The day dawns surprisingly quickly on the heels of night, nearly everyone's slumber made all the sweeter by the success of the previous day. Yawning and stretching, the remnants of the band converge slowly as the sun sheds light across more and more of the island. By mid-morning, when a quick head count turns up one of their number missing, an inevitable apprehension dogs the search that follows.
In the vicinity Bali was last seen, only an incongruously bright Pokéball rocks slightly in the morning breeze.
The implications of the find casts a shadow of foreboding over the group, and even the brightening sunlight seems to pall.

Youch. Dodged a bullet there, I don't think we'd have seen a cult coming at all. 
On the plus side, Diamondais was a scum after all (whew).

The cult scenario seems really confusing to me. What are we supposed to do if we find the last scum and it turns out the game isn't over? Lash out at random people until we lucksack the ones that got converted?
