When it works it works great. Problem is it doesn't always work. I have more than a few sites just hang up that I would normally be able to view with any other browser.

I got to like page 29, but then accidentally clicked back and couldn't be arsed clicking all the way forward again since there was no "archive"...heh.

Here you go. In a better format.

The only complaints I have so far: 1) is that if I click down the scroll wheel it won't bring up that little image that I find so very helpful to let me quickly scroll. 2) On FF I could have it so that every word doc I downloaded didn't pop up the download box, and also opened in word without being prompted. :C
Stangmar2008-09-03 16:17:12
I've never really used that click down scroll feature, so i don't miss that, and the minor inconvenience of word docs is fine in exchange for higher speed.
Unknown2008-09-03 16:23:40
My only complaint... can't even use it on Macs yet =( Oh well, the comic is cool, albeit extremely long.
Stangmar2008-09-03 16:29:31
That's because PC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mac biggrin.gif

Are you being facetious in your signature with McCain/Palin 2008? Because I always THOUGHT you were cool. *stare*

I am an honest supporter, and i'm still pretty damn cool biggrin.gif

You may be a supporter, but those who support them are clearly lying to themselves and everyone they know. No honesty about it! quickexit.gif

That's enough de-rail, kiddos!

I really like Chrome's simplicity and speed, but I'll be glad when it has more of the features I'm now missing. I want my AdBlock Plus! And, their installation imported 99% of my bookmarks fine but dropped a few, and my (imported) stored passwords don't work at all.

Loving, loving, loving Chrome!

Is there an option to turn off tabbed browsing, before I even bother?

I also disliked the tabbed browsing which IE has. Drove me up the wall, so much so I turned it off within 10 minutes of using it. However, with Chrome, it's been really smooth and the layout and how the tabs work is so much better. I've been messing around on Google Chrome all day now and have had less (zero) problems so far, whereas IE would have crashed on me a few times already.

hmm, i couldn't run java on it, so, no nexus with it

Read this and download the needed java stuff, you'll be able to play on Nexus then.
Stangmar2008-09-03 16:59:54
Tabbed browsing is a necessity.

While I may agree with you. They may not really be lying to themselves. Perhaps those two are really who they want... shocked.gif

Well, Google basically owns anything you submit using the browser.

Then again, there's no real way for them to possibly know what you submitted using it, but still.

It says that anything that crosses Chrome in any form will be duplicable by Google with no payment to you. Anything at all.

See here:

However, this isn't really relevant anymore as Google is changing the EULA and removing that section.

Again, I don't understand the point.

Chrome displays data. It displays data that it did not create. This is what web browsers do. Google collects data about what users watch, view, interact with and use that information to better enhance their services. That is what the company is all about. I'm not sure I understand the point of pointing out the weird legal language in the Eula.
