That's too bad, I like it! It's a fantasy game after all, not sure why anyone is hung up on this aspect of realism.

edit: even re-reading this I realize that I've just spent a few minutes trying to apply 'real' logic to my own claim about the eggs, but still, I think it's more fun that there's some 'magic' to it, instead of real world biology... or the stork. Too late to go with the stork?

I can't help but wonder why she asked this anyway. Hell, she asked ME if I had a cloaca. Uh, no.

I like it too, but it was her second answer. Alas.

Does having Harmony increase the essence gain of Demis and Ascendants?

Are combat styles in Knighthood worth using? If I do ever use one, it's Concentrated to assist in stacking wounds. Last I heard, the boost they give you is so minute it isn't even worth it.

As an axelord, I really like lightning for the minor speed boost. Makes the whole knockdown+other attack while they are still down/stunned thing a bit easier to get into the flow of doing.

"Humanoid" describes all the races - trill, dracnari, kephera, etc. Trills are not just humans with wings. It's mentioned that they have the hollow bones of birds - safe to infer there is other physiology shared with birds. I do not think a brittle hollow pelvic bone would support a live birth. Also, the wings could catch or something and it would be awful. Let us settle on eggs in the same way that faelings are born from flowers.

I've always seen the Trill as like the Siyee in in the 'Age of the Five' trilogy, if anyone else has read it.

balance, is it in a separate balance coupled with just sipping health (making sip health tied to two balances), or does it have it's own individual balance like sparkleberries do?

I ask because apply health without any wounds gives the no effect message, but never a "you may apply more health now" message.
Kante2009-04-19 21:17:45
Wound curing is in fact tied to the elixir balance. So you can either sip health to keep up your health, or use it to cure wounds. You can't do both at the same time.

My signature IS a merian and a human before all the cross-breading. Brave folks, those early settlers.

Then what I should understand is that both uses for health are coupled in the same balance- but does that balance include mana and bromides, or any other sort of elixir?

Unless your a merian or mugwump.

Mugwumps don't waterbreathe. That's the defining trait of Merian-ness

Correct, that particular balance applies to any use of the health, mana, or bromides elixers.
