Yes, I saw that. Thats what she claims - but you have to ask yourself, WHY? What purpose would a splashing Wailord serve?
Well, it could just be the case that having delivered everyone here, she can't do anything, but instead of having a vanilla role, she gets splash. That's just a possibility though, I'm not sure I like it myself.

Remember Ryleth's game where someone could polish their medals and it did nothing?
Doman2008-09-24 01:21:03
wait wait wait...what if that splash was like...something delayed. If she IS waillord, then the splash now, could cause the tsunami tomorrow

Yeah. That was an almost vanilla ("French vanilla"). And I just had regular vanilla in the same game. So it's not out of the question.

Ok no more pussyfooting around it. Not being forthcoming is 1. suspicious 2. not helpful to the town
Are you Wailord?
Why are you splashing?
What does it do?
Are you hiding anything?

Yes.
I can.
Nothing.
Not anymore.

Hrm. I don't like this one bit.
I get this idea there are things that can come into play, like weather and so on. I think maybe Casilu's thing can possibly change something. Butterfly effect, and all that.
UNVOTE, VOTE:CASILU

You haven't played the newer Pokemon games? In the newer ones, there's rain, hail, sunny, sandstorms... all affect things.

Disbelieve it. I hate when Casilu is all unhelpful like that (at least we have her claimed info now) but you're being totally paranoid about ...the weather, and so on. Sounds like excusecraft. Added to your "Alianna already had 2 votes so that's why I voted her with no explanation" from earlier...
Unvote: whoeverIwasvoting Vote: Shaddus.
Should be 6 votes. 17 players...I guess we need 9 then.

No? I played Red for about 5 minutes once, on an emulator.
I play Might and Magic, Fallout, stuff like that.
Though, Mr. Mime is awesome, as is Psyduck.

Which means only Zetsu and Casilu aren't voting, and Casilu has been posting plenty.

Yes, but *why* isn't Casilu voting?
Shiri2008-09-24 02:09:20
I don't know, I'm more bothered by Zetsu not even playing (which is fast becoming a habit of his). I'd rather keep my vote on Shaddus unless he roleclaims or everyone abandons him for Zetsu though.

I rarely vote. That's why. Unless I'm convinced of the person's guilt, I normally refuse to vote.
Shaddus2008-09-24 02:13:47
Tell you what. Since a handful of people are voting for me, I'm going to roleclaim, and hit the sack.
I'm... Bellossom or something. I can apparently dance, and make it sunny , skipping the next night. And then, it's sunny weather for a few days.
Silferras, I am SO going to beat you.

Hm.
CAN bellossom do that? If so I'd be inclined to unvote Shaddus as that's believable.

Ok, guys, I'm about to display epic nerddom.
Wailord is the evolved form of Wailmer. The evolution is at level 40. Wailmer learned eleven moves before evolution. A Wailord has no reason to have splash. Thus, completely regardless of what Bulbapedia tells you, there is no Wailord with splash. The only two pokemon that force you to endure splash for any length of time are Magikarp and Wynaut, and seeing as how the mod actually decided on a Pokemon theme of her own free will, unless she really hates Casilu and wants to see Casilu get lollynched by the shiny trinket, she wouldn't have given a Wailord splash.

This also makes the assumption that Pokemon are smart, does it not?

I don't think we can assume that just because it's a terrible idea for a player to leave splash in his bar in the pokemon games, a pokemon couldn't conceivably have that move in mafia.
If we could, though, that'd be reason to lynch her seeing as she's definitely claimed to be wailord.
