You get the ego boost from the +cha.

However, with a throne, you don't have to rely on having chaos minor (or positive lion sphere) all the time.

Allheale has always been the only cure for being enfeebled, unfortunately.

I seem to remember it being completely incurable and having to ask that allheale work on it.

Either way, allheale is the only generally available method for curing enfeeble. Of course, there are other "cure a random affliction" abilities that will have the same chance to cure it. It's just that random nature that makes this affliction a pain.

If I forget a branched skillset (say Combateer) using the syntax FORGET COMBATEER, will I only lose combateer, or will I lose all of aethercraft as well?

Only Combateer.

Having extra buffpoints that don't actually merit a stat increase 'blocks' it as well.

Bat furrikin with non-functional wings should work just fine. I think the general idea is that "If it's a mammal, there's a Furrikin form of it. If it isn't, then there's a 50% chance that it's a Furrikin".
