When designing, it's often useful to know -why- the design in question has been rejected. I know that the Charites are pretty generous in terms of ideas, given that my cartel has armour with powerstones, an axe composed of kata weapons, and some pretty crazy shields.

Whatever happened to the giant spoon axe?

I already fixed it for her nyah.gif

Can I make statues of objects (doors, paintings, trade things like the alembic)?, tired the alembic and the gates of southgard and was told I wasn't in a outdoor urban or road environment.

if I can do this in someway, how?

That happens when someone raises Globglob in the Tainted Broadcasting Centre, one of the singlemost annoying quests in the entire game. They'll only follow people from that organization that raised him, and you'll hear propaganda spewing from your nexus.

Really? And here I was thinking it was just a grief Celest quest.

Sketch them (AB ARTS SKETCHING) and then sculpt elsewhere from the sketches.

No. Technically, a Celestian could complete the quest and use it for their own benefit.

with the alembic, it said I couldn't find the correct angle to do it from.. Hmm

Does the magic skillset work just like the resilience one, only for magical attacks, or does it increase offense as well?
Unknown2009-06-05 22:15:54
Pretty sure it just reduces magical damage.

That means you can't sketch it.

You can't sketch items.

Probing items shows the cartel of the design's origination if it was from a private cartel.

It has 1 months of usefulness left.
It weighs 12 ounce(s).
It bears the distinctive mark of Arin Dekoven, the Special One.
It has been stamped with the seal of Whimsical Voluptuary.

Uhmm... yeah... I feel it slightly out of place on a plate of food.
Xiel2009-06-06 01:25:01
I think it's nice, but probably cause I'm just imagining the stamp actually being on the plate and not on the food itself.

You can paint anything as long as you have a manse. Set a room title and description to whatever you'd like the item/person and description to be, paint the landscape, and change the room back. Voila, custom paintings. Been doing it for ages, but I don't see it used often.

I know that with paintings, My goal was to make a statue. in this case of the alchemy's alembic.
Richter2009-06-06 01:50:57
Oops, I misread it.

We had a few painting contests that used that trick and we arranged to have a manse room made available for it. My guildhall has a nice gallery full of paintings made that way, some are very imaginative.

I wonder if the admins intended for that use...

No, but they've known about it for a very long time (see: The old Hajamin paintings) and have left it in place, so...
