Semi-necro, but I have 2 free trials to give away if anyone is interested in playing.

Currently play order Swordmaster on Dark Crag and Destruction Marauder on Iron Rock.

Also have a bright wizard and a shadow warrior which I'm trying out on Volkmar.

btw, so far WAR is my favorite monthly mmo. Still can't get myself to pay monthly for something that will suck up my time, but if I could, this would be the one. Now all they need is a graphics update.

You'll probably want to download the client first, though. It's about 6 gigs, so it's sort of silly for me to give you the trial and then have to waste a day or so downloading the client.

There are free trials up on the site, but taking trials from friends always helps them out!

As for myself, the healer I've been working on suddenly stopped because everything pre-T4 completely died out in the past... week. Even T3 has seen no action... rather saddening.

Huh, I never noticed that they put those up - I thought the ones on the sight were only for people who could get a free 10 days by restarting their subscription.

But yeah, I would get a free month if you went through me.

What server are you on? Seems like there are only certain ones that keep a good population going...which is sad - I hope the game doesn't fail or anything, it's the most enjoyable MMO I've played.

Monolith. Until (quite literally) a week ago, the population was nice and poofy through all four tiers. Now it's gone completely downhill for anyone not in T4. Rather annoyed, because I dislike questing/bashing endlessly, and just want to get some RvR... even scenarios won't tick for any tier. D:

Yeah, Dark Crag scenarios tick every few minutes it seems like.

One thing, though, DC is an ORvR, which I don't mind except that people from 1 tier away can enter low tiers...so you get level 20 people in t1, and it essentially doubles the amount of leveling you have to do to get into the RvR.

Dark Crag is really pretty active. At the moment Destruction is rallying back against Order who had a successful King takedown a week or so ago (very, very hard to do though like all things will probably be more common as people get properly geared and learn the strategies) And as Deschain said, it's open RvR. Which is fun and all but when tier 4 is locked down for 17 hours (bad, bad design on Mythic's part) because a city is being sacked, the tier 4 players are going to get bored and hop down a tier. After which tier 3 will hop down to avoid the tier 4, and so on and so forth. You're usually safe if you hide out in PvE during lockdown times.

If anyone does start to play and goes on Dark Crag and is in Destro, let me know. I have a 40 DoK there and various mid level alts. If you roll order though, well, I'll probably see you on the field eventually!

It seems I have a 20/15 SH on DC (Gobfunkel), so I'll be hopping between that and my main (40 BW). Just saddening that I can't really play my 20/20 AM because every tier except 4 sucks. D:

I've been playing the endless trial they've been having and have been hooked. Just got the actual version of the game for the European servers and wondered if anyone was still around there?

I have a sub for american servers. Haven't played in awhile, though.
