Woooh! It's about to start!
(I am already playing the Headstart)

It runs surprisingly smooth on my laptop, I only get problems because of my low RAM. (Wich I want to update, but my stupid laptop doesn't like any, so I am on a quest to find some that fit.)

Playing a Rank/Renown 10/10 Warrior Priest right now. It's AWESOME! Except Empire being owned because we have no tanks and get steamrolled by 50% Chosen 50% Zealot armies. sad.gif

Wooh, Warhammer! freaked.gif

Why do you have to be european
Unknown2008-09-15 21:38:27
Ill be getting the game sometime next month when I have the extra money to buy a new computer.
Charune2008-09-15 22:04:25
I actually pre-ordered the game months ago, but I don't have the time. I also thought I'd be building a new desktop around this time, but instead I'm going to be buying a netbook (Asus 1000h most likely, if any of you own it, please let me know).

The game's been hyped up to a be a lot. Will there be a Lusternia guild forming?
Ashteru2008-09-15 23:15:06
Yeah, I was intending to get a new desktop by now too, but I had to postpone it 'till Christmas.

And actually, I really like it. I am on a PvP/Rp Server, order and chaos don't speak the same language, so no barriers for me. At rank 8 or so I camped out Chaos' rank 6 area and dropped some while they fought a boss. <.< >.> For Sigmar!

But really, the PvP...is just awesomely fun. I just spend 3 hours waging war in the first map, over 3 checkpoints. Stupid Chaos just doesn't give up, ugh!

I propose that all lusternians congregate in the:

Chaos Wastes RP/Open RvR (North American) server.

We can keep this thread alive, talk about the game, form guilds, etc. As long as we can all agree the same server.

Can someone try to sell me on getting this game?

Can I play just whenever for 1 hour at a time?
Ashteru2008-09-16 00:05:57
Sure. You get the main exp out of quests, anyway. And if you stay away for a while, you gain more exp than if you were constantly in. Plus, the lore is fun. And it's fun. And awesome.

Is there a free demo, or do I have to pay $60 to find out that I don't like it?
Murphy2008-09-16 01:38:59
Looks like a pretty fun game, i'll be in the headstart tommorow. Looks like i'll be going for chosen or sorceress haha. Those big dudes in the evil armour do it for me.

I always suspected that was the case.

Fun stuff, kicking the ass of destruction is always fun though, the game is highly guild based, you will need a guild to win, or get really really lucky.

It's a fun game, highly PvP based, while having enough PvE content to make it interesting. Even the highest level of PvP, the city siege ends up with PvE boss fight.

Ash is wrong about the main exp however, you can do just PvE, you can do just PvP, but doing a mix of both is the best way to level up, you can get pretty decent exp from solo kills without a party in PvP.

Edited out.
Daganev2008-09-16 03:23:55
So how do I get the game?

The website is a bit silent on that issue.

Well, it's not out yet. *g*

@tenqual: Dunno, it seems I get very little exp from actual PvPing, only in Scenarios you get a lot.
Unknown2008-09-16 07:26:37
Well there are PvP quests, but most of the time it is scenarios, though as I said, I can get around 500xp per solo kill, if you're in a group, in large scale fights, it might be only around 100 or so, but as long as one of your party members is in combat, you still get exp and renown per kill, keep sieges and the like will be a good way to net some exp.
Desitrus2008-09-18 06:57:29
R26/RR15, no scenario queues pop this high. Sadface.

White Lion named Sintor on Skull Throne.

How is it renown ranks to ranks at the higher levels, from 1-10 you can pretty much keep 1:1 with Renown and normal ranks, I've had a few guildies in the Preview Weekend Plus who were equal Rank and Renown Rank in the second tier.
