So... I recently returned after a long time of not playing. You probably don't know me, my character was Shedrin, a Lucidian Geomancer. I didn't really make much of a splash, didn't participate too much, which is probably why I left, as I grew bored. Well, I'm back and want to try and participate more and this time hopefully I'll end up staying. That said, I wanna ask you knowledgeable people for some advice.
Basically, what advice do you have to get more active in the community? II'm probably really asking you to tell me what I already know, in that I should probably just overcome my shyness and go out there and interact with people, but maybe you have some more specific advice?
I've heard joining an order is a good source of RP, and Elostian seems like it would fit my character, who would I talk to about joining that?
What are some major changes I should probably be aware of since I left? IIRC, I left sometime after this event:
I'm currently really poor, what are some easy ways to make money for a level 60ish Geomancer?
More specific to Geomancers, I notice the paths system has been revamped, and it seems my title (Shield of Klaymech) isn't even in use anymore, I'm not even sure I want to be in the combat path anymore. It seems like there a bunch of new names I don't recognize in the leadership, who should I talk to about this? It'd be great if I could discuss it a bit OOC, before RPing it out, that way I can overcome my shyness and not have to deal with remembering/making new RP on the fly.
I guess the problem last time was that I dived into this deep pool without learning to swim first, so I sorta hid away by staying in the shallow side all by myself, but then I grew bored. This time around I want to ease into it more and join all the big kids in the deep end.
So uh ya... don't eat me.

Not having been heard by mortals for a decade, the Elder God Fain was eventually discovered trapped within the Undervault. With the help of the Elder God Morgfyre, he was finally freed and once again situates himself within the City of Magnagora.

So much water metaphor. You sould be an Aquamancer!

My first character ever was actually an Aquamancer, but then the lure of the taint drew me to Geomancers.

We can fix that.

Quit recruiting

Tell you what, if you'd be willing to offer incentives in the form of lots of credits, I'd be willing to switch over to Aquamancers.

Didn't you just spend 100cr of said savings on a dagger of reincarnation? >.>

Nope. I'm GOING to, because I need my instant gratification.
