Daganev stares up at the sky with glassy eyes forever fixed in an expression of snarling glee, the blood-crusted slashes across his throat and instantly-crushed windpipe testimony to the violence of his death.
Nearby, Myrkr stares up at the sky with a similar expression of rigid, unholy triumph, the poison-laced slash across her throat and sliced windpipe the obvious cause of her untimely demise.
In the vicinity Shaddus was last seen, the only sign of life is an incongruously bright Pokéball rocking slightly in the morning breeze.
You stare at each other, horrified by the implications.
