Do proofings stack?
For example, if I were to proof a coat against cold and then splendors also against cold, would it make a difference?

Nightmares are easier. You can get a nightmare out of Vhaas' signature, but that unholy coupling will never produce a pegasus.

Win.
As for Volroc, I don't believe so. Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure they don't stack.

I read somewhere that proofings don't stack, though I can't find it at the moment. The AB for batting does mention that you can proof batted vests but that that proofing doesn't stack.

If we have Vanilla Oil, can we use Vanilla in designs now?
Is it to early to guildhop?

Maybe it just smells like vanilla...?
Lendren2009-04-20 02:32:02
You've been allowed to use vanilla for a while now. This just came up in the Trademasters news. You can use spices commodities for it. Still no chocolate though.

On average, how tall are dwarves?

I average each point of size to be half a foot. So, size 8 would be an average of 4 feet tall.

I was thinking it would be four feet, but I always like to have confirmation.
Thanks.

Two questions.
How much is the bonus on "native weapon" for races?
And the second question is, would dwarves make good axelord demis, as opposed to humans?

I think it's +5 to all stats for one-handers.
And I remember Desitrus saying how much dwarf sucked thanks to the low dex.

+5/+10/+5 for one handers. +10/+22/+5 for twohanders. Yes so you can get Gebaxe!

Someone mentioned the idea of dwarf monks in this thread, and I just wanted to point out that the combination would be viable.
Monk damage is largely a factor of existing wounds. The "bonus" for high dexterity/strength at low wounds is minimal. As such, almost any race would work well for monks because the entire class is centered around mass afflicting, locking, or special instant kills - none of which decrease in viability with lowered strength or dexterity.
You will, however, see a decrease in bashing because strength/dexterity are both very important.

Can you not use the namegen thingie in the beginning to find a name? Do you actually have to make a name, go through the intro, then use the namegen and change your name to something you find there? Isn't that a little... backward? Or am I missing something?

Supposed to be OOC, though I've heard divine speak about it before.
