I think everyone is pretty aware of the amount of inactive Gods in each org's consulate. I was wondering what the higher ups are planning to do about this? It feels like only a very few Gods have stuck around for the long-run, many of them eventually disappearing. In a way this is to be expected, because most of the Gods are only player volunteers, but is this a sustainable way to maintain things? Of course, they could always be brought back with a different player behind them, but how many Ephs want to play a secondhand (can't think of another term for it) God role? (actually curious about this, I don't know how the Ephs are distributed around)

On the other hand, I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time Isune's been 'revived', and she's been MIA for nearly a month already. I've been in an Order for a really long time, and have only been able to have Orderly interactions maybe... <10% of that time, though that 10% has been some of the more enjoyable moments I've had here. At the very least, it might be nice to have some notification of a God's status, so the players can decide if it's safe to move on or not yet.

Now regarding the whole God thing, I've also wondered, since in my opinion there's two Gods who may be the two most interesting neutral-ish Gods that would give the players more roleplaying options, and also Gods that happen to be really inactive. That is, Shikari and Auskeris.

And given that they are really interesting it makes me wonder why they don't choose them and instead go with creating new gods.

The new Charune was a good option, but he could've also taken the mantle of Auskelis. Eventru while his personality is quite strog, he could've be a little more aggressive Lyreth. Maylae could've been Isune instead, but I think the current Isune was in the position when Maylae came out. Nocht could've played the role of Shikari, perhaps.

Now Estarra, that's a Goddess that really only appears every year. If she could be more active I might like her more

I take offense to the suggestion Shikari would be a neutral god.

Wellllllll... technically, he is.

He's aligned because of his sister, but he didn't have an actual direct connection to things left behind in the Forest after the War (like Night/Nocht or Crow/Viravain). Without Vira, he'd probably have been unaligned.

However, his whole "loyalty" angle, and Vira being his sister, planted him pretty firmly in Glom alongside her. People not really looking at that part of it could easily consider him neutral, however.

I feel like this thread was made for the sole purpose of hijacking O_o
