Clearly it isn't. It must be to do with novices or something.

Novices do count double. Buuuut...

Then there's something else involved, because there's no way Glom has like 33% more people than Mag.

That said, it's not clear that topguilds uses the same thing to work out a score as cultural activity. I understand that GR and time spent online also affect score on topguilds, so an org with a high novice score could easily have lots of novices that don't stay online long or a couple of insanely dedicated ones that get advanced fast.

Ok, so my joke about Teak was in bad taste. But noone know how to remove funds? The ninjakari guildhall offices need doors sad.gif

It's amount of time spent on, as well as some weight based on rank (I believe). So if Serenwilde has the same number of people as Mag, but they each are on 25% longer, the score will be 25% higher. Or something like that.

They both take into account people and time online. We know that they don't measure exactly the same thing (based on transparency in other games' topguilds, the big difference is probably that topguilds is affected by bashing). Even though there is no one-to-one alignment between the two, when one goes up, the other goes up. When one goes down, the other goes down. The admin have stated that they believe them to be respectable estimates of org activity.

@Shiri: the entire time that I've spent online the last couple days, Gloms have outnumbered Serens pretty substantially. I know that Glom peak is not Seren peak, and Glomdoring doesn't have a huge influx of new blood, but Glomdoring has lost fewer players while I was inactive. I mean, did you see that topguilds? Lusternia's playerbase took a hatchet to the face. So, yeah, it's entirely believable, and it has nothing to do with Glomdoring growing.

If you get afflicted via fae and then the Wiccan Healer bedevils you, followed shortly by a bard HerbBaning you, are you essentially doomed to death if you have nowhere to escape?

Looking at these formulas, faeling is looking soo much better. TK forcefield for bashing, AND high charisma for influencing.

Roughly how much do things scale?

I like faeling, but is sucks for fighting anyone that does high damage/people who will do cheep stuff like debate in a fight. You have to either suck up the burnout or go into a fight with faeling health.

What's the difference between broken chest and crushed chest?
Unknown2008-10-16 11:13:04
Broken chest is cured by arnica and just increases endurance loss when you use it (I think), while crushed chest is cured by regen and causes massive endurance drain by itself.
Arix2008-10-16 11:28:46
Why is Arin so very perverted?

Massive is the right word. I've gone from full to zero endurance in a matter of seconds before.
Arin2008-10-16 12:16:43
Wha?!?!?

Where did that come from?!
