That being said, the only concern I have for any Elementalism/Aquamancy report is to change DoorBlast or replace it with a skill that isn't so abysmally worthless. And if said report has already gone through, Y U NOT TELL ME MARIELLO?!
There is not to be an Aquamancy report, nor an Elementalism report.

Just talk to your Envoy.

True, you won't always get fair or balanced opinions from all your guildmembers - some simply won't have any concept of proper combat balance, or will push for changes that make their guild OP. But you should at least let them air any concerns they might have, and voice suggestions. How hard is it to listen to and then completely ignore the horribad ones? Heaven forbid that you might actually get a workable concept from someone else.
It's actually very easy when you don't tell them that most of their ideas won't ever see the light of day. Most people's ideas are upgrades. If you tell them there won't be upgrades to druidry, how likely are they to talk to you about random ideas? They'll instead try to convince you why druidry needs upgrades. Better to just get the ideas.
It doesn't mean don't talk to the guild. It means involve them insofar as they need to be involved. Get their ideas, hear their complaints, warn them before floating a suggestion for a downgrade. True transparency, though, is just asking for trouble.

This applies only when the envoy is actually less biased and more competent than the rest of his guild/commune/playerbase. Sadly this is far from always the case.
