I really need to start putting effort in RP again.
Unknown2009-09-10 13:26:39
Yeah, so do I. Especially since this is pretty much all I have to say about people who have recently posted.
Alacardael: Needs to start selling more esteem instead of using it for himself. Jerk.
Astraea: Seems to share more in common with Rowena than she would let on, or care to admit.
Celina: Is a glutton for punishment. All too often she throws herself blindly and willingly into compromising situations, to the point where it's hard to believe there is anything accidental about it. Perhaps it is just a taste for danger instead?
Ishant: From our few interactions, appears intelligent, patient, and honest. His lack of knowledge regarding stargazing was a bit disturbing, but permissible for a leader as they don't always have time for such things.
Nicholo: Is that one guy that got killed that one time by the elevator. He seemed to take it pretty well, so good on him.
Rancoura: Apt and methodical, though prone to letting time march on its own without acting or speaking. Even for things that require no extra thought or consideration. Patience is a virtue, but then there's also simply being a slowpoke!
Sadhyra: Under the attitude, there is little else besides exuberance and directive. The latter might be a result of the former, however, which makes handling her a careful exercise.
Tynghall: He talks funny and acts even stranger. At least he doesn't seem terribly pushy.

Celina is hilariously cynical.

We're going to call my forger Bob, since I actually want to keep my this alt a secret.
Bob looks up to Tynghall as a fellow Ebonguard, and one who is more experienced than he. Bob is also thankful for the loan of Tynghall's clubs before he could forge his own hammers.
Bob is IMMENSELY grateful to Sadhyra, and respects her a great deal for talking to him when he was beside himself with fear.
Bob is quite frightened of whoever keeps haunting him, especially since he really has no way of knowing who it is, and doesn't fully understand what's happening to him.

So far Karel seems interesting, a bit of a blank slate to Othero. A shame he is a geomancer as he will most likely fall in with the rest of them and lose his marbles, but if perhaps the right person snatched onto him then he could be saved. All comes down to if he is as intelligent as Othero thinks he is.

Gah! Too many Glomdoring folk!
When it comes to Shuyin, Ev feels nothing but disgust and contempt. The great respect and loyalty he once held for Shuyin evaporated the moment he left for the Glomdoring, leaving a void that was quickly filled by rage at the betrayal. Shuyin is just another example of how power makes one weak and pathetic, choosing the easy path of mass slaughter over a more noble path such as loyalty and compassion.
Aiyana is one of many people Ev has learned to just ignore. He feels that she makes a huge dramatic fuss over the littlest of things. As far as he is concerned, she has no real accomplishments of her own because in his eyes, everything she ever earned was given to her by Gregori. Ev merely brushes her aside whenever she speaks.
And to break up the negativity :
Everiine is fascinated by Rancoura. He knows so few Trill, and even less care that they are Trill. But Rancoura cares a great deal about what it means to be a Trill, and that draws Ev to her. On top of that, against his wishes, he finds himself drawn to her, either because she is distant and mysterious or seductive, as all Trill should be. He isn't sure if he wants to get to know her better or keep her at a far distance, as with non-Seren he assumes that there is a knife waiting to plunge into his back the moment it is turned.

Aiyana has absolutely no respect for Everiine, and firmly believes he is a traitor with no backbone. She also fails to see how Everiine 'brushes her aside whenever she speaks', seeing as she has better things to do than talk to a person she believes is scum in the very swamp he was drowned in.
Eamon, however, she holds a lot of respect for. Saddened that he decided to leave the Hartstone, she may seek this as an oppertunity to get to know the once-Elder Druid on a more personal, friendly level now that they're not bound by the guild's respectful means and doings.

Aside from my not being around so much, what do people think of Mimi the Paladin as compared to Mimi the Celestine?

Hardly fair to ask when you're not around very much

Law lurves Beldoria, too
She hates Celina for the obvious raiding and all that, wants to shove her fist down Celinas throat and watch her slowly choke on it.
She looks down on Sadhyra for a certain trading incident between the two.
She likes Nicholo because he's cute occasionally

Ev knows nothing about the Shadowdancers, so he just assumes it's because Rancoura is a Trill.

Knorrith gives Kira headaches, and lots of em. She loves the little big guy though, and sees so much potential in him. In fact, most headaches are probably self-inflicted, as she keeps pushing Knorrith to get up and do stuff. She's certain that he could do so much if he'd just lift his snout out from his navel and stopp with the frowns. She also considers him one of the few individuals she feels comfortable with confiding stuff to. Usually, Kira has major trust issues, but not with Knorrith, which also makes him a life saver of sorts.
Summa summarum, she's quite content with Knorrith.

I really don't understand that. I appreciated you doing a service, so I gave you a big tip. Because of that, you proceeded to gloat over how much you "screwed" me over, payment-wise, despite the fact that I was the one who originally offered the initial price, high as it was.
Do people not tip much in Lusty or something?

I'm sure Lawliet gets huge tips, but they have nothing to do with payment.
Anyway, yeah, alot of people (myself included) just charge comms and ask for whatever they want to tip.
