Well, it's so-so. There's a 3/15 chance of it benefiting scum and a 12/15 of it benefiting town. To some extend we -always- have to expect these nominations to benefit scum - I doubt there's ever going to be something were we can 100%tly say that it will only help town. In this case though I'd say the chances are vastly higher for town to benefit.. so yeah. I think we should take the risk in this case.

Where do you get these numbers from?

The scum converts people. This means that say 12/15 people gain nukes, then every night that they scum converts another person, they gain another nuke on thier side to use.

That ofcourse assumes they use nukes.

Perhaps it just gains a defense against nukes, making nukes useless. This means that now the scum are immune to nukes, the only real way to kill them off faster than converting the town.

I'm sticking with my no vote if Doman wanted yes.

*mutter stupid double post*

@Diamondais, ok, good point so its really just Ryleth who is probabbly the usa.
Daganev2008-09-12 21:45:31
If anyone has a nuke, I suggest destroying the Capitalist cult leader while they are still small.
Daganev2008-09-12 21:49:42
Actually, Shiri when you wake up, I think we need you to tell us more about the security council.

You voted to lynch Requim even though he was on it with you....

I really think we should hold off now... *mutter*
Furien2008-09-12 21:51:23
If we knew who was Security Council, aside from those we voted in, I'd think Shiri and Shadow both would have put a stop to it. Didn't Shadow vote for it, too?
Furien2008-09-12 21:52:01
That is, if Shadow and Shiri were able to identify the other members, that'd be both A. Rather imbalancing I guess and B. something they'd use if they knew they were going to axe our investigator.

15 players.
2 cult leaders
1 converion night one.
1 conversion night two.
1 liberation.

That makes: 15 - 2 (cult leaders) -2 (conversions) +1 (liberation) = 12 town and 3 cult. Information for that taken from Rika's flavour text... thought it was obvious.

Granted, they do convert but we can also liberate again (apparently). Voting no would mean no disadvantages but also no advantages for us. Voting yes means possible advantages and a possible risk. confused.gif

And I had no clue Req was on the Council. I can only assume Shiri had no idea either.

Arix2008-09-12 22:31:49

Rika2008-09-12 22:38:11
Vote count:
Lynch:
Doman 7 Shadow Casilu Myrkr Furien Daganev Shaddus Arix

Issue:
Yes 7 Casilu Doman Shadow Myrkr Furien Arix Shaddus
No 1 Daganev
Diamondais2008-09-12 22:41:18
I'm going to abstain from voting on the Issue, it may benefit my country greatly but I'm still wary that it'll work in favour to whomever we're against in all of this.

It does however look as though it will be a Yes on the issue, but it wont be from my vote.
Arix2008-09-12 22:47:33
Pweeeease?
