Just because mortals have only tapped into four elemental planes doesn't mean that's all there is. In fact...

QUOTE ("HELP ELEMENTAL PLANES")
The four major known elemental planes are earth, fire, water and air.

Two qualifiers: major and known. Who knows what else is floating around out thar?

There are only four elements. Earth, Air, Water and Fire. Wood, Spirit, Etc. Aren't elements. They're just compounds and mixtures.

Metal is elemental Earth. However, Geomancers cannot meld/manipulate metallic things because A] You cannot get blood/spit/taint-juice into metallic objects and therefore cannot meld with them, B] none of the Earth Lords are metallic for the same reason as A and C] that would be OP so Estarra doesn't let us. sad.gif

I take all of my ideas about the elements from Avatar. Damn good for a kids show.

Can Kephera wear clothes made by a tailor and such? And robes, too?

Yes.
Zhiren2009-05-31 19:12:34
Alright, cool. Thanks.

Do Demon Lords just respawn after they died, or is something else needed? I think there is, but I have no idea what. :

You have to put dark essence in their "soul-hidey-place".

Where is this "soul-hidey-place"? Where they normally are?

I'm not sure if I should ask this here, but as someone who thinks the whole "Spot, a happy puppy" short desc for pets is stupid, can I simply have a pet with a short desc as "a happy puppy" and whenever you probe it, it will say the typical, "Its name is Spot"? Or would it have to be "Spot, a happy puppy"?

(I ask because I tried to have the short desc for Krellan's unicorn as "an armour-clad unicorn", but when he bought it, it had "(name), an armour-clad unicorn" instead of just the former, and that made me worried for my own pet-to-be.)
Unknown2009-06-02 01:04:51
As far as I'm aware, you can make the description without the name and just have it show in the extended description, as it does with normal beasts. I can't think of any custom beasts without the name, but I'm sure there's at least one out there.

Do Serens have any policy on vegetarianism?

My phoenix is called Rjana, and I refer to it like that in my aliases, but s/he appears as an azure phoenix and suchlike in roomdescs, no mention of her name.

@Razenth: no one gives a damn

Where is Muud? I can't find mention of him/the area in any help files.

Policy? No. There are Seren vegetarians, though. I know Brylle always makes sure at all her fetes that there's at least one meatless dish. But there are also people who like the barely-cooked venison. One of our gods is a Lord of the Hunt, and predation is a key part of nature, so meat is certainly allowed.

In the city sewers. Good luck with that.

Is racial bonuses on monk weapons supposed to be +10/+10/+10 or +10/+20/+10?

For twohanders, forgot that.
Shiri2009-06-02 16:14:44
Well kephera was +5/+5/+5 to my shofa last time I checked, so it ought to be +10/+10/+10 for 2handers.
Casilu2009-06-02 16:15:59
Probably would actually be +10/+11/+10, maybe?
