I don't see how! There's a difference between apologising and taking it back and just pretending he didn't say it when he figures it out.

This is badly defined and I don't see the need for it to begin with (plus it's unenforceable, but so is the no talking outside the game rule so we'd have to deal). Firstly, -why- shouldn't you be able to take character traits into account? If I start acting scummy and outside of my normally townie patterns, you can't expect people to easily disregard that as a scum tell. I'd just need to play better. Secondly, it's not even necessarily clear to people when they're doing it. If I start getting defensive over everything, that wouldn't necessarily seem like a scum sign coming from anyone else, but since it's me doing it people might find that suspicious without any conscious intent to "metagame" (whatever that even means in a forum-based non-roleplaying game).

What it means in this case is, no lynching Revan and Rika just because they killed the last game. And no repeats of the 'New World Order' incident.

That's not the same as no metagaming at all.
