Decided to use 120cr to trans highmagic and arts and save the rest for beastmastery and a pet after some artifacts.

Shield rune is pretty good. Pah. 52/52 shield as opposed to a 40/40. :/

Though greatpentagram is useful too!

What would be a good trade skill for a knight who won't have the money to trans Forging? I was thinking either Herbs or Alchemy, because I figure I could sell some for a little bit of money.

Herbs has made me a rather large sum of money, enough to buy enough skills and artifacts to make it well worth the time spent wandering every room scavenging the herbs available.

Does the level 2 human racial exp bonus, harmony blessing and darkchant bloodrage all stack or is there a limit somewhere?

Are there any forged items with staff as a noun and not two-handed?

My question to you now is: you can forge a staff?
Unknown2008-10-27 16:14:22
You can forge leather armour and wooden clubs, right?

Which one of those is a staff? tongue.gif

(I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is no, at any rate.)

Those aren't exactly "forged" but more crafted, and still, no staffs.

Well, tahtos are staves, aren't they? (But two-handed, so doesn't suit the OP's request.)

It will be cheaper to trans highmagic and arts before the credit-to-lesson bonus ends, then get the shield rune. Since with a bit of work, can have the 350cr for it in a month or so.

There's a catagory called "Polearms" under forging, most of those are pikes and halberds though, Not sure if they'd use Staff or not as a keyword.
Doman2008-10-27 19:08:09
Nope. Only 1 handed staffs you'll find are owned by Mages.

Is the fact that you can send tells while enchanting but not replies a bugable issue?
Fionn2008-10-27 22:32:15
More than likely. Might as well try and find out!

Probably, but you'll have to pass it on to your envoys anyway, most likely. tongue.gif

It's been like that for quite some time. Anything an action disrupts, like gateweave/teleport/moonbeam/whatever, reply will also.

What skill level and % are kata weapons at in forging? The Scrying pool doesn't list it.

Also acceptable... what two skills is it between?
Xiel2008-10-28 00:00:48
Kata weapons are between Chain and Polearms...maybe 50% through Gifted, but that's just a very, very hazy guesstimate. :/
