good impression.

Reiha is a frigging artifact keg of awesomesauce. If I was a poisonist, I'd buy gloves just so I could squeeze it out of her. No matter what mood I'm in, she cheers me up with a quick smile and a hug, or on rare occasions, a smooch and a punch/pinch. Lusternia wouldn't be the same without this wonderful person.

Dakkhan2009-04-07 23:18:21
Dakkhan is an alcoholic Dwarf with a troubled past. He tries to be cunning, strong, and humorous for his peers. He's devoted and loyal, but he can also be a burden at times after too long with the bottle. Some have said that he has height issues, and doesn't like being teased about it.
Born and raised in Rockholm, Dakkhan lived a normal Dwarven life until Shock Troopers from Magnagora came to raid his home and kill him and his family. Yet, when they woke up in Angkrag... they were undead, stronger, and smarter than ever before. An odd thing, being killed by your oppressors... but even odder still to be glad it happened! Oh, how happy he was to be reunited with his family! It made him wonder why they had ever been alive in the first place.
It didn't take long for him to fall in love with the Macabre. He worked until his dead body could take no more, smelting steel and catching drunken orcs. On his nineteenth birthday, it was clear he was better with his axe than any of the enslaved orcish warriors that resided in Angkrag. So he left to start his life anew in the Engine of Transformation, and enrolled in the Ur'Guard. Now, he's being whipped into shape by his peers.
Barely a Trooper, half a Krokani... but twice the alcohol tolerance!

Pffft. I check my manse perms every month to make sure no one has been fiddling.

Daem has met Reiha many times throughout his life, she even enchanted rings for him for free just for taking her into the Glomdoring to the commodities. (This was when nobody was allowed in Glom except for Gloms) She's always been nice to him. She's given him the funniest mistells while trying to talk to Daedalion a few of which I still have saved. He knows more than he wants too about her but aside from that she's always been helpful and nice, I've really never seen her mean. He's excited to have her in the Glomdoring.

Ried thinks Daem is hilarious even though they've never met, if only because they had an interesting exchange once when they were both hunting in the Undervault.
Ried's not quite sure what to think of Vorung yet, except that he may very well be her son. So far, he has not let her down and has proven hard-working and trustworthy, and looks forward to seeing what else he can do.

Lawliet2009-04-08 15:46:10
Lawliet thinks Kialkarkea is a wonderful, kind person who's occasionally a bit silly, she's concerned that he went back to Glom because she fears it'll change him. She does dislike that he keeps on messing around with gender though as she can't imagine him as anything else but a man. She sees him as her best friend and as someone she can talk to about almost anything... almost.
Aoife2009-04-08 16:36:02
Aoife was (slightly) confused by Daem at first, primarily because she originally thought he was 18 and chattering about the good old days of being the guild champion, etc. Obviously she didn't realize that it was just Penumbra. In any case, he strikes her as being quite a bit more cheerful/enthusiastic and openly friendly than some of the other Shadowdancers, especially the older ones. She also has trouble getting a read on his relationship with Valonah, which perturbs her just a tiny bit.
Unknown2009-04-08 18:57:02
Vorung looks up to Ried. He is very certain that she is his mother, and he enjoys the fact he is not riddled with a mother that would coddle him. He also enjoys the fact Ried gave him two rapiers and trusted him with them.
Shishi2009-04-09 17:03:59
To me Aoife is quietly trying to find her place in the Shadowdancers. She has a little bit of City corruption in her (At least as Daem sees it) and is overcoming it quite well and adapting with grace as a Shadowdancer should. She's doing better at realizing Night's teachings and studying to become a good Shadowdancer than any other former city folk. He's actually convinced that she'll stay around, most former cit folk don't stay in the Shadowdancers long. She's nice and eager and really needs to finish her paths and apply for a Spinner position. I think she'd be a good Undersec and a Sec someday. Daem can't decide whether he'd want her in the Binding circle because she's the personality who would think of the fae like he does, or in the Wisdom circle because she did very well on the ritual she performed for Valonah and him.
In a nutshell sort of like Valonah only with a different flair. Lighter ideals, happy person from what I see, wants to belong, and wants to help.
