Okay, let me break this down for my own peace of mind.

Alive:
Rika (?)
Ryleth (?)
Casilu (claimed Wailord)
Shiri (?)
Diamondais (?)
Furien (?)
Arix (confirmed town by Esano)
Balizar (?)
Simon (?)

Dead:
Xavius (Deoxys) - lynched day 1, SK
Daganev (Seviper) - killed night 1 (presumedly by Myrkr)
Myrkr (Zangoose) - killed night 1 (presumedly by Daganev)
Shaddus (Bellossom) - captured night 1
Doman (Drifloon) - lynched day 2, scum
Esano (Altaria) - vengeanced day 2
Zetsu (Noctowl) - killed night 2, cop

1. Shaddus was captured, but Zetsu was actually killed. Those of you with more experience, why might that be?

2. We assumed that Myrkr really did have the luck to target Daganev the first night. Indeed, both she and Daganev had expressions implying some sort of triumph. But Bali, even then, questioned whether Myrkr actually killed Daganev, who had a slashed throat -and- crushed windpipe. I don't know if the distinction is important, except that we do have one townie captured and one killed. Could there be two things scum can do at night, even with the SK gone? Is anyone familiar enough with this "crush claw" move to know if it does those two things?

3. I'm inclined to buy Diamondais's excuse of being busy for not posting last night, but it's highly strange that she's offered no more content today than ... excuses. I was hoping something more substantial would come along from any of quiet folk, but granted Bali's argument, I think I'm going to go ahead and Vote: Diamondais for now.
Shiri2008-09-27 08:55:33
1. I failed to notice that. Good catch. It could be that there's a human leader and his two pokemon subordinates.
2. I don't know about this. I find it unlikely that we'd have an SK, two scum kills AND the scum are superpowered (or at least one is). Out of the two scenarios I think I find Myrkr making a lucky guess and the attack message being 'cause Zangoose has bludgeoning and cutting attacks more likely.
3. I'm still gonna wait on Ryleth. I won't vote him yet in case that would lynch him though, not sure how many he's up to.
Rika2008-09-27 08:59:49
It could be possible that amongst the mafia, some can kill while others can capture. Drifloon could capture, so Shaddus could have been killed by Doman on night one.

Pretty sure Myrkr and Daganev just both got real lucky/unlucky and got each other
Ryleth2008-09-27 09:09:09
Hello, apologies for slight inactivity - last day went so fast you had lynched before I got access to the computer, day befre wrapped up in this marshall stuff. I've skimmed the thread briefly but want to go over a bit more thoroughly - so give me a moment there. One thing did catch my eye is that casilu is still splashing though asked to stop (and the flavour each time is changing slightly). If it does nothing and is just for fun, stop.
Arix2008-09-27 10:25:00
We lost the cop?
Rika2008-09-27 10:35:51
Seems like it.
Arix2008-09-27 10:57:05
So we've no cop, and we've only managed to get one scum and one SK, and I lost my person I could talk to
Rika2008-09-27 10:58:06
As well as a few other townies, yes. Now got anything more constructive to say? tongue.gif
Arix2008-09-27 11:00:52
Yes. Ryleth, I see you reading. You are at 4/6, do you have anything to tell us?
Ryleth2008-09-27 11:18:53
Very well, I am Skiploom, a limited role-blocker at night via the wonderful sleep powder, which I can use twice in the game (and haven't actually used yet).

I've got this theory that Shaddus's Sunny day power might have upgraded me somewhat, maybe unlimited sleep powders during those 5 day/night cycles? Might have been nice
Ryleth2008-09-27 11:29:30
I'm also slightly worried at Furien consistantly targetting me throughout the game so far, joining bandwagons and the like. If it simply was an activity poke, fair enough, I certainly haven't been playing enough, but the constant repetition and bullishness locking on that again and again..hrm
Arix2008-09-27 11:44:28
Furien's first vote was to get you talking, and the second appeared to be for the same reason, though she did it in a bandwagony manner. Anyway, I'm going to bed
Rika2008-09-27 11:57:11
Unvote: Ryleth. Vote: Diamondais. See what she has to say about Balizar's points.
Rika2008-09-27 11:57:57
Also, sleep powder does not get enhanced by sunny day. Only things that are enhanced are fire type moves (made stronger) and solar beam (no charge-up)
Ryleth2008-09-27 12:39:33
Does it? Because shaddus role stated:

More of that lovely, lovely sunlight for everyone, especially your fellow plants

Thought it might be a boost for all plant-like pokemon, still if that was it does in actual pokemon it might translate perfectly here

edited out because I didnt know I was dead tongue.gif Have fun guys.

Hey kids, its that time again!

Hrm, I seem to have missed her. Anyway today we'll be discussing Diamondais. And why she should be pinging on your scumdar.
And she goes on to say:
First she says she knows the series by heart, and she's followed it for years and years, but then claims she doesn't know how to spell Magikarp? To me this a blatant contradiction in terms, and sounds like an attempt to sound playful and innocent. Why would she need to do that if she were town? (Strike1)

I never said I knew the series from heart, I've said I've followed it. I do have trouble with spelling, most people could tell you there are times where I sit down and say something then repeat myself several times just because I'm sure of the spelling. I'm sorry, I'm not a spelling pro. Still, I never ever said I knew it by heart. You're assuming this.
QUOTE

After Noola accused me of being "persnickety" and I followed up with a why I was being "persnickety", she chimes in:
Ok, innocent enough, but was it really necessary for her to try to paint me in a suspicious light when I'm just trying to be thorough and helpful, while Noola, herself, and some others have been doing nothing but goofing off and making pointless little remarks? I dont think it was. I think it was an attempt to cast suspicion on Bali for being Bali, because thats just easy. (Strike2)
I wasn't trying to point anywhere at that time, I was goofing off. I had nothing to go on, no information. First day or so, I never do. Usually I spend an entire game in the dark over what's going on. Noola's comment was funny, I commented. It seems speaking is a damned if you do, damned if you don't type of deal.

QUOTE
New point, in response to my attack post on Simon, asking for his/her real identity:
Funny thing is, I never questioned random voting at all. I dont know where she pulled that one from. Again, seems like another attempt to spin suspicion harmlessly from a distance. These things add up you know. (Strike3)

I didn't look too closely at Shaddus's vote, I thought it was random. You also started going off on your aggressive campaign against everyone that grated against you. Look at things so far, you went after Shaddus and he turned out to be town.
QUOTE
Role fishing. Yeah, thats generally not a good idea d1. (Strike4)
Thats odd, considering she would be the only one so far if that were true. Every pokemon thus far has not been of the original 151. Coincidence or a scummer trying to plan ahead for an easy claim? (Strike5)
No, I was not rolefishing. I mentioned it would be neat to know, but I didn't ask to know. As for the pokemon, well, I really am of the 151. There's god knows how many now? Over 300? I doubt that every single one of you is from the very newest games, actually, not all of you are. As we've had the owl thing and Bellosom.

QUOTE
Anyways, her recent escapades are what have brought the scumhunt down on her. When I shotgun-accused the four people who had not voted for Doman of being scum, she was quick to retort with an excuse of being asleep and away from the computer. She also refuses to acknowledge the point that you dont automatically equal scum if you did not vote Doman. You would think a townie would point that out (instead she claimed she was just away). She also refuses to accept the point that while you can say you were afk, that doesn't mean you weren't on the forums, identity hidden. Her point there is completely moot and she just ignored all my thoughts on the subject. On top of all this, she blatantly bandwagoned on Ryleth after Furien voted him with the reason for "getting information". At least Furien said it was because his post count was very low, Dia didnt even bother with that, she just wagoned because it was easy and came up with a weak reason. Extremely oppurtunistic.

That is why I am going to

Vote: Diamondais

Well, I do post when I'm going to bed. I can't change when my body needs sleep or when my classes are. Some people actually do have to be away from the computer at some points. I try and stay around when I can when conversation is going, but, if I have class at 8:30 then I do need to go early.

You've been aggressive the entire game, why? You're picking near random names, searching for every little trivial point that could possibly sway people to your cause and then using it as hard proof? You've attempted to pick off at least one town so far, how many more are you going to go after in your crusade?

Of the ten alive, Diamondais, Ryleth and Noola did not vote for Doman. I'm going to vote: Ryleth

That's because the entire last day happened while I was asleep! laugh.gif

Remember, things you can't influence, like sleep for example, have no bearing on why you didn't vote. tongue.gif

Here's everyone who voted with Doman on the Shaddus bandwagon:

Noola, Daganev, BaLi, Furien, Doman, Shiri

ohmy.gif

I was the first person who voted for Shaddus. There was no bandwagon to vote with at the time (because I was the first) and because it was a completely random vote.
