I'm guessing that one side hit someone who was immune to conversion, or someone who was protected.. Assuming that we have a doctor, of course, and we're not all vanilla countries waiting to be converted. :/

Well in the last few mafia games I've played there was a high chance to catch scum among those posting little. So it was a viable guess. :/

Though who knows what this game will be like with all those conversions.

Just as the UN troops blows the capital city of Paris up, the French representative tries to reveal that they may know more about something. However, it was too late for both France and the UN, as the city, and nation was no more. Later reports reveal that France was a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, and had used these powers to investigate the workings of the other nations, to support the supposed neutrality of the UN. For future reference, me not posting is never a scum signal. Look at the Epic Mafia game, and then the RL Pantheon one. Both times I at least moderately active, and I always miss the first parts of the games.

Although in this case I really do understand why it happened. I'm really wishing I had said something at night after all. I just didn't want it to be obvious I had a night ability if I post during the night about how I just read the thread, and then the day magically begins immediately afterwards.

It is suspected that even with Cuba's nuclear weapons gone, other nations have also developed their nuclear weapons. The issue of defence of some of the weaker nations has now been brought up before the United Nations. Should they increase the military funding of these weaker nations, or should they just ignore them?

In the last year or so, celebrations of a successful liberation of one nation was the highlight of international news. However, now, another nation has been converted.

See, I have a slight problem with increasing Military funding. What stops the bigger nations from using it against the smaller ones in the end?

The UN has been shown to not prevent this really.

It actually says it would increase the funding of the smaller nations themselves, not the large superpowers. So, small weak countries would be the only benefactors.

Ok, so it looks like we have a "cult doctor"

To me, this makes me think that only the Town would want to 'nuke' anyone, and the only people we would nuke are the heads of the cults.

I've been suspicious of him since day one when he utterly argued me, claiming capitalism isn't bad when we were talking about capitalism as -cult- in this game.

Also, looking back his posts, he always simply bandwagoned once it was clear someone had the majority votes on them or another decision was closed to being reached.

In summary, he simply sets my scumdar of. A lot.
