You must regain balance first.

SUFFER

Kidding, give some ideas then! The strike idea seems sound enough. Maybe make it hinder in some other way? I dunno youre the BC you come up with changes!

Also... come to Magnagora we have ecto.. and cookies! and even some pie

you don't need ecto to perma wind someone.

Yes you do.

Edit: Sorry, you do unless you're winding using >280 speed hammers.
Ardmore2008-09-24 20:33:14
Who cares you shouldn't be able to perma-wind anyone anyways!
Unknown2008-09-24 23:24:14
It probably should get the same treatment knockdown did. Can't wind someone already winded, and also change it so it can't be done with a strike.
Rika2008-09-25 04:37:01
It would -seriously- nerf it if you can't wind someone already winded (as a single wind by itself isn't actually that long). A balance loss cap is much more viable.

A cap doesn't really make sense. And it probably does need that serious nerf. It should slow you down when it procs, but it shouldn't be your entire strategy.

90% of balancelocks happen in group combat. Wind doesn't need a hardcore nerf so that it's useless in 1 on 1 fights, especially for necromancer bonecrushers who need to stack balanceloss in order to sacrifice.

What are Moon warriors supposed to rely on again? You fail if you say aeon.

EDIT: I decided Night AL and PB can rely on choke. BC and BM are in the same situation as Moon.

I still don't see why ur'guard particularly need such an unstoppable setup for their insta, where either they mess up and you regain balance for a split second, or you die beyond your ability to do anything.

So... can Shofangi and Tahtetso get a 20s+ stun skill so we can pull of DEATHTOUCH, whether in group or single then? It's ony reasonable!!

I'm not sure 20s stun would be enough to pull Harmony's inst-kill blackeye.gif

Sure it would be. Assuming you were already using the mantras you'd need to hit ego(not great for combat) and they weren't regenerating health, mana or ego. tongue.gif
Unknown2008-09-25 14:02:57
No he's right. Regeneration still ticks in stun right? So 20s would never be enough. 2 minute stun would be more like it. freaked.gif
Ardmore2008-09-25 16:45:18
So BC > AL amirite?

Only if nekotai can get Inqusition combo.
Unknown2008-09-25 17:39:57
Oh, and stag pureblades need something near unstoppable to set up for a gore. It's only fair.
Desitrus2008-09-25 19:18:22
The reason balance loss doesn't need a cap iiiis? Did I really hear something like Necromancer BC's need a viable way to sacrifice? Cause "wow" if so. Let's have us a real question:

What is the MINIMUM amount of time a player needs to be off-balance for a skilled necromancer NIHILIST to sacrifice them?

Tick tock, gogogo.

4 seconds!

Am I close?

You need an AFK victim to die to Harmony's insta. That's about the only way. mellow.gif

Or team with a Psion/Telepath using EgoWhip or MindBurst+PsychicVampirism, respectively, and someone who can drain mana via Succumb/Lash/Amissio/etc., but in a 3v1 why would you bother with it in the first place? Gogo damage kill.

EDIT: On the bright side, Harmony users have a prismatic barrier and instant tumble, both for only 1p each.
