So...faelings don't seem to regenerate health and mana in wyrden forest. Do specc'd faelings do so?

Yes.

In a similar vein: if you were to get the nature seal karma blessing, would you gain regeneration only in "forest", or also "wyrden forest"?

Well, you just need edit your keybinding this way:

Note that the keybinding F1 is now a part of the group lalala, what you need now is an alias that turns this group on or off. Make a new alias that goes:

That was the alias for turning the group off, now we need one to turn it on, so:

I hope that helps! biggrin.gif

WOOT! Thanks

I think it's anywhere that's a natural environment.

Why would the overall description itself be a typo, Fain? It's pretty obviously intended to be on that side of the mountain range (as per the description).

Though I don't remember the "died" typo in it. Hmm. Ah well.

I was under the impression that there was more than one line of mountains. I actually quite like the titbit that the description gives you of the otherside, and I wouldn't change it unilaterally. The typo report serves as a reminder to check it with Estarra.

Does anyone know if there's a way to see who's removing power from ship collectors?

No, but you can set the module perms to make sure only the people you allow can do so.

Do Great Houses get honour when members publish books/plays or get prestige wins in the library or world stage? I know there was some discussion on the forums about this and I tought they added those but the help file doesn't say.

I remember hearing about this, but can someone refresh my memory on how exactly the IRE games are related?

Parallel universes. Aetolia, Achaea and Imperian all share the same "base map", but Aetolia is slightly different from Achaea (same layout, same names, slightly different cities) and Imperian is vastly different (only the basic "layout" remains the same, cities and locations are hugely changed). As for Lusternia, it could maybe even reside in the same universe as Achaea, except a different planet (plane), because it is simply so vastly different from the other three IE games. This explains the following:

1. why some people will have the same personality across the different worlds (i.e "alts")
2. why names and locations are similar (e.g, Aetolia and Achaea both have an Ashtan city, but are different physically, but Imperian's big forest is named Celidon instead of Ithmia but has the same basic layout)
3. why classes/guilds are similar with minor exceptions

Trust me, when it comes to parallel universes and alternate continuums, I know this stuff. I've read enough superhero comic books to make sense out of everything.

Well, Achaea is the original world. Aetolia, a reflection of Achaea, was made and Varian (the 'Other') was put in it because Sarapis couldn't destroy him directly.

There was the OOC connection between Achaea - Lusternia (I think Eris in Achaea and Estarra are the same player). People always assumed that it was merely a fun but impossible theory, but then there was this event in Achaea where Eris stole essence from another god and then tunneled through a rift in the world into another. So...

Imperian has no connection that I'm aware of. suspicious.gif

Imperian does share a base map with the other two IRE games. Although the naming is different, it's pretty obvious if you compare maps, and I think Avasyu or Dranor even accidentally used the other IRE game names in place of certain areas in Imperian (i.e. calling the Modin Valley "Pash Valley".)
Esano2009-06-27 00:58:25
Eris = Estarra.

Unnamed Horror = Nameless Son of Yudhe.

The Unnamed Horror raped Maya, the Great Mother, to produce the race of humans. There was an IC event where Eris left Achaea through a rift with the Unnamed Horror in tow, too, IIRC.

Obviously, that isn't actual Lusternia canon. It's just an ... easter egg, and a little bit of fun for Achaea players (the Eris event).

In a similar vein to the mountains question, what prevents someone from going to Skarch, walking east and building a boat? There's an ocean right there. Is it sea monsters?

Lusternia is flat. You'll just sail off the edge. That's my best guess, at least.

Sea kittens, made of fire and scotch.

I'm guessing it's mainly because we can't do "BUILD BOAT HERE". Then after that we'd have to find a sea route. Then there's the sea kittens and the possibility that the world IS flat.

I'd be willing to take the trip. I'll bring back silk and spices, the likes of which ye have never seen.

You don't really need a boat. You can get a magic charm that lets you walk on water for the low, low price of 750 gold. And we know the world isn't flat. It says so in the histories. Is the answer really scotch kittens?

No really, the world is flat. Estarra and co. haven't built enough rooms to make it round yet, therefore flat.
