Hm.

CAN bellossom do that? If so I'd be inclined to unvote Shaddus as that's believable.

Bellossom can do that. It's called Sunny Day. It boosts fire attacks, but it also makes the attack Solar Beam a one-turn attack instead of a two turn attack (charging sunlight, attacking). Makes water and ice moves weaker. Also strengthens Synthesis and Morning Sun.

This is without me looking at Bulbapedia. wub.gif

Poor Shaddus... comfort.gif You're all flowery.

Bel-la-aaas-som!
Unknown2008-09-24 02:33:56
By the way, Shaddus, eat your heart out!
Shiri2008-09-24 02:34:30
Unvote: Shaddus.

I don't really want to vote Casilu right now because I don't like Xavius' assumption.

Vote: Zetsu's non-posting arse

I don't think we can assume that just because it's a terrible idea for a player to leave splash in his bar in the pokemon games, a pokemon couldn't conceivably have that move in mafia.

If we could, though, that'd be reason to lynch her seeing as she's definitely claimed to be wailord.

I could only think of two reasons, at best three to do this:

1. Screw over someone who's a Ditto
2. A safeguard against Psychic Pokemon who have disable
3. Ruining someone's Smeargle who happens to use Sketch at the wrong time.

Hrm!

Unvote Shaddus

you'll never ever find a waillord with splash in the wild. They just don't have it

Ok, guys, I'm about to display epic nerddom.

Wailord is the evolved form of Wailmer. The evolution is at level 40. Wailmer learned eleven moves before evolution. A Wailord has no reason to have splash. Thus, completely regardless of what Bulbapedia tells you, there is no Wailord with splash. The only two pokemon that force you to endure splash for any length of time are Magikarp and Wynaut, and seeing as how the mod actually decided on a Pokemon theme of her own free will, unless she really hates Casilu and wants to see Casilu get lollynched by the shiny trinket, she wouldn't have given a Wailord splash.

I agree with this, its kind of weird that she has splash. Is it safe to assume though that a Wailord is in the game because one was mentioned in the starting fluff? If it is, and no one bothers counter-claiming Casilu, I think we have to take her at face value.

Touch'e! You will not.

The game is programmed to not give Pokemon absolutely crappy skills. (Even in the show, Pikachu's ThunderWave actually DOES SOMETHING besides Paralysis ).

happy.gif My vote's staying on Zetsu because someone has to annoy him and force him to play.

Good idea, especially as the wailord is very likely a good guy.

Any other wailords around here?

If not, let's pile on Zetsu.
Shiri2008-09-24 03:08:45
Unless Silferras wants to wait a while and then replace him with Aesyra, that would work too. In which case I may go for Xavius because I don't like his assumption about the wailord with splash.

Diamondais2008-09-24 03:17:55
laugh.gif Zetsu seems kinda useless to have in the game, which sucks. Maybe we can see if we can get him replaced with Aesyra before we lynch him?
Unknown2008-09-24 03:21:09
... I wonder if it'd work?

Replace: Zetsu?

Maybe if we get a majority or something, Silferras would break and do it. blink.gif

The man works for a living give him a break. He probably doesn't even know the thread has started.

This is true. And while the length of one's day could be argued, definitely not the place for it.
Rika2008-09-24 04:13:24
Interesting first day we're having. Unvote

Yes, Bellossum can do sunny day, so that is believable.

I'm going to vote: Myrkr for her continued attempts to direct people's attentions away from the RBY series pokemon. I do not think we have had any proof of them being excluded from this game.
Noola2008-09-24 04:14:15
Alright, unvote.

vote: Zetsu

Cause he's not playin and all that.

Are you from the RBY series?

I know I'm not.

Wailord isn't from the RBY series.

Nor is Bellosom.

No, I'm not. But there are seventeen characters in this game. It is a very daring assumption to make this early on to say that just becuase the few people who have roleclaimed aren't from RBY (and in fact, this accusation of yours came before any roleclaims on page 2 or 3), there aren't any RBY pokemon. Seems to me like you're trying to hide something.
Doman2008-09-24 04:22:33
I'm not one of the original 151 either...
