If you scroll down a bit, you'll see links on the left. Click the play button for each. Can you hear them?

I was able to hear each and every one of them.

Very annoying sounds they are. blackeye.gif

I can hear them all. They -really- hurt your ears after awhile. A lot of kids at my school enjoy using because they can't be heard by the teachers, or they enjoy just making everyone else spazz out and complain. So..sososososo annoying. ><

My Fiance who's 21 can't hear past 16 kHz. happy.gif

You need your hearing checked!

I can hear them all on my right ear, my left ear usually has too much fluid in it to hear normal sounds, let alone something like this.

But man, is it ever ucky.

I surprised myself by being able to hear three of the below 24 levels! cheer.gif I play my earbuds WAY loud, and have for years and years. laugh.gif The highest frequency I can hear is 17.4 kHz.

My guinea pig FREAKED out though when I started playing them! laugh.gif

Like 5 bugs came out of hiding toward me when I played the higher frequencies. Stalker bugs and their good hearing. wtf.gif

I'm sorry. Couldn't hear because you're a ninja and ninjas are stealthy and can turn invisible and fly.

Actually, come to think about these sounds and the fact I do have problems with clogged ears. I'm really surprised I can hear them. shocked.gif

I should be more careful. Myrkr might flip out and kill me.

I can hear 18 kHz well enough, and all the other higher ones I can either barely hear if I really focus or sort of... feel the discomfort on my ears. Its strange.
Xavius2008-09-17 05:12:52
I'm 24 years old. I can hear 17 khz, but would probably have to use 16 khz if I was going to use it as a ringtone. I can feel 17.4 and 18 more than I hear them. Above there, all I really hear is white noise from my speakers.
Unknown2008-09-17 05:55:11
I can hear them all just fine. It's not nearly high pitched enough.

Who else is driven nuts by the high pitch whine of TV's? Like, if you turn it on, and mute it, can you hear it?

I am, and can. Stupid ears. losewings.gif

But then, I can put my music all the way up and wear my uber-headphones (they're supposed to make you not hear a thing besides the music playing) and still hear people talking to each other.
